I dont like thinking about it but every now and then i remember i have the mental capacity and the i dont really give a shit capacity to be very manipulative but i dont really have a reason to and in my head i can go like Well im a normal person why would i do such harmful things to my friends i care about them a lot but mannnn was i a wonder to be friends with when i was younger (Snake bitch max era) granted i had unmanaged anger issues and autism and i was being bullied at the time so i didnt have the best control over how to deal with relationships but goodness gracious

I’m just going update this - when I can. LOL daily is too hard. I tried la I tried. Maybe weekly updates? 

Anyway this week has been pretty okay. It’s already Friday. Monday was Labour Day so that cancelled 3/5 of my classes Y A Y. But it also increased my procrastination and it’s been just really hard getting back into the flow of things.

We have officially moved out of our Airbnb! And our host was really nice to refund us the last couple of days. It wasn’t a huge amount, but still it was really nice of him to do so (he really didn’t have to!). The past week was us just getting more furniture, and we had the help of our neighbours as well. So we went around collecting furniture - got a free bed frame, and another bed frame with mattress as well as 6 chairs! It was all pretty good priced :-) Facebook Marketplace has been really useful. 

We also had our first movie here! We watched the Lion King on Monday with the neighbours after the move (after some really shit Japanese food). They wanted to take us to their usual place, but it was closed due to Labour Day. They wanted to watch a movie after so yeah why not. THE POPCORN HERE IS HUGE. LIKE H U G E. We couldn’t even finish 1/4 of it on our own. And there’s like liquid butter dispenser that you can use? It’s insane. 

Circle of life really - cause I realized halfway thru the movie that my first movie in the US/also of my life when I was about a year old, was also Lion King. And now my first movie here is also Lion King :-) pretty cool coincidence. 

Week 2 of lessons but goodness gracious, I do not understand bio/neuropsych at all, and I will have to probably approach the professor? But mannnn its really tough :-( I will get by somehow. There was an in-class discussion about an article, and I literally just kept quiet the whole time, with some random input here and there. 

Today was the first proper day of lectures with LEND! It was a lot easier to take in than I thought, and I’m really excited to be learning :-) There’s just so much useful information that I wish that I could just transfer back to Singapore. And like the opportunities/organizations for help as well. I think I just need to sort my life out and figure out how to work all these things. 

There was a School Psych welcome back to school dinner after at one of the prof’s house. Thanks Jade for the lift! And we just sat around and chatted with one another :-) It was really nice setting (also lots of cute babies!). And we were pretty much the babies of the house, seeing that there were the other two batches ahead of us as well - all in their practicums/internships. 

So yeah I will try to update more regularly (also insert pictures). But ... SIGH okay no excuses I will try.
