today marks the 27th day of Ramadan (depending on where you live and what calendar you follow it might be different) and I’m finally going to say it, it physically pains me how privileged I am right now, I’m fasting yet I can expect food at my table every night to break my fast, I have electricity to check prayer times, I have so many local mosques I can visit to pray and I have all my family here to celebrate with but millions of people in Palestine don’t, they’re struggling every night to scrap together a meal, they can’t afford to buy dates, dates! They’re the staple to any household in Ramadan if your not Muslim then it might be hard to understand just how significant they are to this time of the year. They can’t listen to the adhan (the call to prayer) because their mosques are destroyed, they can’t message family members to check on them because they have no electricity or to even cook, they’ve lost so many family members, some with only orphans remaining. guys I literally cannot stress enough how bad the situation there is, theyr facing a man-made famine as we speak, watch any recent video from Bisan if you have any doubt. keep donating and talking about this in the days leading up to Eid, and keep praying for them, keep donating in these last nights of Laylatul qadr and to those who still deny this gruesome genocide then please form a line as I shove my finger up yours

📹 A Palestinian father laments on his children's cries of starvation while peeling spoiled potatoes pulled from a garbage bin in the hopes of satisfying their hunger.

The Gaza Strip has been under siege for 150 days, with little to no food entering the enclave despite warehouses filled with humanitarian aid sitting on the Israeli and Egyptian sides of the border, held up by Zionist authorities and regulators who still refuse to clear the food and supplies for entrance into Gaza.

Earlier today, an attempted food drop by American forces missed their target and fell into the sea.

UN court ordered Israel to end Gaza famine, Hamas called for ceasefire

On Thursday, 28 March, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) unanimously ordered Israel to take all necessary and effective measures to ensure basic food supplies to the Palestinian population in Gaza and to stop a worsening famine.

The ICJ’s ruling is additional to the 26 January verdict, in which the court ordered Israel to take all possible measures to prevent acts of genocide against Palestinians in Gaza, preserve evidence and take urgent steps to provide humanitarian aid.

The court observes that Palestinians in Gaza are no longer facing only a risk of famine, but that famine is setting in.

The ruling came as Israeli forces and Palestinian militants engaged in close combat near Al-Shifa Hospital in the Gaza Strip, where Hamas and Islamic Jihad militias claimed they attacked Israeli soldiers and tanks with rockets and mortar fire.

The new measures were requested by South Africa as part of its accusations of Israeli “Gaza genocide”. A senior Hamas official Basem Naim stated that the solution did not go far enough and that Israel should be ordered to halt the military offensive to stop the suffering.

“We welcome any new demands to end this humanitarian tragedy in Gaza and especially in the northern Gaza Strip, but we hoped the court ordered a ceasefire as an absolute solution to all the miseries our people in Gaza are living through.”

With Ramadan of 2024 comes a huge responsibility on the shoulders of Muslims worldwide. This year we all have witnessed the most atrocious genocide of the century which still goes on as I type this. Gaza bleeds and people are dying of hunger each and every day. The least you can do for them is to change your iftar habits this year.

Keep your Suhoors and Iftars as simple as you can because there are people in the same world who don't even have a single morsel at their Suhoors and Iftars.

Keep on boycotting pro-Israeli products in your daily life.

Avoid throwing lavish iftar parties and attending big-fat iftar buffets because this is simply inhumane considering the mass starvation in Gaza.

Don't post videos or images of your iftar on your social media handles. In fact, for this month put a full stop to the food streaks because you can do without showing off your iftar preparations, but Gaza is battling for its survival.

Donate to Gaza as much as you can. Even the briefest of the amount makes a great difference to support them.

Pray for Gaza and Palestine in every single prayer. Prioritize praying for them before your own selves because at this point nothing is more significant, no wish, no desire nothing when compared to the trials of people in Gaza. Dua'as work like a miracle and we never know whose dua'a gets accepted.

PLEASE DON'T STOP TALKING ABOUT THEM, SHARING THEIR STORIES WITH THE WORLD, KEEP ON PROTESTING FOR THEIR RIGHTS, AND FOR THEIR LIFE BECAUSE THIS CAN SHAKE EVEN THE STRONGEST OF THE POLITICAL EMPIRES.
