Some humans are actually allergic to caffeine.
Not like their body naturally can’t handle it, but if you take antidepressants and lots of caffeine, you can get seretonin deficiency. Seretonin Deficiency is not commonly known about, but it is deadly. Now imagine aliens meet a crew member who DOES know this, and doesn’t drink lots of caffeine. Imagine the stress the aliens would feel upon learning this, so they frantically try to learn how many of their crew mates are on antidepressants to make sure they don’t drop dead randomly.
Edit: So, a couple of people are confused as to how this is real, and I think I’m gonna explain that now. So, basically, both antidepressants and caffeinated drinks boost your seretonin. Regularly taking both can give you too MUCH seretonin, and cause you to be imbalanced chemically. This can lead to manic episodes, extreme fatigue, insomnia, the works.
Now, as to how I know this. A while back I started exhibiting all the symptoms of seretonin deficiency, especially the insomnia. So, I drank a lot more tea (I hate coffee, it’s too bitter). Then my mother’s friend got put into the hospital for seretonin deficiency, and she told my mother right away because she knows that I was on antidepressants. So, my mom did research and found I had all the symptoms, so she made me stop drinking caffeine. I only drink 1-3 cups per week now, and I feel a lot better. Now, take this as a warning for all of your caffeine-addicted friends on antidepressants. Warn them about this and encourage them to do their own research, because this can result in death.

It feels really liberating seeing so many people giving me support instead of hate. A real breath of fresh air. Thanks to comments like yours it’s been easier for me to work on InkyMystery while I work on my own personal projects.
Not to info dump or anything but anytime I’d try to work on InkyMystery I’d get this fear that if I posted everyone would start hating me again, and start telling me horrible things. I’m getting over that now and the comments of people telling me “your art makes my day” or “I love your art so much.” , “your my favorite artist” , etc. have been my strength.

5 Things that make me happy ..? Alot but i'll sum it up ;
1. Art in general , it has been my special interest in quite some time , i think 8 ~ 10 years ..? My family and environment support this dear hobby of mine , and with art .. i can make anything come to life , y'know ? it's ... a simple but powerful talent to hold on to <3
2. Music , music all the way !! i sleep with music or ambiance playing to calm myself down , and when i draw , when i play games , i'd always ... ALWAYS have music with me
3. Everyone i've met and the people / things i cherish / look up to . Even though my insane brain brings obstacles like making off - putting scenarios of them , they make me happy ... like a seretonin in disguise ... it's the reason i look up to them and cherish them <3
4. All the nice things people say to me ...? It's hard to think of something , but all the nice words people say whether they know me or not has been the reason for me to keep going ... i don't want the atmosphere to be sentimental all of a sudden , but ... they encourage me to love what i love , draw what i want , and all those ... nice things . their words flow like a wind that pushes me to keep running for that dream , y'know ? <3
5. This sounds REALLY stupid , but you know what ? Yashio Rui and Morfonica . i don't think i would find true happiness if it weren't for them ... i've never been this active in consuming my interest , but in a way , monica crosses the line ... and the only thing i've been watching and listening to has been monica , monica , monica ... even the live - band !! i love them all very dearly , they've pulled me out of the dark hole that is my life . *they* are the ones that make me happiest , especially rui . i really don't know what and how fate decided she would be a character i cherish , i'm still looking for the answer ... but she's the one that makes me happy , and when i feel down , i'd kindly ask my friends to send me icons and pictures of rui , just her in general ... she brings comfort , and i genuinely don't know how and why , but it's alright cuz i love her and her band utmost dearly ... and now i'm rambling like some stupid millennial about their high - school days ...

Sleep deprived mind communicating with sleep deprived mind!!! Hi howdy I'm the Jhin anon again here to scream about the sketches. I got Covid for the first time yesterday and I've been miserable but oh my god the sketches are like buckets of seretonin! Your wonderful responses have given me enough confidence to come off of anon lol.
Again I agree with all of what you've said. I'm so very torn because I was a League player back in 2014 and then Arcane reawoke the love I had for the game. I thought Viktor was really cool in League, badass scientist dude! And then Arcane Viktor? I just wanna give him a hug and tell him he's gonna be okay. So I'm torn. I wanna see the Herald in all his power, but I also want Viktor to remain the absolute gem that he is.
I'm a Jhin main though, I love that angsty man. He's a fascinating character, a meticulous criminal psychopath who believes his victims are works of art. There's something about the dynamic of Jhin seeing Viktor as a work of art so priceless that he couldn't stand to kill him. And Viktor, recently struggling with the Hexcore and how he perceived Jayce's lack of understanding (refer to me crying at "Jayce will understand" followed by "I'm from the Undercity" scenes). Having Jhin by his side, admiring his work and seeing the shades of purple in Viktor's skin as splashes of watercolour rather then corruption by the Hexcore??? They could be good for each other, in their own anti-hero way.
I had to chuckle at the throuple idea with Jayce. I love Jayce, I think he's a bit of a dork (affectionately). It's likely that he'd be quite intimidated by Jhin.
Aaaaaaand again I'm just Unwell Essay Writing in your asks I'm so sorry 😂 if you do get the time, Jhin is a very complex character to look into. I hope you get some good sleep 🥰

I'm now very intrigued by Jhin and him thinking Viktor is a piece of art is very sweet! I'm looking forward to discover this character if he 'd show up in arcane!! :)
And I agree with you, Viktor must have lost so much trust in Jayce with this "they're dangerous" sentence. He thought their dream and goals were the same until this scene. I think Jayce managed to regain some trust at the end of the season (with his speech to the councilors) but I don't think Viktor would ever see Jayce as he used to (in the context that their divorce goes super slowly). Even if our dear Jayce gave independence to Zaun. i-i
It took me some time to appreciate this character, he is a little bit more complex to understand than the other ones. Most of the others champions have a clear motivation and path to follow while Jayce is a little bit different imo. In act 1 he is this clever young scientist who is risking everything to prove his theory and in the other acts he just say "yes" to everyone haha!
Sorry I'm talking a lot about Jayce (or Viktor) cause they're the only character that I know haha! I'm going to read Jhin lol's lore thanks to you!

Warren is a big cuddler.
i think a guy as insecure and needy as Warren absolutely loves physical contact, and if he’s in a relationship with someone, he’s going to make sure they’re in his arms as often as possible 🥺💖 he likes to coil around his significant other and engage them physically in simple, affirming motions, like playing with their hair or stroking their hands. this goes hand-in-hand with the idea that Warren is neurodivergent, as i think this could be a stimming behaviour ✨

if you’re in a relationship with Warren, be prepared for an incredible amount of PDA and excessive compliments while you’re in public. when Warren is in love, he is enamoured to a level that borderlines on the stalkerish, and he can’t resist bragging about you to everyone you come across. honestly, he has no qualms about groping you or giving you sly kisses when you’re not paying attention 😳

this is such a silly hc to have but i just find it really cute!! Warren is very ticklish and it’s a point of terrible insecurity for him. he’s perfectly fine touching other people without their permission, like putting his arm around them, but if you so much as brush your hand across his arm he’s going to dissolve into giggles - and get mad about it 😂 i think this would only be revealed to his significant other under threat of death, or discovered entirely on accident. Warren is very sensitive in general, and even though he talks a big game, i think he’d be weak for soft, gentle touches and physical affection.

When I saw todays CC theme, I ran to your inbox. HFY Steve is helping little Sarah with creating a crown for her mother, because "she is a queen and yet doesn't have any crowns" . DIY crown is made out of cardboard, glitter and rhinestones. Steve loves Sarah's idea - not only she is so cute and she loves her mom as much as Steve does, but also because now he "has to" gift his Queen matching with crown jewelry. Just, you know, with real gems 😈
Christmas countdown day 10 — help your child buy (or make) a gift for their parent
“Mama, you can’t look!” Sarah laughs, gleefully, as you’re led away from the office by Sunshine & Seretonin after being giving strict instructions to vacate.
“Alright, alright…” you sighed with a hidden smile. “Enjoy your special project.”
Sunshine & Serotonin and bristled past you, attempted to bristle past Bucky when he had grabbed her around the waist and pulled her back to his chest. She squeaked verbally, quite loudly, and braced her hands upon his chest.
“You have a mission, doll.” Bucky cupped her cheeks, teasing her with his eyes and voice. “Keep little miss Queenie-“
“-I will shove my foot so far down your throat-“ you threatened Bucky with a low grumble, clenching your hands.
“-away from here until I tell you.” Bucky had briefly side-eyed you with amusement, before he looked back at his girl. “Can you do that for me, doll?”
“I’m sure I can.” She smiled weak and pulled away, bashful when Bucky stole her back only to kiss her.
“Good, have fun.” Bucky had watched the two of you go on your way, waiting for the door to shut before he turned back to the table.
“Sarah, it looks great.” Bucky praised her, coming around the other side of her to hand her a new batch of coloured markers.
“Thank you, uncle Bucky!” Sarah beamed and reached for the light blue, uncapping it to draw a diamond on one of the peaks of the crown.
“Daddy said that if I draw it and give it to mama, that he would order matching jewelry.” Sarah was busy working, decorating the crown as immaculately as she possibly could, designing it with upmost love.
“That’s right, Sarah-bear.” Steve had bee busy cutting out pieces to attach to the front, only pausing to give her encouragement or to compliment her artwork. “You’re doing beautifully, baby. I’m so proud of you.”
“Thank you, daddy!” She smiled brightly. “Momma’s gonna love it!”

Music inspirations: A Road to Damascus (DK)
Self indulgent post incoming but I need to talk about the last time I felt this passionate about a musician/band (and yes it was over a decade ago) because I just rediscovered them and oh my gosh they are still giving me the strongest feeling of seretonin and I can sing along with almost all their songs !!! (until I stopped listening to them in 2014 since those songs I’ve only just heard now)
Let me introduce you to the danish band A Road To Damascus - a metal/rock/pop punk band I learned about when they played a local gig in my hometown - I fell in love with them from the moment I heard this one song (second below). No, actually I fell in love as soon as I saw the guitarist’s purple guitar x’D (I got to hold it afterwards :3). Since then I basically followed them around anywhere on their Danish tour, bought all their albums and merch, gifted them a piece of fanart (and got them to sign the copy for myself) and even was gifted back a sheet of chords (signed of course) so I could play their song live at an open mic event :’3 It got to a point that I was on first name basis with most of if not the entire band :’D
I’ve tried to find some of my favourite songs from each album (they don’t have a lot but it is worth checking out anyways) below :3
1) Sweetheart, 2010 (Pretty alright for first outing :3)
2) Head High, Hands Down, 2011 (aka the song that got me HOOKED)
