very interesting how kujou sara, clorinde, and cyno are electro vision wielders who also are part of some variation of a state militia. it makes sense, i guess, since that would align with a conviction to 'eternity' - to ensuring the everlasting prosperity, reign, or values of said state.
but both kujou sara and cyno end up seeing the faults in the state and the corruption they end up condoning...so...i'm excited to see what clorinde is about to do.

GENSHIN 3.1 LIVESTREAM HIGHLIGHTS !
after regaining my sanity from watching the livestream, i decided to make a post on what to expect on the next update of genshin !! (redemption codes are at the bottom of the post)
NEW ARCHON QUEST + NEW AREA AND BOSS
not only will we be able to get the continuation of sumeru’s archon quest (act 3), we will also be able to unlock the desert area of sumeru with a new boss !
CHARACTER + WEAPON EVENT WISH BANNERS
phase 1 will contain cyno and venti with candace to be followed by nilou and albedo in phase 2
in version 3.1, of ballads and brews will be the main event in the update with 4 different games (autumn crisis, highwind trial, charity and creativity, and fecund blessings) with one of them giving you an opportunity to run a shop !

OTHERS
it’s also announced that there’ll be a collab between hoyoverse and ufotable as well as a new permanent gameplay which includes cards (can be obtained through gameplay (?))
there will be a chance for you to get collei from clearing spiral abyss’s floor 4 as well as an upcoming ost album which includes soundtracks from sumeru
there’ll also be an upcoming genshin concert during the update !

For those that wish to avoid spoilers, I am placing all info beneath this "Read more".
This summary does not include Redeem codes nor the specifics of new character talents, lore, or extra details of the events.

3.6 Banners:

3.6 new equipment:
-Jadefall's splendor:
--Five star catalyst weapon.
New artifact set:
-Nymph's dream:
--2pc: Hydro dmg bonus + 15%
--4 pc: After attacks hit enemies, a stacking buff will be triggered, increasing ATK% by a certain amount and Hydro damage by a different certain amount. Lasts for 8 seconds, and buffs triggered by different types of attacks exist separately.
-Vourukasha's Glow:
--2pc: HP +20%
--4pc: Increases elemental skill and elemental burst damages by 10%. After equipped character takes damage, damage bonus is increased to 80% for 5 seconds. Stacks five times, stacks' durations are counted individually. Effects can be triggered even when equipped character is off-field.
Quests:
-Baizhu Story Quest.
-Layla Hangout quest.
-Nahida's second Story Quest.
Events:
-Flagship Event: Akademiya Extravaganza. Features six different minigames from each darshan.
--Rtawahist: Star alignment minigame.
--Kshahrewar: Architecture focused minigame: Use as few pieces as possible to build a path according to certain requirements.
--Vahumana: Search for Relic Replicas in specific areas with a special gadget, and fend off interferences.
-- Haravatat: Listen to a story and ask questions in order to uncover the truth behind it.
--Spantamad: Combat centered minigame. Use specific buffs and potions to defeat enemies.
--Amurta: Control certain creatures according to "a certain rhythm".
Event grants a free Faruzan by the end, as well as Primogems and other materials.
-Fulminating Sandstorms: Help the people of Sumeru repel the Wenut via a cannon.
-Brewing Developments: A combat event with special buffs and conditions.
-Overflowing Mastery: Double drops in talent domains 3 times a day.
-The Recollector's Path: Help Sorush (New gadget/companion) continue it's training in various ways.
New Area:
-New desert area to the northwest of the Desert of Hadramaveth. Khaenri'ah emergence point/Abyssal suppression point.
New Enemies:
-The Iniquitous Baptist: New enemy that will use multiple elements in battle and create shields.
-New World Boss: Dragon of Virtue, Apep. Three phases, including a second phase where we protect the dragon.
-Anemo Hilichurl Rogue
-Hydro Hilichurl Rogue
-- Both Rogues are wanderers and do not belong to tribes, but may assist others.

Thoughts & theory on the 2.8 Lore Event “Hidden Strife” & the Diluc skin
(This is the official description of the outfit.)
So he doesn’t wear a vision, which was even pointed out in the stream for those might not have noticed aka it’s very important, and it’s for covert actions (...) dancing in the shadows.English is not my first language so I had to google that. Covert actions describe a secret action undertaken to influence the course of political events, as a government intelligence operation.
In the webtoon we find out that Diluc does work for an intelligence operation. I assume that the event will show us those times when said operation needs or wants to get intel and to what measures Diluc would go to obtain such information, going as far as to infilitrate them.
I think it’ll both shape Diluc more as a character and give us more of his story and what he currently does, next to patroling Mondstadt at night, as well as possibly be important for the main plot. With Yelan’s Story Quest indirectly involving Pierro and with Scaramouche and Sumeru drawing closer, it’s very likely the writers are trying to set up something in those regards. Maybe Diluc’s network is even the one other’s have gained intel from in the Story and he was the one who obtained it.
All in all, that’s what I think will probably happen in the event and how it’ll influence the main plot. I first thought it would be about his time during the 3-year Fatui rampage, but it would make no sense since we always play in the present due to the traveler having to be there.
