I live in PARADISE. It’s fresh and strong and clean and beautiful. Clean Beauty means so many things to me. It means pristine, respected, untouched beauty - in mother nature and in human nature. Last week I got to gather in person with Clean Beauty Advocates I “work with” online through @beautycounter, a #BetterBeauty brand I partnered with 3 years ago. Among so many other lovely experiences we hiked Buttermilk Falls and Treman Falls, both in the Finger Lakes area near my home. I literally FELL BACK IN LOVE with the Finger Lakes. It was fucking magical. This place is so special. This place IS MY HOME. I hadn’t hiked these hikes since I was a kid and with out of town folks it felt completely new again. Seeing waterfalls for me feels like what I imagine seeing boobs feels like to most cis dudes : “Yep I’ve seen a lot of em. Yep I wanna see more.” Nature’s glory and power is a driving force behind values I hold dear. Values that have shaped my life and businesses.
