Favorite ship that you originally didn't care for (or perhaps hated)?

I wouldn’t say it’s a FAVE but I definitely was not a fan of Milo/Amanda (from MML) at first. Mostly because of the way Amanda treated him like a ticking time bomb all the time 😭 And basically excluded him from stuff bc she didn’t want Murphy’s Law to ruin her plans. Which like. I GET that. And a lot of it is bc she’s very meticulous with her planning. But there’s a very clear example of people who are chill with Murphy’s Law, even in situations where they’d rather avoid it (points at Melissa and Zack repeatedly).

BUT. I really love the slow transition from Amanda seeing Milo and running for the hills to her starting to accept that while Murphy’s Law is absolute chaos sometimes things work out for the better. Especially since Milo’s always so adaptable. And seeing Amanda actually NOTICE that about him and start to really respect him for that. Which eventually leads to her really admiring him and loving how spontaneous he is, which is the complete opposite of how she is. And eventually that develops into a full blown crush and it’s SO cute (and Milo clearly has a thing for her too!) I think the moment that really hammered it in for me was when Milo and Joni were getting a little too friendly and the instant Milo turned his back Amanda came charging over shouting HE’S MINE like that absolutely cracked me up lmao

Anyway long story short I didn’t like the ship bc Milo is baby and deserves the world but eventually Amanda realized that and now she’s on the Murphy train with everyone else

I think that the hurt and the pain that he feels is the same hurt and from the rejection his mother rejecting him is the same thing that Rory probably felt with Christopher when when you know they he decided to go off to California or wherever he went, you know what I mean. anyways the main character is named milo & indeed the creator(s) / actors / writers troy joseph & tim were involved in the production at all: tim at least by being the first step in doug jones's casting by reaching out directly (online), but troy & joseph also via Some writing, like in that slender game sequel also: not the Primary creators / writers, but still officially involved in the creative process at all. & i knew of them & they knew of me by this time & in a [source: dude just trust me] style of way, i, a tumblr user, am like "i think milo alwayswatching Could be named after me, milo unproduciblesmackdown. lol." b/c also like yeah i can take it on the chin if it's a coincidence, which is also likely. great name & it's just not being used enough in fictional & nonfictional people's names. you might also be aware that some role in tribetweIve is named milo (maybe the main guy. i never watched it) so you might also speculate it's named after that guy, which seems plausible also, But: afaik there are no other similar plausible shoutouts at all, to that series or to emh which was just as majorly like One Of Those 3 Biggest Online Series. may or may not add a grain of salt to take it with. like my own "of course, there's a grain of salt in 'milo just like me milo, and Uncoincidentally?' b/c how wouldn't there be. a name people have"

I finished watching sabikui bisco a couple days ago and I straight up haven't stopped thinking about it since like sorry I had stopped watching five episodes to the end so I had missed the most of it but like seriously for real I'll never call anyone a disaster gay anymore unless they're milo I've had my hands in my hair about him the whole way through and ever since after that guy is A Mess. nearly risks death to try and keep bisco out of harm's way and the last thing he says before passing out from multiple stab wounds is a question about bisco's safety. through the fever haze has a nightmare in which he tries to reach bisco as he calls for him but never gets any closer, wakes up temporarily blind asking for bisco and only calms down when he has bisco's hand in his, immediately proceeds to try to set bisco up with his sister. declares his eternal love to bisco after he dies (the whole episode is called i love you???), has a whole identity crisis over his death where he takes on his name and starts acting like him, when he finds out bisco survived he lays on his naked chest just to hear bisco's heart beating (and his sister outright says he'd never speak to her ever again if she tried to intrude and interrupt him as he does so!!) and then right after tries to set up bisco with his sister again. just to proceed to leave his sister behind and run away with bisco pretty much immediately after talking about how he'd be sad if he were the only one to grow old between them. he straight up had bisco promise to never part from him again for the rest of their lives and he still insists on bisco marrying his sister. I read bisco actually does marry his sister in the second novel? Literally what in the whole hell is milo doing. Just what kind of reaction to gay thoughts panic is it to marry off your crush to your sister. just to latch onto him and steal him away right after anyway. I'm speechless. milo my man please sort yourself out

I love that after tens of thousands of years of evolution, domestication, and selective breeding, we're left with a creature who steals milkbones out of the cupboard and begs for cat food after getting his insulin shot. Great job humanity, no notes.
