honestly

there's not much to say. just change your identification and persist in that by continue to be the person you want to be. do it now. there's only now and imagination.

I think the first Equestria Girls movie and Twilight's experience in the human world can be easily equated to how it feels to be neurodivergent in this world: Nothing makes sense, social rules don't make sense, people don't understand what you're trying to say when you speak, body feels weird, it's like you have to make an effort to move without looking clumsy and awkward, you do things in a way that seems weird or unconventional to others and get mocked/laughed at for it, worried that people won't accept the real you...

(I could equate Twilight here to how I was in school before I gradualy stopped being myself and became more quiet to avoid bullies, I learned there was something "wrong" with me and since hiding it didn't seem to work I just disappeared into my head and rarely ever spoke). People tend to be drawn to people that share the same interests, opinions, experiences or struggles, Twilight's first friend at the school was someone who shared her struggle of fitting in, and I think that's pretty neat :)

Well, that's that! ^^ This isn't me saying this is how the movie was intended to be viewed, but a reading of it from my perspective, my autistic perspective lol 💖 (my own personal headcanon is that all of the mane 6 are neurodivergent but I'm not gonna go on about that now or this post will be even longer)
