2019 in a nutshell

So, it’s here. The final minutes of 2019 have passed and we just stepped into a whole new year, a whole new decade (at least in my time zone). This time, it really is a blank page. I won’t let the 2010s define the 2020s. I won’t let the horrible year this has been and all the bad memories it has produced get me down in the next decade. 

2019 was filled with tears and suffering, and even though I can’t say for sure that I’m completely ready for a new beginning, I’m almost there. I’m on my way to grow, to be a better person and to finally recover. I’m also going to try and be more active this coming year, so you’d be able to enjoy my content just again (I hope). 

To all the people whom I might have hurt this year: I’m honestly, terribly sorry. Please, forgive me for everything. I know I’ve been going through a lot of rough changes, sometimes causing to hurt the ones I love the most, but I can make it better, I promise. For real, this time.

However, 2019 hasn’t been entirely awful. And that is thanks to the following people who’ve always been there for me (for whatever reason, I really do wonder why sometimes):

@mahvericks Manon, sweetheart. I’m starting with you because you’re a real Queen and one of my bestest friends on this hellsite. Thank you for always being there for me, no matter what. 2019 didn’t treat either of us well, but I’m hoping the next decade is going to be filled with sunshine and laughter for you. Thank you for being my guardian angel, basically and calming me down or making me laugh right when I needed it. You’re filled with light and goodness, never let anyone or anything take that away from you.

@ironmandeficiency My Yeehaw Girl Jess. I know we haven’t spoken in a long-long time, but I’m hoping the end of the year wasn’t too bad. You have never failed to make me laugh and cheer me up, and I’ll forever be thankful for that. You’re such an icon, you deserve all the happiness in the world and I’m hoping you’re going to get it some time soon. Thank you for making my 2019 a better year simply by existing.
