A/N - another short one sorry guys.. but lmk what you think and drop some requests please!! :)
The Chelsea Football Club training facility buzzed with energy as players and staff prepared for another day of intense workouts and practice sessions.
Among them was you, the younger sister of the renowned Australian football star, Sam Kerr. Unlike your sister, who had made her mark on the pitch, you had recently joined Chelsea as a physiotherapist, eager to contribute to the team's success in your own way.
As you stepped onto the training ground, you were met with warm smiles and greetings from your sister and her teammates. It was a relief to see that
Your presence was welcomed by the tight-knit group, despite your initial nerves about joining the club.
However, amidst the familiar faces, one certain brunette caught your eye - Guro Reiten, the confident and pretty Norwegian footballer who had become a standout player for Chelsea FC. When she approached you and shook your hand, a rush of nerves washed over you, leaving you momentarily speechless.
"Nice to meet you!" Guro said with a friendly smile, her dark green eyes sparkling with warmth.
You managed to stammer out a response, feeling your cheeks flush with embarrassment. From that moment on, Guro seemed to seek you out during training sessions, always finding an excuse to strike up a conversation or offer a playful wink.
As days turned into weeks, you and Guro developed a close friendship, with her endearing personality and easy charm putting you at ease. She was always there to offer a listening ear or a friendly joke, and you found yourself looking forward to your interactions with her more and more.
You suspected the feelings you felt towards her were more than just anxiety, you thought she was amazingly beautiful and intimidating, you immediately rid this thought from your head, swearing to not tell anyone about your newfound feelings.
One evening, your sister Sam suggested having a team bonding night at your house, and you hesitantly agreed, your shy nature not liking the idea of so many people in your space. As the players gathered to watch a movie, you found yourself sitting next to Guro, your arms and thighs pressed together, the warmth of her presence sending a flutter of excitement through you.
As the movie progressed, you felt your eyelids growing heavy, the exhaustion of the day finally catching up to you.
Without thinking, you leaned against Guro's shoulder, finding comfort in the solid warmth of her body.
-
When you woke up, you realized you were nestled in Guro's lap, her fingers gently stroking your hair as you slept.
Blushing furiously, you started to apologize, but Guro silenced you with a soft smile.
"It's okay," she said, her voice warm and reassuring. "I enjoyed having you there."
Before you could respond, Guro leaned in and pressed a gentle kiss to your cheek, leaving you speechless and incredibly flustered. You lifted your hand to your cheek, touching the place where she kissed, your cheek hot to the touch from embarrassment.
-
The next morning, as you made your way to training, you couldn't shake the memory of Guro's kiss. Your heart raced with anticipation as you approached in the physio room, nerves tingling with uncertainty.
"I'm sorry for falling asleep on you again," you blurted out, your words tumbling out in a rush. "I hope you don't hate me now." you whispered.
“It’s fine, I promise, stop overthinking kjæreste” Guro said sincerely, but let out a giggle at your seriousness.
“But I really am I pro-“ You started again, Guro's response was unexpected.
Without a word, she closed the distance between you, cutting you off. Her lips meeting yours in a passionate kiss. You melted into her embrace, feeling her hands run over your body, sending shivers of pleasure down your spine.
She deepened the kiss, you desperately trying to keep up with the rapid movement of her lips. You knew that people said when you kiss for the first time, it feels like fireworks. But thats not what this felt like, it didn’t feel like magic or sparks, it just felt right. Your lips fit perfectly against Guros and all you could think is how right it felt, like you were perfectly molded for eachother.
Your thoughts were cut off quickly, you gasped as her strong arms gripped your thighs and lifted you up, seating you on the physio bed. You felt her slot herself in between your legs, groaning when she moved her hands to your backside, squeezing your ass with both of her hands.
As she pulled away, a mischievous glint danced in her eyes. "Are you free later?" she asked, her voice husky with desire.
You nodded, unable to form a coherent response as she walked away, leaving you breathless and eager for what the future held.

summary: what happens when your lover of almost three years gets a bit insecure about certain things? just something fluff, and it's rewritten. canadian!reader, fleming!reader

you gave the crowd a small smirk, as the cheering had gotten a bit louder. you were simply strumming your electric guitar, playing the last song on the set list, but you gave a cheeky smile at your sister who stood beside her teammates, and your girlfriend. your lover's eyes have never left you, in fact she watched you with a proud grin, as you sang your heart out for the last song.
when the song had ended, you were absolutely breathless as part of your layered hair had covered your eyes, quickly moving them--you had bid goodbye to the crowd as you headed backstage, alex (the drummer) your childhood best friend and quinn (the bassist) a mutual friend you had met in college had followed right behind you.
"excited to see the missus?" the irish had teased, as you chuckled at her words. but she was correct, you are excited to see her again--the months on tour had been restless, and since london was the final stop, you had decided to stay at your sister's place. despite being twins, jessie was still your older sister by a few minutes. but you were the taller one, so it was easy to tease your older sister.
"is it that obvious?" you asked, chuckling as you felt a bit shy at their teasing. maybe it was the way you kept talking about the norwegian, despite being miles apart. the bracelet she had made was currently worn around your left wrist, it's what caught the attention of your fans, but rather than answering them, you'd given them a shy smile as you greeted them before engaging in a small conversation.
"anyone can spot from a mile away that you're hopelessly in love with her." alex teased, his eyes leaving yours as he caught a glimpse of who was the surprise visitors. you felt someone snake their arms around your waist as they pulled you closer, a contented hum had escaped your lips as you turned around--guro gave you a soft yet wide smile, as you gave her a peck on her cheek. regardless of the fame you currently have, you were never one for public affection.
your relationship was the definition of lovers in private, and best friends in public. you had befriended a few chelsea players the moment your sister had signed for them, back in 2020, jessie wanted you to come with as she signed the contract for moral support, she'd say. but you were alright with it, that was how you met guro after all. it was during a chelsea game, you had spent a month in london writing and coming up with lyrics for the album, a confused look was seen on your face throughout the game.
when the game had ended, you were waiting for jessie near the barrier, scrolling through your phone not noticing how she came up to you. it took you a while to notice really, and when you did--you were the shyest person she ever met. jessie had seperated you from the norwegian as she noticed from afar that the two of you were talking, guro was surprised but then your noticable freckles had given it away.
"guro, you don't need to bring y/n to my place. i'm sure she'd like to stay with you." jessie teased as you gave her a shrug, a small chuckle escaped guro's mouth as she hummed.
"i didn't plan on it, fleming." guro said, as jessie raised her eyebrows before shaking her head at the two of you. the two of you bid goodbye, hopping into the backseat of one of the given cars. each bandmate was assigned a car and a driver, but you would share if you were headed together to an event, or etc. it didn't take awhile to settle yourself in your girlfriend's apartment, you wore her pajamas as you used your towel to dry your damped hair.
the norwegian was looking out the balcony window, her eyes were set on the couples walking through the streets, her jaw was a bit clenched--there was something obviously bothering her. you called out, not receving a reply the first three times as you shuffled around the apartment, joining guro on the balcony.
"are you alright, love?" you softly asked, knowing that there was something that was occupying her mind. but she had kept quiet, as you patiently waited.
"i just hate how i can't have you in public, or the other people who would get close to you." guro had commented, as you gave her a soft smile, she's jealous but you understood that--you want to be public about your relationship as well. but you're afraid of the backlash that she might get, rather than being worried about what would happen to you, you're more worried on what would happen to her.
"du vet at de ikke er deg, jeg har bare øynene mine på deg, guro. [you do know that they're not you, i only have my eyes on you, guro.]" her eyes widened as you fluently spoke in her native language, a soft smile appeared on her face, as tears filled her eyes. you had been practicing and learning her language despite your busy schedule.
"jeg føler bare at det er vanskelig å elske meg, jeg er opptatt med karrieren min, og jeg har kanskje ikke tid til deg. [i just feel like it's hard to love me, i'm busy with my career and i may not have time for you.]" you chuckled at her behavior, it's true she'll be more busy as time passes by, but so will you--so a part of you understood her, it may not be the training and games. but it was the constant tours, the vocal training, the busy fanmeets and you were too busy keeping up with your appearance.
"du tar ikke feil, kjærlighet. alle er vanskelige å elske, men husker du da jeg sa at du burde velge din karriere før meg? [you aren't wrong, love. everyone is hard to love, but remember when i said that you should choose your career before me?]" when you first started dating, you made the norwegian promise that you wouldn't be her first prority, that you'd be her fourth or fifth. herself must come first before all, then her family and friends, her career and lastly, you.
"selvfølgelig gjør jeg det. så hvorfor blir du? [of course, i do. then why do you stay?]" guro asked, as you hummed at her words. you gave her a soft smile, before pulling her closer into you, snaking your arm around her--just like she did awhile ago.
"fordi jeg heller vil lære deg enn å miste deg. jeg vil heller gjøre en innsats enn å ikke prøve i det hele tatt, kjærlighet. [because i'd rather learn you than lose you. i'd rather make an effort than not try at all, love.]" a small hum was heard, as she placed a soft kiss on your forehead, it was a gesture that she loves doing.
"jeg elsker deg. [i love you.]" "jeg elsker deg også. [i love you too.]"

We're Moving Too Fast...Aren't We? (Guro Reiten x Reader)
Tumblr media
You're enjoying a night out, on a rooftop bar with a few other WSL clubs, and your own team, Arsenal. It was WSL tradition to throw a big party in London for the end of season, usually this is only the major clubs as the others struggle to get to grips with near relegation. Today's team attendees were yourselves at Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs, The Manchesters and Villa.
"Come ooooon Y/N it's time to dance" Your mate Victoria Pelova slurs at you. You approach her and steady her with your arms.
"Think that's enough to drink now Vic, don't want you vomiting over the carpet in our house" You smile, helping her find a chair and some water, Viv takes over on 'motherly duties' so you can walk away and be with the others.
"Going on the pull tonight Y/N?" Alex Scott nudges your side. She always gets an invite alongside many other retired players, a lot are still very close friends with the teams they played for.
"Nah, you know that's not my thing anymore" You wink at her.
"Y/N I've seen you kissing multiple girls on the same night, why not here!" Leah nudges you.
"I don't like to mix business with pleasure" you joke, asking the bartender for another glass. “For the record, that was a joke. I’m not like that anymore, I’ve matured from the partygirl I was when I was 19! Magda helped a lot with that”.
"Well at least flirt around a bit, it's always fun to watch how quickly you work your magic" Leah says, convincingly.
"If you need tips on how to pull you could've just asked Lee" You tease. "but fine, I'll do it, what harm can it do".
"Okay challenge for tonight, a Chelsea girl" Alex wiggles her eyebrows at you, both you and Leah visibly shudder at the word 'Chelsea'.
"For one night fine, but mark my words, you'll never find me dating or sleeping with a Chelsea girl" You shake your head walking over to the dancefloor drink in hand.
You dance with a few of your friends, one of those being Magda, even if she is still Chelsea through and through she was like a mother figure to you during your loan spell at Linköpings when you were much younger. She sees you glancing around and stops you with her hand on your chest, letting out what seemed to be a sigh.
"Y/N... Really? I thought you grew out of this during your year in Sweden with me" She smacks your shoulder.
"It's for Leah's entertainment, and for a bet and it's a Chelsea girl" You shudder again, making Magda laugh and nudge you.
"Well here's some advice. They don't like the gunners and wouldn't want to flirt with one, but I've heard Guro, Niamh and Jessie all say something somewhat nice about you" She sighs, gesturing over to the girls.
"It's only some flirting to show Leah I'm better at flirting than her" You offer a small smile "Promise I won't be sleeping around or trying to get with one of them" she holds out her pinky, which you interlock yours with hers.
You dance over to the Chelsea girls and greet them somewhat politely, getting hugs from all three.
"You guys had an insane season, congratulations" You hold your drink up to them, which they do in response as you all sip your drinks.
"So what brings you over here?" Jessie elbows you.
"My girls are boring or waaaaay too drunk to be dancing with me" you chuckle, sliding up a bit closer to the group.
“Reckon you’ll ever play for us Y/N?” Niamh smirks at you cheekily.
“Absolutely not, you won't catch me dead in a Chelsea shirt” You grimace, causing the three girls to laugh at your response. “Now what about you guys wearing a Y/L/N shirt to an Arsenal match one day in support of the better team?”.
“Not a chance” Guro says, rolling her eyes.
“I bet I can get you wearing an Arsenal shirt to one of my matches by the end of this year, in support of me” You smirk at Guro. Jessie and Niamh seem to be deep in another conversation with Magda and Pernille to the side, leaving you to work your magic like you told your friends you would do.
“It’s so on, if you fail, you can wear a Reiten shirt at one of our matches, I’ll get you front row seats so you can admire the view” She winks holding out her hand which you shake, sealing your bet.
“Oh believe me I am enjoying the view already” You look at her eyes and give her a soft smile.
“Wait a second…are you doing what I think you’re doing?” She questions.
“Depends on if you like it or not” You mumble, suddenly feeling slightly nervous. This was unlike your usual behaviour when it came to flirting. As you’re feeling the nerves you look into her eyes and feel yourself melt slightly at the soft look she’s giving you.
“And what if I do like it?” She says in a more suggestive tone “Is this the great Y/N getting nervous? Never thought I’d see the day”. “If you do like it, then I’d suggest we take this to the dance floor” You nod over to the dancefloor where many of your friends are dancing together. “Oh and I don’t get nervous, even if it’s a beautiful woman like you”. You whisper in her ear and see a very faint blush on her face. You smile to yourself as you both walk to the dancefloor hand in hand.
You dance together for a while, still engaging in conversation with each other. As the night goes on the drinks continue flowing and you feel yourself getting more and more confident, making somewhat bolder moves and both getting drunker.
━━━━━
“åh herregud!” You hear as your eyes shoot open. “What the hell, why are you here?”.
You look around and have absolutely no idea where you are, apart from the fact Guro Reiten is sat up next to you in a bed that you’re both sharing.
“It’s okay, we’re fine” You calm her down. “Now, how the hell did we get here? Where are we?”
“My apartment, and I have no idea how we got here together” She sighs, you admire her morning hair, messily laying on her shoulders. The light coming in through the blinds of her room makes her eyes glisten and skin glow. Wait what?
“Okay question one, do you live here alone?” You ask her, she shakes her head. “Oh my god you have a girlfriend? Shit I’m so sorry, fuck, I should go” You panic and start standing up to get ready to leave. “No you idiot, I share a house with Erin and Niamh” She drags you back down. “My question for you is, what do you think we did last night?”.
“Well from the fact we are both still pretty much in last night's clothes, not a lot” You chuckle, walking over to her mirror “Although I don’t remember me having these yesterday” you narrow your eyes at her in the reflection in the mirror whilst pointing at the trail of hickeys on your neck, causing her to blush.
“It could’ve been anyone!” She says with her eyes wide.
“Considering I woke up in your bed, I’m very sure on who it was” You roll your eyes. You sit in silence for a few seconds, both getting your bearings on what happened, how and what you’re gonna do to get away with it.
“Do you actually remember much from last night?” She asks you, leaning back against the mattress, you follow her lead and lay next to her. Her shirt has risen slightly from her flopping onto the bed and you can’t help but admire her body. “Eyes up here Y/LN” she smirks as you quickly snap your eyes back up to hers.
“I remember enough to have a good understanding of why I’m here. For the record, Leah and Alex dared me to pull a Chelsea player but as soon as we started talking that all went out the window” You break eye contact, your nerves get the better of you until you feel a hand gently moving your chin to force you back into eye contact with her.
“I guessed that after you snuck your way over to our table, they were watching you the whole time. I also really enjoyed time with you Y/N, I can make myself nice and free today if you want to re-do last night… but with less alcohol please” She says holding her stomach, you nod back enthusiastically.
“I can run home and grab my car? I can drive us somewhere if you like, as it seems we only live around the corner from each other!” You say excitedly. “That and I need to try to sneak in without waking up Vic and Gio, that’s going to be a nightmare”.
“Meet me outside in an hour? That gives me time to freshen up and look less like I had a night with an Arsenal player” She fake heaves, you roll your eyes in response and walk to the door of her room.
“WAIT” She grabs your hand “I think the girls are downstairs, let me distract them and I’ll say Cereal when you’re clear to escape” She says walking out the room. You sneak down quietly and hide around a corner from the girls.
“No I didn’t sleep with Y/N! Jesus Erin, you’ll never catch me with a gooner” She laughs. You hear a gasp from Niamh, instantly you feel that dreadful feeling of being caught.
“Did she do this?” Niamh continues fussing over Guro “In all seriousness I’m proud of you for getting some Guro, it’s about time”.
“Ugh, can we stop talking about her now, have we got any cereal in the kitchen or did you eat it all Erin?” Guro says, you notice the codeword and slowly make your way to the front door of the house and manage to escape barely making a noise. Rather than the walk of shame, you opt for an Uber home rather than walking for 10 minutes, still unable to fight that nauseous feeling.
When you arrive home you open the door to find Vic passed out on the floor in the living room, you start making her a coffee to help her with the wake up, alongside some painkillers. You lift her gently off the floor and place her on the sofa whilst making her drink, she starts waking up too thankfully.
“Morning Y/N, still wearing last night's clothes?” She jokes.
“Didn’t even make it to my bed, you’re expecting me to go through all that effort to get dressed too?” You lie.
“Morning you two” Gio sings as she walks in with a starbucks in hand.
“Where were you, young lady?” You joke, hands on hips.
“Oh I stayed at Katherine’s, I can see you two got home safe?” Gio says looking over at you both still in last night's clothes.
“Oh yeah, I got in a little after this one, but all in one piece!” You say nudging Vic.
“God how drunk was I? I don’t even remember getting home, bet it was Viv” Vic sighs. You sigh, relieved that your housemates have no suspicions of you staying out last night.
“Anyway as much as I love you both, I need to get out of these clothes, and get some shopping done” You say.
“Can I come?” Vic asks.
“Nope, unless you really want to go with me to test out which guitar I want for 3 hours” You smirk.
“Nevermind, I’d rather sit at home eating ice cream” She kisses you on the cheek as she walks off to the kitchen with the coffee you made her, you make your way up to your room. As you get dressed after your shower, there’s a gentle knock on your door.
“What? I already said I’m going guitar shopping!” You grumble. “It’s me” You hear Gio on the other side “Are you decent?” you open the door for her to come in, you’ve not put a shirt on yet but have your sports bra on.
“Now, Vic may believe your lies, but I do not. Where were you last night?” She squints at you.
“I’m not lying, I was at home just after Vic” You shrug, Gio chuckles.
“I’m sorry Y/N, I won’t tell on you, but I can tell” She gives you a soft smile.
“But..how? You weren’t even home?” You sigh.
“One, you set off our ring doorbell with motion just now. I’ve deleted the recording of you fumbling your way in earlier. Two, your neck tells me a different story” She smirks poking at one of the dark red marks “Now I’ll keep your secret safe, on one condition. You tell me who it was”.
“You know I love you right?” You look at her guiltily, again she gives you her squinted look. “It was a Chelsea player”.
“I can’t believe you! I don’t even care who it is! If the team finds out you’re so fucked” Gio gasps. You throw a shirt on and get ready to leave whilst Gio is still fussing about your ordeal.
“You’re meeting up with her, aren’t you?” She smirks.
“Maybe I am, maybe I’m not” You say whilst still grabbing your stuff to go.
“Listen, if you’re thinking what I’m thinking… This is massively out of your normal behaviour. The Y/N Y/L/N doesn’t do dates. So this is clearly something special. I promise I won’t tell anyone, and I can’t wait for you to tell me all about your date later” Gio wraps you in a tight hug and kisses your cheek. “Now go get your girl!” She smacks your back.
You jog out of the house yelling a ‘bye’ and ‘love you’ to your housemates. You get in your car and drive to Guro’s apartment. As you pull up outside you see her having an animated conversation with Erin and Niamh and lower the window slightly to hear the conversation.
“No Erin, it's not some random creep I’ve met. I promise she’s really nice” Guro groans.
“I trust you, but I don’t trust her. Let me meet her. Is that her now?” She points directly at your car and starts walking towards it alongside Guro and Niamh. You decide to hop out of the car and greet them.
“Absolutely not, not a chance. Guro why a gooner!” Erin groans. You two have hung out a few times together post Chelsea and Arsenal matches so you are on good speaking terms.
“Hey nothing wrong with us!” You joke back smiling at Erin.
“Right, I’m going all protective on you now” She nudges Guro to get in your car whilst you two talk. “What are your intentions with Guro, and what happened last night?”.
“I had a feeling this was coming” You sigh “I know I have this history, but that’s all it is now. My intentions with Guro however? I don’t even know, but I do know I will treat her with the respect she deserves. I’m sorta new to this whole going on a date thing and I’m super nervous and I really like her…and now I’m rambling” You blush, Erin starts grinning, Niamh gives a nod.
“Our protective duties are done. She’s all yours. I trust you Y/N” Erin gives you a hug.
“But you didn’t even let me tell you what happened last night?” You question.
“Ah we don’t need to know, because I let you two and Niamh in last night. You were like giggly schoolgirls. You and I had to carry Guro up the stairs and that was a disaster, followed by us doing the same for Niamh. I was only joking about being protective, I know you care, even if it has only been one day of getting to know her and for the record, I had a feeling you guys would hit it off one day” She winks. You laugh and have a small conversation with the two of them before leaving for your date with Guro.
“Have fun you two! But not too much, yeah?” Niamh jokes as you start pulling the car away. As you get on the road you put your playlist on in the car and sit comfortably in Guro’s company.
“What did they say to you?” She asks, looking over to you. You keep your eyes on the road.
“Well, they went all protective, I rambled, turns out Erin let us and Niamh in last night and we carried you up the stairs, and then had to carry Niamh too. Now she thinks she’s cupid as she expected us to get on well” You chuckle, Guro groans.
“I swear to God she’s so annoying” Guro whines. “What did you ramble about?”.
“You” You say quietly.
“I’m sorry, I couldn’t quite hear you” She teases.
“You know what I said. You, I rambled about you. How this is all very new to me and even if it has been less than 24 hours I already really care about you and think you deserve the world” You ramble “Look what you’ve done I’m rambling again!” You grumble.
“Well I think it’s cute” both you and Guro start blushing. Never in your wildest dreams did you think you’d ever be such a mess for someone.
━━━━━
"...and that's how I missed the Derby last year" You chuckle as Guro laughs along.
"To think I thought it was a sport related injury, not tripping down the stairs drunk trying to chase Frida" She laughs. You stir your coffee and admire her, you find yourself getting lost in her eyes once again.
"You know, you aren't all that bad Y/LN" Guro smiles, placing a hand on yours.
"Same with you, Reiten" You give her hand a squeeze.
"I don't wanna go back to the girls after this, I'm gonna get quizzed" Guro groans.
"You can always come over to mine? Vic and Gio will be home but we can order some food in and chill?" You offer, she nods in response.
━━━━━
You open your door and you're hit with silence, either they're in their rooms or out.
"The coast is clear, go go go" you say, dragging Guro in. Luckily you were right, neither of your housemates were home. Your phone vibrates in your pocket.
Gio - GURO REITEN?!
As you both settle on your sofa you respond to Gio.
Y/N - Damn doorbell… Just a friend x
Gio - Liar. Keep your naughty business to your room please, we will be home soon (I didn't tell Vic)❤️
You sigh as you lock your phone, look at Guro who's also looking at your phone.
"Just a friend?" Guro looks at you.
"Well… I didn't wanna put a label on it, that's a lot of pressure for us" You mumble.
"Well I don't wanna just be your friend Y/N" She strokes your cheek "I like this side of you, nervous, caring and a real charmer".
"I try, I try" You chuckle "But in all seriousness, I feel the same. How about… Dating?" You suggest.
"As long as that means I can do this…" She leans in and kisses you, you get carried away until you hear the door being unlocked, you both run up the stairs and hide from your housemates who luckily didn't spot you.
"That was a close one" Guro breathes out heavily.
You hear a hello downstairs from someone you didn't expect.
"Oh my god Frida's home from visiting her girlfriend!" You instantly jump up "I'll be right back! FRIDA FRIDA FRIDA" you run down the stairs yelling and jump into your best friend's arms.
"Oh hello Y/N, I missed you too" Frida laughs, hugging you tightly. "Where are the other two?".
"They went out, they'll be back soon though!" You smile "You should probably unpack and shower, I'll leave you to it!" you say as you run back up to your room. Guro is just sitting on your bed, admiring your room and looking at your medals and awards.
"Enjoying yourself?" you smile, she nods. You pass her your phone with your local Chinese takeaway menu on it so she can pick what she wants, once you order you cuddle on the bed just chatting quietly.
"I can't believe I'm dating an Arsenal player" Guro groans.
"I'd be honoured too" You smirk.
"You're never getting me to wear your shirt, national team maybe but Arsenal it's a hard pass" She kisses your cheek.
"What would it take to get you to wear an Arsenal shirt" You ask her.
"Hmmm" she taps her chin thinking. You smirk and lean in to kiss her. "That won't work but it'll help your case". You connect your lips and carry on from where you left off downstairs. You lean over her and kiss her from above her, it continues getting fairly heated, quiet moans, shaky breaths.
"Hey Y/N your food is…. WOOOAH! I am so sorry! I didn't know you had someone up here… wait GURO?!" Frida shrieks.
“I would say it’s not what it looks like but… yeah” You sigh as you roll off Guro.
“Y/N, a word please? In private” Frida says, waving you out of the room and shutting the door. “Okay you know I love you a lot. But Guro has been through a lot, don’t play around with her, be honest and open and you’ll be fine”.
“Frida trust me, I don’t ever want to hurt her. Yeah it’s a lot for only a day of getting to know eachother, but there’s a connection we have and I can’t explain it. Ever since I first played against her a few years back I always felt nervous seeing her. She’s just so pretty and I used to find her somewhat intimidating. I wanted to get her attention but I knew she had a girlfriend and it’d just be seen as me doing ‘a Y/N’. Main reason I stopped partying and messing about, and she doesn’t even know it.” You ramble.
“Y/N…you really do care about her don’t you? I remember the last match you played Norway that you went all blushy when you did a shirt swap with her. It all makes sense! Y/N has a loooover” Frida sings.
“Shut uuuup!” You groan. “Now can I get back to my girlfriend but not girlfriend?” You whine.
“Yep, but on one condition, you tell the team when you’re official. Both teams that is” She smirks.
“Deal” You say as you open your bedroom door to go back in.
“Come sort out your food you two, or I’m stealing your spring rolls” Frida yells up the stairs. You instantly spring off the bed.
“NOOOOO!” You run down the stairs and tackle Frida, with Guro following behind, removing you from your friend and pinning you down.
“Traitor! You’re a traitor!” You say towards Guro.
“Us Norwegians stick together” Frida fist bumps Guro and you scowl at them.
You hear a commotion at the door followed by your other housemates walking in.
“Oh. My. God. We have a Chelsea player in our house, this feels so wrong” Gio jokes, going to greet Guro “I’m Gio, but you can call me Y/N’s worst nightmare”. Guro laughs and gives Gio a small hug. Followed by Vic. The two had brought home food for them and Frida so you all sit on the sofas and eat your food, engaging in chatter.
“Guro, why her though” Frida whines.
“Hey I heard her ramble to you through the door, I think just that alone was self explanatory” Guro shrugs, your eyes go wide. Guro hugs into your side.
"I never thought I'd see Y/N with a girlfriend. You're so happy and it's barely been a day" Vic grins.
“Yeah well, get used to it” You smile leaning more into Guro.
After a few hours of chatting, eating and watching shows your housemates decide to call it a night.
“I should probably get going, I’ve got training in the morning” Guro sighs, with a sad smile on her face “I had a lot of fun Y/N, I’m really glad we did have the guts to have a drunk sleepover”.
“Me too, how about I give you a lift home? That or you can always stay for the night? I’ve got some spare clothes and I can take you home in the morning and give you a lift to training, I have no plans tomorrow so I don’t mind hel-” You ramble until Guro breaks it with a gentle kiss.
“If it helps you stop rambling, I’ll stay tonight. How about we go out for dinner tomorrow…its a team dinner with partners at Chelsea so you’re more than welcome to go with me, that’s if you’d want to do that” She blushes. You nod in response.
“We aren’t moving too fast are we?” You chuckle “Because if so, I don’t care”.
“I think we’ve both had our eye on each other for a while, so I guess we are just making up for lost time” Guro smiles, squeezing your hand as you stifle a yawn.
“Right you, let’s go to bed” She pulls you upstairs.

Hard to get // Guro Reiten
Tumblr media
Guro had a massive crush on you. The moment she saw you, she knew. It was the way you smiled that made her heart race, the sound of your laugh that made her stomach flip, the kindness you shared.
The two of you went on a few dates already but nothing more than that happened. After every date Guro wouldn‘t answer your messages for at least two days. It annoyed you. She was a lovely girl and going out with her was amazing, she treated you right but her behaviour afterwards? You didn‘t like it at all. It sent mixed signals. Did she want you or not?
Unknown to you Sam Kerr and Erin Cuthbert, her Chelsea teammates, told her to act tough, hard to get. She didn‘t know why but her experience with dating someone wasn‘t the greatest so she just listened and did so. It was a strategy that should make her more interesting, more likable for you.
But you had enough. You wanted to know if it was something serious because in your eyes it was. So you made up a plan. Maybe it was unnecessary, maybe even childish but two can play a game.
Guro 💞
I‘ll pick you up at six;)
That was it. Guro always sent messages like that and it was perfect for your plan. She didn‘t respond to your previous message so you didn‘t respond to hers.
Exactly at 6 pm, your door bell rang. You made yourself pretty, dressed up. You had the perfect date outfit but just not for her. Opening the door, you saw the norse standing there with a smile "Hey, pretty lady" she grinned as she shamlessly checked you out. You tried to hide it but your cheeks were burning red. Anyways, "You have 30 seconds to apologize" you stated, looking at your watch.
"What for?"
"I‘m not stupid, darling", you smiled, secretly enjoying the way 'darling' rolled over the tip of your tongue. "I know you‘re playing hard to get" her whole face fell. "I- i… you-.. um" she was a stuttering mess "ding ding ding, 30 seconds are over" you stepped beside her and started walking towards the road where a woman was waiting at her car. The woman smiled brightly the same as you did. Guro could only watch. The winger had to watch you hug someone else all dressed up while she was standing at your door like a lost puppy.
As soon as you were out of sight (driving away with the woman) Guro texted her friends.
Guro
you shitheads.
Sam
??
Erin
?!
When Guro didn‘t reply Sam started a group call "you okay?" Erin started "aren‘t you supposed to be on a date?" Sam chipped in. "Yes but thanks to you guys she just drove away with another woman" they heard how the norse inhaled sharply "play hard to get. Don‘t reply to her" she mimicked their voices. "Wanna start from the beginning?" and that‘s what she did. She told them everything from the moment the door was opened "Damn" - "Wow"
"We need to fix this"
The next day, Guro was standing in front of your house with her hands full of flowers. She stood in front of the door for about 10 minutes before she finally rang the bell. She felt many things; excitement, tension, nervousness. "Hello?" You weren't expecting anyone when you opened the door, thinking it was the mail man. "H-hi, my pretty lady" the winger said shyly. "Can we talk?" you stepped aside, giving her the hint that she can step into your home. As she went in, she looked around. She‘s never been in your home before and was amazed. It was so much like you. "These are for you" smiling, she gave you the flowers. You nodded as a thank you. "I‘m sorry.. for being an ass" she began as you searched for a vase. "I‘ve never done something like- like us. Some friends told me to play hard to get. Not reply to your texts and that stuff." you hummed as responds. "I like you," she looked down, not meeting your eyes "and if you let me, i‘ll reply to every text from you as soon as i can. I’ll show you that i want you"
When you didn‘t answer, she had her answer. Her heart hurt as she realized she messed up being with you. "You like that woman, don‘t you?"
"I do"
Peng, ouch that hurt.
You took a step towards her, cupping her cheeks "but as a sister because she is" within a second the wingers head snapped up "that was your sister?"
"Yes" you grinned, playing with her baby hair which made her melt. "Thank God"
"I like you, too"
While her hands went around your waist she looked deeply in your eyes. You always got lost in the beauty of her orbs.
And just like that the world around stopped. It was only the two of you. Looking down at her lips you asked for consent. You wanted to kiss her since the first date but it was never the right time. Well, maybe it was - you couldn’t tell because you also were inexperienced. As an answer she pressed her lips against yours. The kiss wasn‘t rushed, it was sweet and lovely, almost innocent.
Later that evening, she sent a quick text in the group chat.
Guro
Got the girl.

warnings: jealous guro
----
it was game day, chelsea against tottenham. we had spent couple of weeks in portugal, training and preparing for the pre season, before returning home to stamford bridge. emma had released the starting eleven players yesterday and me and guro were both listed, along with sam and millie.
i was nervous to say the least, it was pre game jitters that took over. but magda gave her captain's speech in an attempt to hype us all up. we all ran out onto the pitch afterwards, took a knee, then the whistle blew. we were off.
the first half was anticlimactic, really. both sides scored a goal, leaving the score 1-1. after half time we were back out there, and pulling more tricks than ever. sam made a miraculous goal from 15 metres away, celebrating with her signature backflip. then tottenham equaled the score with a header that flew past our zecira.
but it came down to the 85th minute when guro passed me the ball from across the field and i took a powerful kick for the ball to fly straight between their goalies' legs and into the net.
we finished the game after 5 minutes of injury time, and the score was 3-2 for chelsea. we all ran together and cheered, and i found guro, running up to her and jumping into a hug. she spun me around before placing me back down on the field.
after we'd all taken a victory lap around the pitch, we all traipsed back to the changing rooms and celebrated even more, jumping around and singing.
when we finally made it back to our hotel, guro followed me to my room, telling me to get changed into 'dinner clothes' because she was taking me out. i was baffled and she wouldn't tell me where we were going, only that it was a restaurant somewhere.
so i picked my clothes and got dressed, before she came to get me again. we drove around for a bit before she parked in front of a building, fairy lights hung around the entrance. it was a nice place, and the setting was perfect.
guro led me in, and spoke to the hostess who led us to a table and told us a waitress would be here soon. it didn't take that long before another woman came by, i assumed she was our waitress. we had looked through the menu, and told her what we wanted before she left again with a short nod and a smile thrown in my direction.
when i turned back to look at guro, she didn't look too happy. "hva er galt, kjærlighet?" (what is wrong, love?) i spoke in guro's mother tongue, i had learnt norwegian for her. she looked up at me, more relaxed than before.
"servitøren, hun så på deg." (the waitress, she was staring at you.) she looks at me slightly sheepishly, and i giggle at her words. "du har ingenting å bekymre deg for. i am with you, not her." (you have nothing to worry about.) i spoke the last bit in english, just as our drinks came over. "the food will be over shortly."
the waitress brushed her hand against mine as she placed the glasses down, and a less-than-subtle smirk was directed towards me too. i pulled my hand away immediately and grasped onto guro's in an attempt to both make her feel better and make myself feel better.
"i see what you mean." guro hums in response, holding onto my hand just as tight. eventually the food comes too, the waitress bearing it in her arms. she placed it down in front of us before asking, "is there anything else i can get you? maybe my number?" she looked directly at me, her hand hovering near my shoulder.
i pulled back i little and shook my head, then guro went into protective girlfriend mode, as i liked to call it. "she has a girlfriend." her thick norwegian accent made it sound more aggressive and the woman looked over at her. her face paled at the sight of my angry partner and she backed right off.
i smiled at the sight, protective guro was my favourite. "det var heit." (that was hot.) she grinned up at me when i spoke, blush tinting her cheeks.

the sniffles. | Guro Reiten
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
category: fluff with a pinch of angst.
summary: where Guro is sick during the first week of the world cup and you try to look out for her.
word count: 4.6k
a/n: i watched the travel day video and she was sniffling, as in this gif, and my immediate fucking terribly creative not brain just went; sick fic.
Tumblr media
Travelling was never not going to be on the list when deciding to become a professional footballer, although it was a period to dread.
You could withstand 1-5 hour journeys, coach, plane or train, but over 24 hours in a small tightly compacted seat was not on your to do list.
It wasn’t on your girlfriend’s either, not exactly keen on sitting in one place for so long, you knew you’ll be having to do some distracting to stop her from fidgeting every 2 seconds.
However, you all knew discomforts come when journeying to great things, it’s never known to be a breeze, as well as the mishaps that happen a long the way.
The first one being; not able to wake your grumpy girlfriend up.
“Guro. I’m not going to tell you again, if you want to miss the world cup, that’s on you. Get up.” You told her for the 12th time this early morning, rushing around the small hotel room as you gathered up all of each others belongings as she laid asleep.
You lifted your head from your suitcase, gaping at her cosied figure in disbelief as she made no movement nor noise.
“I am going to have a full on meltdown...” You murmured to yourself as you chucked a pair of socks so hard into your bag they bounced back out again. “Guro!”
You lunged over the luggage before ripping the duvet from the end of the bed, finally getting a response as she moaned and sat up slightly to reach for it again although your chucked it on the floor before she could.
“Up! We’re going to miss breakfast, or even the flight, if you don’t hurry your ass, up!” You clapped your hand together as you watched her lift her body weight up to sit on the mattress, rubbing her eyes slightly as she pouted.
Your heart couldn’t help but warm at the action, sleepy Guro was always the cutest and her expression made you want to wrap her up into a caccoon, you hated to disturb her.
“Hey, you conscious?”
“Yeah..” She squeaked as she shuffled to sit on the edge of the bed, reaching for your glass of water that was the only one that still held its contents.
“Are you okay?” You asked, concerned as she downed the glass, stopping your actions to keep an eye on her for a second.
“Mhm.. just tired and a bit bunged up but i’m okay.” She sniffled, as she forced a fake smile through her heavy eyelids.
“Go get yourself ready, i’ll do the bags. There’s ibuprofen in there still, take two of them.”
She nodded half heartedly as she made her way through the puzzle you’ve made on the floor, turning the light on before starting her routine.
She kept the door open as she did so, which didn’t stop you from glancing at her every second, unhelpful to the amount you still needed to pack.
After about thirty minutes or so, you had finally gotten the bags on their wheels the right side up whilst Guro sat on the edge of the bed, trying desperately to keep herself upright.
Normally you would have felt annoyed at the lack of help but her distant face made you want to do anything and everything for her out of sympathy.
Your hands on her cheeks made her snap out of her dream, sighing as she leaned in to them before you bent down.
“No. I don’t want you to catch anything.” She twisted her head away from yours whilst trying to keep your touch, her cheeks squished slightly.
“A forehead kiss will not affect me.” You smiled while doing as you said before tucking the little flyaways behind her ears. “Ready?”
You held your hand out for her, pulling her slightly to a stand before guiding her downstairs to meet the others.
Upon entering the food area, you both paved your way towards the coffee machine, standing together with your hand on the small of her back.
“Do you feel alright? Take your jumper off, you look hot.” You eyed her up and down as you took in her posture, eyebrows furrowing at her clear discomfort.
“I always do.” She shrugged with a spiritless smile, glancing at you before returning her gaze back on the coffee filling up her mug.
“I know, very funny.. but seriously.”
“I’m okay, i’m a bit chilly actually.” She reassured as she took her mug in her hand, carrying it back to your table carefully with you trailing behind with yours.
You placed yours on the table but kept stood up, watching as Guro did the same.
“Sit down, i’ll get something, anything you fancy?”
“Maybe just some granola with yogurt.. and fruit maybe.” She looked up from where she perched on the edge of her seat, a sheepish smile forming on her face from your care. “Takk.”
“What’s with Y/N being your personal assistant?” One of your teammates, Emilie, asked from across the table sipping on her water as she stared at Guro questionably.
“She offered.” She sniffled before watching the realisation drown out her friends worry, hinting onto why you both are stuck to the hip at the moment.
She didn’t dare mention what she realised though.
Guro doesn’t like being told what she doesn’t want to be told, being ‘sick’ is one of them.
Every time you mention the possibility she becomes blindsided and grumpy at your accusation, even though what your saying is normally true. She didn’t like to be incapable, she was an independent person and a pinch of a hint of doing everything for her in an act of taking care of her, annoyed her.
You return was detected by Guro when you placed a bowl of all sorts of what she asked for in front of her, more options of breakfast items for her to choose also.
You left her again for a few minutes after placing a kiss to the top of her head, going off to get what you wanted.
The plain state of a variety of food to choose from made it obvious to what you were doing, what she didn’t like; you babying her.
Once you returned she gave you a glare and you reacted to it like a deer caught in head lights, no idea what she was insinuating.
“What?”
“I don’t need all this? I asked for one thing.” She told you, an irritated look on her face as she sat up straight.
“I gave options, i thought you’d like more of the stuff they had out so i put it on the side. If you don’t want it..” You rambled, confused at Guro’s change of tone.
“No. No, sorry.. i’m being silly. Thank you.” Guro softened at your look, yourself panicking slightly whilst figuring out what was wrong with what you did, making her feel a little guilty.
She grabbed hold of your hand under the table, threading her fingers in between yours, three small squeezes followed before she focused on eating.
You saw her nibble at the bits you gave her, whilst you chatted to your teammates around you, Guro only perking up when asked a question, even so not giving an incredible answer.
You leant an elbow on the back of her chair, hand rubbing her shoulder in an act of consolation as you ducked your head towards her gaze, unsure on what to do.
She gave you a reassuring smile before pushing her chair back, getting up and rounding the table with a hand brushing over your own shoulders.
“Is she okay? She’s rather quiet.” Ada commented from next to you, expression just as troubled as yours.
“Yeah. Just tired i guess, todays not a particular day to be excited for.”
“Fair enough.” She shrugged before changing the subject, however your focus was on the fact that Guro was taking a bit too long for your liking, peering at the door every time you stopped talking.
“Excuse me, sorry.” You interrupted, hands surrendered as you caved in to go find Guro, grimacing at your impoliteness.
“It’s okay.”
After 5 minutes of analysing the whole hotel for your where’s wally girlfriend, you found her slumped over yours and hers bag with your wash kit in her hands.
You cleared your throat at her as she didn’t notice your presence, continuing to search through your belongings.
“Hey.”
“You scared me.” She whipped her head up to face you, hand on her heart.
“What are you doing looking through my stuff, missus?” You tried to interrogate, although your smile broke at your girls pout.
“You don’t have any throat lozenges?” She whined, sniffling in the moment also.
“Well.. i didn’t plan on having a cold unlike someone, no i don’t.” You crouched down beside her as you sympathised, pressing a kiss to her cheek as you took your stuff back in your possession. “I could go ask if anyone else has any?”
“No! I’m fine, i can withdo.”
“Kay, we can get some at the airport when we get there, that is if you still want them.” You negotiated whilst zipping your bag back up before standing up straight, reaching both hands out to offer Guro help to her feet.
She nodded as she brushed out her tracksuit before she collapsed into you, moaning as she buried her head in your chest.
You sighed as she clung on to you, arms securely wrapped round her shoulders whilst you nuzzled your lips against the crown of her head, before spotting your teammates making their way to you out of the corner of your eye.
“I think we’re leaving now, you alright to carry your bags?” You unwrapped your arms from around her although she stayed kept, moving her head to face the other side of you to avoid your teams stare.
“Mhm.”
“Come on, elsker fugler, we’re going to the world cup!” You heard the voice of another Guro as she wrapped her arms around you both, squeezing you all into a tight hug.
Once you were all on the coach to the airport, Guro’s spirits were lifted slightly as you all joked around at the back of the bus, laughing at ada’s misfortunes.
However you could tell she was getting irritated whenever she sniffled, the wheeze appearing whenever she laughed and the clearing of her throat made her wince. It was definitely not what she needed whilst travelling to such an important tournament.
The bus all calmed down after a while, hushed conversations between each other as you felt Guro’s weight fall onto you, bit by bit.
She kept making noises with her throat, trying desperately to cover up a cough that was brewing and you leant towards your bag at the sign, retrieving a water bottle you had filled up for her and placing it in her lap.
She sipped at if for a few minutes before planting it on the table in front of her, ultimately to lay her head down in your lap and lay across the seats in between you and ada.
“Comfy, Guro?” Ada joked, patting her leg as she raised an eyebrow at the koala type attitude.
“Ja.”
“You guys are sick, some people are still single here.” Another one of your teammates who was opposite you, exaggerated.
“You can lay down on my lap too if you’d like?” You quipped back, a smirk on your face as you plaited a strand of your girlfriends hair.
Guro was properly asleep by the time your arrived at the airport, you hated to disturb her as she got the opportunity for a slither of peace, and you knew this flight would be horrific.
You gently stroked her cheek as you ducked your head, hair hiding you both from your friends, before you lightly shook her shoulder.
“Kjære..”
“I think sleeping made it worse.” Her eyes watered as she spoke, heavily congested. You cringed at her lack of voice.
“Come on, the quicker we do it the quicker we can relax.” You bargained knowing that the airport process was going to be long and sore.
The check in and security was tough, not only were the queue’s about the length of a car park but you also had a half asleep adult figure leaning against you at every stand still and by the time you were in the duty free area, you were sweating, fanning your passport across your face whereas Guro shivered next to you, passing her your stray hoodie to cover herself up with.
Before your gate was called, you had managed to get some things for the journey, some to help with her cold and some food to snack on. You also had managed to find her only bearable flavour of a throat sweet too.
“Look what i found.” You announced as you returned to her, whom was snuggled up on one of the uncomfortable airport chairs by the gate.
She slowly looked up underneath hooded eyes, finding you with the desired medicated sweet which put a relieved smile on her face.
She held her hand out for the packet, however you began to open it yourself. She furrowed her eyebrows as you did so, seeing you only take one out and placed it in her hand.
“Why can’t i have the whole packet?” She questioned as she laid her hand in her lap, the little packaged sweet still there.
“Because, Guro… I know what you’re like with them, you’ll eat them like they’re normal candy.” You told the truth, in the past you had always left a packet on her bedside table and by the time you went to check on her next, the whole packet was ripped up.
“No.”
“No?” You shook your head in disbelief. “Just eat that one.”
“Fine.”
You boarded the plane with her hand in yours and luckily you were sat next to each other. Letting her have the window seat you allowed her in first, passing her things from inside your bag before lifting it up in the overhead carrier.
During those few seconds, your girlfriend had managed to find the wanted packet again, plopping another one in her mouth as she watched what you were doing.
You slammed shut the cupboard before shuffling in, almost sensing what Guro had done with the look on her face. She gave it away by continuing to suck on it, yourself raising an eyebrow as she gave you a guilty look.
“Gu, what did i say? You’ll make it worse.” You sternly let out, expression coaxed in a serious manner.
“But it helps.”
“Well, don’t moan at me later when you can’t feel your mouth.”
The whole flight was tiring to Dubai, although unable to actually suppress that feeling by trying to get to sleep as Guro did perfectly next to you.
Arriving at the hotel for the night, she insisted that she wanted to stay in your room and sleep rather than go down for dinner and you left her be, confirming that she’ll be okay on her own.
You brought her up some food when you were finished and she nibbled at it, sat crossed legged on the bed as you got ready for the night.
“Guro, you need to eat, you barely touched the plane food.”
“I am eating.” She held up the piece of bread she was picking apart, not making an effort to look at you.
“Please, for me. A little more?” You perched on the end of her bed, pushing the plate a bit closer to encourage her.
“Not hungry.” She squeaked as she pushed it back, crumbs falling into her lap as she focused her attention back on her piece of bread.
“Guro.. if you don’t eat a third of that plate i will tell Hege that you can’t play on thursday.”
“You dont mean that.” Her eyes snapped up to yours, voice small as she froze.
“Want to find out? Eat.”
She managed to do what you asked, even if she ignored you with a pout on her face afterwards you could rest easier knowing that she’s got a partially full stomach.
The flight to New Zealand was better than the previous, you had managed to sleep a few hours of it no matter how many times Guro sneezed and sniffled next to you.
You got off the plane with the dedication of getting to your next destination, wanting to finally be over with the travelling and to relax with your Guro by yourselves for as long as possible.
Hood up and bags under your eyes you paved your way through the airport control, the repetition of the same process made you agitated and the slow rounding of the carousel locked your jaw.
“Guro, i swear.. stop sniffling and go blow your nose.” You spoke through gritted teeth, finger and thumb pinching your nose before rubbing your hand down your face.
“I don’t have any tissues, i can’t.” Her voice was hoarse as she shrugged you off, arms crossed as her eyes turned square by the constant circling of suitcases.
“Go to the bathroom and do it then, it’s annoying me.”
“Sorry that i’m sick, can’t really help it.” She spat.
“Wow you finally admit that?” You mention, scoffing as she rolled her eyes and moved away.
You sighed as you stared at her back, trudging towards where you told her to go, nearly missing one of the suitcases as suddenly everything progressed a bit faster.
She ignored you once again, both of you too stubborn to say anything to each other as you sat on the coach to go to your final hotel, cringing at every sniffle you heard again and again.
She split from you as soon as she got through the doors and you found that you weren’t rooming with her, instead you all had your own rooms which you didn’t know how to feel about.
Guro had finally gave in from the radio silence the morning after, clinging to you the whole off day, not bothering to go and explore auckland straight away and rather cuddled in her room, watching some random movie that was on the one of the Kiwi channels.
She had kept reassuring you that she was feeling better, putting on a brave face whenever there was a training session but you kept an eye on her and you could clearly tell she was lying, although you didn’t mention anything and carried on like normal because you didn’t need another dispute.
When the time came for the opening game against New Zealand, it was obvious that Guro would be apart of the starting line up and, thinking about the team, you weren’t sure whether you should say something about her illness.
She was white as a ghost and you weren’t the only one who noticed, Ada making eye contact with you from across the changing room as she nodded towards the girl next to you.
You shrugged in reply before tugging on your training top before you scanned your eyes over your girlfriends stance once again before realising she was struggling.
“Stop, let me do it.” You tapped the bench next to you as she sat upright, lifting her feet in front of you so you could tie her laces.
“You can’t play, Kjære.” You mumbled as you knotted up her other lace, not bothering to look at her.
“What do you mean?”
“What do you think i mean? Your sick and your not fit enough to play to your usual standards.”
“Bullshit. You can’t make every decision for me. I am my own person, by the way, you don’t know what i’m feeling only i do and i can assure you; i’m fine. Stop telling me what i can and can’t do!” She stood up and shuffled away from you, face fallen with betrayal.
“Guro, i’m saying what’s best for you and the team..” You looked around the room, hoping that you’re not causing a scene. You didn’t need any more added to the pre game nerves.
“I. can. play.” She leant closer to you as she hissed her words out and you stared at her with no emotion, letting out a huff of air as she left you.
During the warm up, you were split from Guro, not bothering to make an effort to even check on her. You knew what you were saying was right which meant you didn’t feel any guilt for trying to stop her being apart of the match, if she wanted to suffer that was on her.
Maren grabbed your arm in the tunnel as you made your way back, twisting towards her, confused.
“She can’t play.”
“I know, Maren, but i can’t do much about it. I’ve already tried.. you could try but she won’t listen to you. She’s adamant she’s fit to start.” You bit your lip as you shrugged, picking at the sleeve of your under layer.
“She’s may cost us the game if she doesn’t perform, it could affect her for the rest of the tournament.” Your captain exasperated, eyes full of concern for how this game is going to go.
“And i don’t know what to do to change her mind, i’m sorry.”
“No, im sorry i know you cant do everything. At least you had a go, we all know how stubborn she is.” She sighed as she focused on how tired you were, bringing you into her arms before guiding you further towards the changing room.
“I only care about her and she doesn’t like that or seem to appreciate it..”
You both came to a stand outside and you sighed once more.
“Hey.. she’ll realise it sooner rather than later, with the amount of times i’ve seen you do things for her these past couple of days, she’s bound to.”
You simply nodded before pushing the door open, catching Guro’s attention before she whipped her head back.
The game was shocking to say and you ran after the ball with your mouth half open as you tried to come to terms how horribly you were all playing, not just Guro.
There was no midfield during the game, at least if felt like it, and your legs were horrifically numb, you could barely feel the ball at your feet.
You still had a few chances, a few chances that were either missed or way off target. The whole team was in shambles against a low level team and it was embarrassing to start a major tournament like so.
Every shot that came off the forwards feet made you hold your breath for as long as it took, groaning when you watched it fly completely out the stadium.
Your weakness grew the whole game and New Zealand took advantage to that at the beginning of the first half, scoring the first goal of the world cup.
From that, it just kept going downhill even if you were higher in possession it didn’t work.
Once the subs came on it felt a bit lighter, the shots finally becoming on target but always saved and booted away.
You witness Guro trying her hardest and your heart still cracked at her disappointment every time she missed, shaking your head at the failed opportunities.
Once the penalty was given for the ferns the faces of all your teammates dropped lower, including the ones on the bench. It couldn’t get worse for this prolific Norway team.
The deep sigh of relief was visible when Ria missed, head down in shame for just conceding the penalty.
It was like the team came to life after that, as much as they could, and were attacking hard. Almost like everyone snapped back to reality to realise this is the world cup, not a friendly.
The ball hit your foot at one point, running down the wing, shoulder to shoulder with a defender and managing to push her aside innocently and make the cross.
Ada, unselfishly, passed it to Guro beside her who comically missed the open sitter before falling to the floor in incredulity.
Your hands flew to your head, audibly expressing your annoyance before you bent down to sort your socks out.
The frustration was seen in all your teammates eyes as the final whistle was blown, your own glazed over.
You saw Guro glance at you culpably, biting the inside of her cheek as she didn’t know whether to approach you once you shook the last Kiwi players hand.
Hege didn’t bother to do a team debrief circle, seeming as most of them were hiding themselves from the embarrassment and fleeing to the tunnel.
You flopped into your locker, head leant back against it as you closed your eyes, keeping the emotion at bay for the meanwhile.
A few of the girls, upon arrival, clapped your shoulder as you changed your position to lean your elbows on your knees, hands covering your face.
Hege came in to do her scolding speech and you didn’t notice your girlfriends absence until after, searching around the room for the brunette.
“Where’s Gu?” You asked Emilie, panicked as she shrugged in reply.
You got up and rushed to the bathroom, checking the toilets and the showers to find that she is most definitely not in the changing room and by herself somewhere in the stadium.
You ignored the looks you got as you rushed from one side of the room to the other, slamming open the door and trailing away from the pitch entrance, seeming as there was still attendance out there.
Rounding the corner you found her on the floor, back against the wall with her knees up to her chest, staring at the wall in front of her.
“Guro! Der er du, jeg var bekymret.” Guro! There you are, i was worried.
“Like you always are.” She whispered, almost to herself rather than directly to you as she pursed her lips.
“I have to be, i’m your girlfriend and jeg elsker deg.”
You shuffled over to her and crouched down beside her, placing a hand on her knee for comfort and also to support your from falling backwards.
“I love you too, i’m sorry. I should have done what you said, i shouldn’t have played.” Her gaze turned to upon you, a single tear falling down her cheek and you quickly wiped it away before sitting down next to her.
“Elskede.. it doesn’t matter whether you played or not, we were all shit. I was wrong for telling you what to do, i don’t mean to come off as controlling.”
“You’re not controlling, as you said; you just wanted what was best, i won’t hold you to that title.” She whispered before sniffling, again, and resting her head on your shoulder.
“I just worry about you, i always will in sickness and in health.” You took her hand in yours and squeezed it with both hands, bringing them up to your lips.
“We’re not married though, so..” She joked, the small huff of a laugh escaping the back of her throat.
“Not yet, in the future though but that rule counted from when we started dating. I’d do anything for you.”
“jeg elsker deg så mye.” I love you so much. Guro pouted a smile as she brought her head up to face you, rather close.
“Can i kiss you, it feels like forever since we last did.” You muttered, your hand crawling from her neck to her cheek as your eyes fluttered to her lips.
“I don’t want you to catch anything.. but please, if you really want to.”

Secrets • Guro Reiten
Tumblr media
You were never the best at keeping secrets, always accidentally spilling something you weren’t meant to or telling someone because the urge was just too much. But this time round you were pretty good at staying quiet.
A secret of 4 months, dating, flirting and a handful of firsts. Your relationship with Guro was kept quiet as you settled in together, wanting to make sure this was the right decision before telling anyone else.
You woke up with the sun creeping through the blind and hitting your eyes.
Groaning, you rolled over and tucked yourself into Guro’s chest, managing to get another half hour of sleep before it was time to wake up for the day.
She kissed you gently, the way you loved to wake up most. “Y/N” She kissed you again. “It’s 7”
You grumbled into her. “Five more minutes” Your arm slipped around her waist to stop her from leaving the bed. “I’m warm in here”
Guro giggled softly, rubbing your sides and watching you as you slept.
The 5 minutes passed and she reminded you that it was now time to wake, otherwise you’d be late to training and it would look suspicious if the both of you were late.
Of course though, typically, that is what had happened on this morning.
You had fallen back asleep whilst she had gotten into the shower, hurrying around once she’d come back into the room.
-
You scurried behind Guro into the locker room, a few funny looks being thrown around as you look only half put together.
“Your late.” Millie smirks. “Both of you.” She raises an eyebrow.
“Guro gave me a lift but she just woke up late.” You blurted out, not really thinking through what you meant.
You hear her scoff slightly, choosing to ignore her reaction and sit down in your cubby, starting to change for the training session.
“Y/N?”
You look up and smile at Erin.
“You have a little… mark.”
Your eyes go wide and you turn to look in the mirror.
The big purple mark on your chest… all 4 of them.

meet by chance ・❥・ g. reiten
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: guro reiten x reader
summary: you never expected to run into guro, well knowing the chances of meeting you did, however off the pitch, you didn’t think it would be this quick.
part two of here
⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯ ⋆✦⋆ ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯
you finished training a while ago, now here you are in the locker room with your damp hair. you were just wearing a sports bra, and a black high waist trousers.
“you haven’t finished getting changed, mate.” katie said, throwing you the black turtle neck you had put on your kit bag.
“thanks, cap.” you said, throwing on the turtle neck ignoring the way you had gotten a notification from instagram.
“will you join us for lunch?” caitlin asked, taking a glance at you, the young irish defender. katie hummed, giving you a nod agreeing with the aussie.
“sure, why not—it’s not like i have anything better to do.” you said, quickly wearing the black button up coat as it was a bit cold
“lets go, then.” caitlin said, grabbing her kit bag. you grabbed yours as well, as you all headed to the car, a small conversation was engaged.
“still won’t tell me who gave you those?” katie said, as you groaned at her behavior. caitlin just laughed at your misery.
“i won’t, no matter how many times you ask.” you said, opening the trunk placing your kit bag first. the other two gently placed theirs, as you closed the door when they were done.
“oh, come on l/n. how bad can it be, it’s not like it’s a chelsea player.” katie said, as you ignored her. oh, how spot on your captain was.
you entered the driver’s seat, igniting the car as katie took the back seat. caitlin had the aux cord, plugging her phone in as she played strawberry kisses by nikki webster. what can you say, it’s a very good song.
“i’ve been missing your strawberry kisses.” caitlin sang, as you focused on the road. you already had the coordinates, as you simply followed what google map had led you to.
“cuz nothing’s as sweet.” katie continued, as you tapped your fingers against the driving wheel.
the drive to the cafe wasn’t that far, you were the last one to exit out of the car. the other two were the first ones to go inside, claiming a table.
you entered the building, not noticing a certain norwegian take a glance at you. why hadn’t she noticed that you were a footballer as well—not to mention an arsenal player as well.
you took the seat in front of caitlin, katie who was beside her handed you the menu.
“i’ll have a grilled panini.” you told them, returning the menu before taking out your phone. you had accidentally clicked on a notification, it lead to an instagram notification.
greiten has followed you.
“holy shit-“ you said, katie furrowing her eyebrows as her conversation with caitlin had came to a stop. the aussie looked at you confused but held concern.
“i said that out loud, didn’t i?” you asked, as katie chuckled. caitlin just gave you a nod, as you winced.
“i’ll just use the restroom.” you stood up heading to the restroom, not noticing a certain person following you. someone you hoped to avoid, but it was practically inevitable.
“so, y/n.” you paused before turning around to see guro, you took note of the clothes she was wearing. it was yours, she gave you a soft look as you avoided her gaze looking at the wall.
“guro.” you simply said, looking at your watch not noticing how she approached you. her hands were holding your hips, pulling you closer to her as you used your hands to steady yourself.
“you forgot to mention that you weren’t just an arsenal supporter.” the thick norweigan accent was noticeable, as you simply flushed at the close proximity.
“well, it didn’t really come up.” you hummed, knowing how she only thought of you as an arsenal supporter but never a fan.
“touché, what do we do now?” she asked, her eyes glanced at your lips.
“what do you want?” you asked, making sure you weren’t overstepping her boundaries.
“i’d like to take you out on a date.” your eyes widened, as she gave you a lopsided grin. you chuckled at her words, before giving her a nod.
“you know y/n, you’re so cute when you’re all flustered.” you shoved her as she laughed at your reaction. you gave her a soft look, as she gazed at your lips again.
“well, now that i’ve seen you. i have to go or else i’ll be late for my training.” you nodded, but she still had her eyes on you.
“no, goodbye kiss?” you joked, as she gave you a small smirk.
she tugged at your hands, guiding you closer to her as she pressed her forehead against yours.
“should i?” she hummed in amusement, as she watched you blushed under her attention.
“i don’t know, reiten. usually this is the part where you’re supposed to kiss me.” you said, giving her a look as she gave you a tender, yet sweet kiss on the lips.
you wrapped your arms around her neck, as she held your waist. it was like you felt your blood rushing through your veins.
guro pulled away as she looked back at you, you were breathless.
“i’ll see you later, y/n.” guro gave you a gummy smile, to which you softly nodded to.
let’s just say, the date went well. you both proceeded to go on dates, and kept it a secret from your teammates.
the day she asked you to be her girlfriend, she made you paper flowers, as well as a handwritten letter. you always wanted to experience the cliche parts in love, so she wrote on a sticky note, will you be my girlfriend?
there was two boxes below, one with yes and one with a no. you obviously checked the one that said yes, and that marked you both official a couple.
pt 3 coming soon

Nobody Else - Guro Reiten x Reader
It's been a while. Sorry. I've got a new job and been studying a lot so haven't had time to write, but I'm getting used to juggling everything so should be okay now. Thank you for your patience! I'll hopefully get to everyone's requests soon, but I thought I'd get something I wanted to write out in the world first. Hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
You were awful at coming up with dates. That was always Guro’s forte. She always knew the best places to eat, and the best activities to do, and was the best planner. You, on the other hand, liked to leave her to it. Guro loved coming up with dates for the both of you, and you were happy going along with her for anything and everything. That was until your two-year anniversary. The perfect idea came to mind of you actually organising a date. It was hard because you hadn’t needed to plan a date for those two years. It would be special if you did something. It would be unexpected and you knew that Guro would love it.
You quickly realised how hard it was to come up with a perfect date. How did Guro make it look so easy?
Fancy restaurant? The anniversary was on a Saturday and waiting until the last minute to plan something might not have been the best idea. So you had to scrap that idea. You didn’t know anyone who owned a restaurant like in films, so it was a no-go.
Maybe an activity like bowling or the cinema? As much as Guro would love that, maybe you should step it up a little as it’s the second anniversary.
You stayed lying on the floor of your and Guro’s flat. You were out of ideas already. The ceiling looked like a more interesting body of work than what you had going on in your mind. You were in such deep thought you hadn’t realised Guro had made her way into the flat from training and was staring at you from the other side of the living room. She assumed you had fallen asleep after a training session of your own that morning.
She moved closer to see your eyes open and your hands resting behind your head. Her eyebrows ruffled up as she placed her bag down next to you.
“Are you okay?” Guro smiled as your body startled up from its position.
“You scared the absolute shit out of me!” You held on to your heart dramatically as you sat up to have a good look at her, a smirk now on your face.
“Sorry. But seriously, are you okay?” Guro laughed this time.
“Yeah. I was just in my own world.” You laughed back as she joined you on the floor. Guro brought down the blanket placed on the sofa and wrapped it around the both of you. You pulled her closer to you, as Guro leaned in as much as she could into your warmth. These are the moments you cherished the most. Just you and Guro alone. And it was then that you decided that a date at home was perfect.
“You know for Saturday? You haven’t planned anything have you?” You wanted to check to make sure, in case Guro inevitably made plans.
“Um… no, not yet.” Her hand placed over your heart as half her body laid across yours. Guro’s face had tucked itself into your neck.
Before she could offer to plan something you jumped in, “Okay good because I thought I could do something for us.”
Guro’s head lifted up in surprise to see if you were serious, “Really?”
You chuckled at this, “Yeah. You always do it so it’s the least I could do.”
“Okay… I’m excited now.”
The both of you stayed on the floor for a while, talking about training at Chelsea and Arsenal respectively.
Saturday arrived and you were both up early ready for your games. Arsenal had an early kick-off against Reading, while Chelsea was at home to Aston Villa at 3. You knew you had time to prepare everything you needed for the date. You were excited, which didn’t go unnoticed by your team.
“You look happy. Excited to play Reading or something?” Caitlin teased you.
“It’s mine and Guro’s two-year anniversary.” You smiled up at Caitlin which she returned.
“What are you two doing for it?”
“I was going to cook her some dinner.” You hadn’t stopped smiling ever since you’d woken up with Guro buried in your side. Her soft snores were the only sound in the room. Your alarm had gone off which you quickly turned off, not wanting to disturb her sleep. She moved impossibly closer to your body and took a deep breath. It was impossible for you to leave that bed without feeling bad. The furrow in her eyebrows and the frown on her lips as you left the warm bed was enough to make you feel awful.
Lia walked over to you and Caitlin, overhearing the conversation, “Are you doing anything else?”
“Um… maybe watch a film. I was going to put the fire on outside on the balcony so we could roast some marshmallows. And watch the sun go down.” You shrugged towards Lia.
“That’s so cute.” Caitlin had sat down next to you as everyone was getting changed into their kits for the game. She bumped her shoulder gently against yours.
“Have you thought about maybe proposing to her?” Lia raised her eyebrows with a grin.
“I mean…” you stumbled over your words.
“Have you two talked about it?”
“Yeah. A few times. It’s something we both want.” Your hands started sweating slightly as you realised maybe Guro had been waiting for you to pop the question.
“You two have been together for two years now, it’s the perfect time to ask her,” Lia exclaimed.
“I’m not asking her without a ring. I’ll ask her on her birthday.” You shrugged it off again, you had planned tonight perfectly and needed to plan a proposal perfectly. That could wait.
“When is her birthday?” Caitlin asked.
“July.”
“That’s ages away! It’s literally November now.” Lia stressed to you.
“Fine. I’ll ask her on Christmas.” That seemed doable to you. It gave you time to pick out a ring.
“Please do because you two are perfect for each other,” Lia said. You smiled at the thought knowing there was no one else for you. You couldn’t wait for the game to end just so you could get home in time to watch her game.
——
The game ended with a win for Arsenal. A goal scored by you and an assist. 2-0. You were over the moon, but quickly got changed and almost ran home. You cursed yourself for not learning to drive. It was never something on your mind, you were perfectly fine with cycling and walking. Now seemed like the best time to drive so you could make it home in time to watch Guro play and prepare everything.
You’d turned the game on your laptop so you could watch the game in the kitchen while you prepare tea. Chelsea had played well and had won. You were happy for Guro but wanted Arsenal to win the league. Something you and Guro had many conversations about.
It took just over an hour for Guro to arrive back home. You had just finished draining the pasta when you heard the door close. You turned around in time to see Guro making her way into the kitchen with her classic big grin on her face. She walked up to you, kissing you slowly, her right hand holding your cheek.
“I’ve missed you. I couldn’t wait for the game to finish.” Guro smiled into the kiss. You placed the bowl of pasta down on the counter to hold Guro closer. Your hands snaked around her waist as hers went around your shoulders.
“Same. I’m making your favourite,” You smiled as she bit her lower lip in excitement. “Sit down. It’s literally done.”
You put the pasta and sauce on two plates and made your way over to the small dining table in the kitchen. You went back to collect the bottle of white wine and poured two glasses.
“Happy two-year anniversary to my favourite person in the world.” You raised your glass up towards her.
“Happy two years, baby. I hope you know you’re stuck with me.” She smiled as she did the same with her glass, staring at you with wonder in her eyes.
“I wouldn’t want it any other way.”
The both of you continued to finish the food. You left the dishes on the table, thinking to yourself that you’d wash them later. You held onto Guro’s hand and guided her out to the balcony where you’d placed pillows and blankets on the small outdoor sofa you owned, along with a small fire pit.
“I thought we could roast some marshmallows and look at the sun going down.” You held onto the pink packet of marshmallows with a blush creeping onto your cheeks as Guro offered you a cute look.
“This is one of the cutest things you’ve ever done. And you do a lot of cute things.” Guro sat down and covered herself with blankets. The London air wasn’t kind, it was a chilly evening but it wasn’t raining! And that was rare.
“I kept checking the weather over the last few days hoping and praying that it wouldn’t rain because otherwise, I’d be all out of ideas.”
“I take it back. You checking the weather constantly to make sure it wouldn’t rain is the cutest thing you’ve ever done.” Guro laughs as you set up the fire.
“You are so mean sometimes.”
Guro laughs again but leans over to kiss your pink cheek. You offer her a stick for her marshmallow as the fire blazed up.
“Are you warm enough? Do you want a coat or something? Or I can get your gloves and scarf?” You started panicking thinking your plan had gone awful as you felt her shiver next to you.
“Hey, calm down. The fire will warm us up. This is perfect.” Guro had placed her hands next to the fire to warm up her hands. She kissed your clothed shoulder and leaned her head there too. You kissed the crown of her head and leaned your head on hers.
The both of you warmed up after a while and started feeding each other marshmallows. After finishing the pack, you leaned back into the chair with Guro following your lead and resting her head on your chest, her legs swinging over yours.
“I love this. You’re quite good at planning dates.” Guro quietly said.
“You never told me how stressful it can be.”
Guro laughed gently, “It’s not stressful for me. I thought today was romantic.”
She kissed the underside of your jaw, gently nipping. Your hand moved from stroking her thigh to her cheek. You pressed a soft kiss to her lips, taking your time. The sky showed off every perfection in her face as the sun began to set; orange, yellow, and blue. Your hand traveled to the back of her head, burying your fingers in her hair, as she bit your lip and moved impossibly closer to you. You slowly pulled back from her lips, the vulnerability crossing her face whenever she was with you as if she gave her whole self to you and nothing else.
“I forgot to give you something. I got you a small present.” She kissed you again quickly as she got up off the chair.
“Now I feel bad because I didn’t get you anything.” Guro didn’t say anything as she went back into the flat, only to come back out two seconds later. She came out with her hands behind her back. You sat up in excitement.
“I knew exactly what I wanted to get you for our two-year anniversary for a while. You’re the only person for me, and I want to spend my life loving you and cherishing you. I was serious when I said you’re stuck with me.” Her arms returned to their normal position with a small red box in her right hand.
It hit you right then what she had. Guro always spoke like this so it was a surprise. She dropped down to one knee, her eyes cloudy and a tear streaming down her cheek. You, on the other hand, were a mess. You thought back on what Lia had said, but it didn’t matter now. The love of your life was in front of you, proposing.
“Will you do me the massive honour of marrying me?”
“Of course, I will!” You pulled your sleeve over your eyes to wipe the tears and stood up from the chair to face her. Guro placed the ring on your finger and jumped into your arms. The next part of the chapter for you two was just beginning and you couldn’t be happier to do life with anyone else.

Argument // Guro Reiten
Tumblr media
Guro came home from training not very happy. And as soon as she saw you she only got angrier. It wasn‘t because of you - it never was. But it was about you. She heard a few of the staff members talking about you or rather your relationship. "Guro doesn’t deserve Y/n" or "Y/n is way out of her league" and much more than that. It made her mad. How could they say these things?
When you gave her a kiss (like you always did when she comes home) she walked past you, ignoring you. She loved your kisses, she really did but not after she heard what she heard. "What‘s wrong, baby?" you asked - she just snapped. After that everything is a blur. You both said things you shouldn’t have said but the both of you couldn‘t stop and your argument only grew. Neither of you backed down. Normally, arguments never came this far because the two of you would communicate your feelings. But Guro felt trapped, trapped in the sentences the staff stated.
"Well then. Go! Go fuck someone else!" you shouted. "I will!" Guro grabbed her keys and stormed out of your apartment. "What?" you frooze, shocked. With all her anger she slammed the door.
You moved like someone was controlling you as you sat down. She wouldn‘t, would she? You couldn‘t think, couldn’t breathe, everything hurt. Tears ran down your cheeks yet you couldn‘t cry. The tears ran, nothing more.
When Guro left she didn‘t no where to go so she simply sat in her car. She had to calm down. Go fuck someone else - she would never. No matter how mad she was, she would never do something like that. She loved you. You were the love of her life. And she hurt you. This wasn‘t supposed to happen. When she heard the staff talking all she wanted to do was to come home and be with you. She would‘ve told you about her day and you would‘ve resured her that she was the only one. But as she saw you smiling her mind was thrown back to the staff. They were right. You deserved better.
Did you think that she‘s fucking someone else right in this moment? It was dark when she left the car, hours later, you were probably asleep - she hoped you would be. Quietly, she put her keys down and took her shoes off. As she went further into the apartment though she noticed the lights in the living room. There you were, sleeping on the couch, curled into a ball. Guro could see the tear stains which made her heart ache. She picked up in a bridal style and carried you to bed. The brunette wrapped the blanket around you, made sure you were comfortable before she laid down herself. She didn‘t know If she should cuddle you because how things ended earlier but she also couldn‘t sleep without holding you so she just did it. As soon as you felt her strong arms around you you were awake. You turned in her embrace to look at her. You had to know "Did you do it?" you whispered, your voice quivering. "No," she breathed. Relief washed over you "I sat in the car doing nothing" there was no reason not to believe her. Her voice was sincerely and you could tell when she was lying - which she wasn‘t. "I would never" the winger took your trembling hand and placed it on her chest, right above her heart. "Do you feel that?" her heart was racing, beating fast. You nodded. "It always does when you‘re around me" she kissed your forehead "i promise you’ll get a big apology and explanation in the morning but lets sleep now. I missed you so much today, min kjæreste" she pulled you closer, your neck resting in the crook of her neck, inhaling her scent. You had missed her too.
She still owed you an explanation but for now it was enough that she was with you.
"Jeg elsker deg"

Guro reiten x Italian reader who is taller than guro and make guro blush easily and both Guro and reader plays for chelsea?
blush. | Guro Reiten
Tumblr media
“Guro! What’s going on with you?”
Erin shouted as she witnessed her miss yet another easy goal in training, shaking her head in disbelief as Guro trailed back over with her head down.
“Are you okay?”
“Mhm, yep fine.” Guro lifted her face a little, her lips brushing her water bottle as she tried to get rid of the blush spread on her cheeks.
“Ah, i see. It’s because bella italia was in goal.” She peeked over Guro’s shoulder, watching you chat with Emily, raising her eyebrows as you briefly glanced over here too.
“Don’t call her after a restaurant.”
“It means beautiful Italy, it’s not just a food chain.”
“Well, that doesn’t make any sense.” She mumbled as she turned slightly, staring at the side of your face, admiring you.
“I see what you mean though, i knew Italians were good looking but she.. if you can pull her i’d be shocked.”
As dramatic as Guro normally was, she twisted towards Erin again with her mouth wide open later following with a scoff.
“That was rude.”
She took one last glance at you before walking back to the locker room, blush still tinting her cheeks, both with embarrassment and your affect.
She heard your voice as the door reopened, your eyes finding hers straight away while you continued chatting to Z before making your way to your locker which was next to hers.
Getting closer, you discretely splayed a hand against the small of her back before you sat yourself down on the bench.
Guro’s face brightening in colour once again, fiddling with whatever was in her locker as she tried to make the interaction as least noticeable to the others.
Seeming as you both haven’t revealed your little fling yet.
After taking off your cleats, you stood up once again, tugging your shirt over your head and adjusting your sports bra.
You could see Guro practically drooling beside you, deciding to carry on with the teasing as you undressed like you hadn’t noticed.
You grabbed your towel before looking at her after noticing that all of your other teammates were pretty much finished and out of the showers.
You bit your lip as your mind came up with ideas, leaning back on your locker as you stared at Guro’s face as she continued to undress much slower.
“Stop looking at me like that.”
“Like what?” You teased as you looked around the room, most of the girls facing away from you both so you reached a hand up to tuck her baby hairs back.
“Like you want to.. well what you normally look like when you want something.” She whispered as she plucked her towel from where it was hanging, her eyes dragging upwards to hold your gaze as you pushed yourself up straight before making your way towards the showers.
She checked around the locker room, seeing that everyone was just zipping up their bags before leaving. Leaving the two of you alone. In the showers. With benefits.
Guro hesitated, she wasn’t the kind to be so adventurous.
“I knew what you were doing earlier.” She let go of her towel she was holding around herself, before stepping into the shower next to yours, keeping her eyes on the wall.
“What was i doing, tesoro?” You smirked as you did the opposite, looking her up and down, checking her out.
“Distracting me. It wasn’t funny.” She blushed at your stare, looking up at you with a dazed look.
“Awh, bebè.. i was just doing my job..” You took her cheek in your hand after swiping your knuckles across her delicate skin, eyes darting around her face with lust. “Would you like me to make it up to you?”
