Bill Bob and Valentina hold an inquiry with Neding, they decide that he’s been negligent and is at least partially responsible for the loss of Kernand and Guscan. they dismiss him from the Astro-Corps.

this space plane idea is getting costly, with Rodsy’s injury and now the death of two more crew members, it seems like this is just a pipe dream.

Keema decides to stay on the station to relieve Kernand in the science lab. the KTS undocks and makes a de-orbit burn, hoping to get close to the KSC. things seem to be going all right, but it turns out he’s overshot by a huge margin. once through the atmosphere, Neding sets his sights on an island just off his flight path, but he runs out of fuel just short, and with no power the KTS has the glide-path of a brick. Neding bails out at the last second, but Kernand and Guscan cant get to the hatch in time and are both killed.. this KTS is definitely not as safe as a capsule. RIP Kernand and Guscan. (players note, Damn these space planes are a pain. I avoided sending any of the kerbals \i like on this mission, so yeah.)

Neding, Keema and Guscan head off to Space Lab 1, the KTS-01 performs as expected, going extreamly fast in the atmosphere, but docking turns out to be difficult as the KTS-01 lack sideways translation thrusters. Neding manages to dock after a wile using a spiral in approach. once docked they transfer to the KSS::00 Nova and attach the mun lander fuel package.
