Okay well. Uhm. Disclaimer I myself have not seen it in it's entirety so there's a chance I get stuff wrong

The 8 hour stream is George's longest stream he's ever done, it was Summer 2020 after an MCC (if I had to guess it was 7 but don't quote me on that) and George decided to continue streaming after. While doing that the topic of Dream never face revealing to George came up and so did George never saying I love you to Dream did, as it often did in 2020. They both started to get more upset as the conversation went on and it eventually became an argument. Dream specifically is especially cruel to George during this and face times (or at least pretends to) Sapnap to taunt him about it and Sapnap plays along calling him so handsome. Because Sapnap was there and he was way closer to Dream than he was with George at this time it also became a 2v1 against George.

On the flip side Dream was acting like this because it clearly hurt him how George refused to say I love you, even if it wasn't serious. It was smth Dream always teased him about especially in 2020 but you could tell it was really getting to him during this fight.

They decide to make a deal where if George looks into the camera and says "I love you, Dream" genuinley then Dream will FaceTime George for 5 minutes. However they never do this because Dream was convinced George would scam him. Dream also didn't think it was an equal trade because George "should be able to just say it" which George argued Dream should be able to just show his face.

Basically it was fighting over something that they personally were very insecure about at the time but they didn't see the other's struggle because it was easy for them. Dream never showed his face for a reason, and George has never been really comfortable saying ily outloud, despite it being normal for the other.

This was going on for hours until Dream got too frustrated and left the call. George spends a few minutes debating whether or not he should say it and then decides he will. He turns off his face cam and sets his game pov to third person. He also notes that Dream was still watching the stream so he knew that he would hear it. He then unironically struggles for like 5 minutes before finally saying "I love you, Dream" and he ends the stream.

So it's pretty traumatizing

Can I just say I really applaud the anons able to Both Sides the 8hr stream, that takes a level of maturity I won't have any age 60. I'll still be having Golo demons over it.

honestly I’m only being reasonable about it because my anons are like the golo demons it awoke in my the first time I saw it were so bad that i couldn’t watch dream for like 24 hours 😭😭 props to my anons though, it’s good to have nuance and critical thinking and because of that i was able to have nuance and critical thinking

finally someone who gets it. i am a dnfolo at heart i am obsessed with both of them equally it is difficult for me to pick a favorite. i have both drolo and golo demons at times they are constantly at war. they are both pathetic wet rats that i want to take care of to me.
