the founders of my clangen liveblog, GorseClan! this small clan previously existed as an unnamed group of cats, with reed as their leader. after too many predators (read: dogs) arriving on their lands beside twolegplace, the group traveled as one to find a new home. after arriving to the clans' lands, they settled in a clearing centered withing ancient stone architecture. these cats are all unrelated, but it doesn't stop them from caring for and about one another.

These are all very unfinished but a small summary of lore is that they’re Gorseclan, a more laid back, open borders group lead by Tansystar (2) before he was overthrown in a coup lead by Cootfoot (1) who then changed the direction of the clan functions to be more militant and aggressive towards outsiders
Tansystar dies early on in the story with a few loyal warriors during the coup lead by Cootfoot 😢but he’s important later thru visions and prophecies
Cootfoot is an extremely assertive and work-oriented cat and kills Tansystar to take over the clan and make it more of a force to be reckoned with when borders start shifting and important parts were being taken by other clans with no response from Tansystar. It’s been a couple moons since then and everything is just more strict, but running better. While even though fights cut down their numbers, the clan is on track to going back to usual.

Thunderstorm - 18 moons - Tom - Gorseclan
-Thunderstorm was named after his orange-like coat and sharp fierce eyes.
-He's the most mature out of his siblings, opting to keep things almost strictly professional when talking to others. He's not popular in the clan because of this, but most cats respect him for his undeniable skills.
-Thunderstorm secretly dreams of having kits one day, though his reluctance to find a mate will likely stop him.

They didn’t upload in order 😢 but anyways sometimes I enjoy just messing with clan generators !!! This one is Gorseclan and theyre a mainly laid-back, democratic, and friendly open borders clan that enjoys loners and kittypets that come to visit them !! Even with a small amount of pushback from a vocal minority of the clan and the open borders policy (main traction against these views are during leaf-bare) they all get along fine.
The only major change Gorseclan has compared to others is that deputies are elected by the warriors after a night of debate about their views and future plans when the former deputy dies/retires/becomes leader. Other than that the clan functions like most base clans.

Prologue
There were once four clans in the forest Honeyclan, Lupineclan, curlewclan and gorseclan
Honeyclan was always known to be the kindest of the clans which often drew the Ire of Gorseclan and Curlewclan who believed honeyclan was to soft for clan life one moon after a devastating fire in Honeyclans forest did the two clans come together to attack….the recent leader lost their final life in the fire briarStar and daisywillow had not yet gotten nine lives it was a massacre the leader of curlewclan eaglestar and the leader of gorseclan lavenderstar leading the assult most cats died in this massacre but starclan only intervened when hazelfern sacrificed her life to save the only other survivors of their clan Cloverpaw who was only apprenticed this moon and Dartkit seeing hazelferns care they gifted the she cat nine lives knowing they could allow Honeyclan to thrive and perhaps help the other clans too
After Hazelstar rose back from the dead a old caretaker apprentice appeared in front of the clans including lupineclan who just appeared to help honeyclan
You dare try to chase out a fellow clan? Honeyclan stays but if you ever dare to try this again then I will make sure prey stink you out of your camp the ghostly apprentice sticks their Tounge out before saying “honey can bind things together just as much as sap”
Just as if that never happened the ghostly apprentice disappeared the other clans left as the three survivors were left to rebuild
