GUYS IM FREAKING OUT REMEMBER THE LINE THAT JON SAID THAT “Gertrude couldn’t fix the apocalypse because she was alone and didn’t have anyone she really cared about or trusted”????? Well she seems to really fucking care about (and is protective over) Gerry now???!?!?!? GERRY MIGHT BE HER REASON??!?!? (Also this could factor into why the Magnus institute successfully burnt down) I think this is so great for both of them omg!!! (Like Gerry is Happy and Gertrude is Protecting a Loved One) omg. Like in tma I feel like there relationship was more transactional and they saw each other as buisness partners but now Gerry calls her grandma??!??? Like Gerry has a good maternal figure in his life???!? Omg (also where did Mary go?? Was she killed?? Cuz I’m sure she still Did Shit. Is Gerry Free????) If they kill off or hurt Gerry I’m going to be so sad omg. Gerry finally has a chance at happiness and is does gurtrude. I feel like this relationship is something that can fill in so much of what they are both missing omg

Cuz Gerry is missing a maternal figure and someone who actually cares and will protect him and Gertrude is missing someone who she can genuinely trust and care about. Ahhhhhhhhh

Okay I did finish the episode now, and did not expect to have so many more things to say, because suddenly we get so much stuff in the last few minutes.

Not-Sasha's computers keep breaking, which is an utterly endearing piece of information. Can the horrors not interact with tech well. If Not-Sasha has been able to use the same skills as the old one (hacking 'n shit), does that mean she has access to her memories? Her skills? So that means Sasha is just being possessed, and no one is noticing anything off because the different voice is an indicator for the audience only, and otherwise the person is acting as she's always had? Bummer that we don't know Sasha well enough to figure out which it is.

Absolutely unshockingly, Jon found nothing much on Elias. While all the info he's found so far is not uninteresting, it doesn't really help paint a picture of the man, now does it. Man's got a total blank of a personality, so far, or at least that's about how much I can read about him.

Anyone else find it curious that positions within the archive seem to only ever switch upon death? Is the pension in the UK that awful, or is there something sinister afoot? Seriously, first Elias predecessor, then Gertrude, ... please don't tell me we'll only get new characters when the old cast dies off one by one. I am aware this is a horror podcast but the signs are currently pointing towards Sasha dying first on that account and I am not here for that, okay.

i’ve just finished season one of TMA, and being someone who’s okay with spoilers is fun because it means i can peruse the wiki and scroll through the tag and i get to become privy to all sorts of weird, wonderful, halfway-out-of-context information that i get to look forward to understanding in the future

I can never really stop thinking about how fortunate was during the mcr concert I went to. Got there in really good time, was the first to buy the boyzone shirt at that show, got a p good spot in the crowd, and got to meet Gway. Hell, I even got a photo with him.

Thank God it all turned out so well, bc only two days later I got really sick in covid, couldn't move, couldn't really talk, or stay awake, and became incredibly depressed. The only thing that got me through it was the fact that I had gotten to see them live and that I got to meet Gerard.

Don't know how to explain it, but it felt like a turning point.

Honestly I don't know why I expected this from a distinctly London podcast, but when I listened to The Magnus Archives and heard a name that sounded like Jared Key I expected it to be spelled Jared Key, not the absolutely demonic canonical concoction that is Gerard Keay

Remember when everyone thought they didn't want to come back remember when everyone thought it wasn't gonna be the same and the days of costumes and theatrics were long gone but they're still happening and now it's his choice...They're not bound to any concept or theme they're just doing this for fun they don't have to but they WANT to....They're having fun...
