GAIAMAMOO (Japan) Japanese music duo GAIAMAMOO offers textured, noisy theatrical music superimposed on the video projections, inspired by traditional Japanese pattern mixed with psychedelic art. Exploring of connection with match and mismatch between sounds and visual. Formed in 2012 by Shogo Haraguchi and Mehata Sentimental Legend from Tokyo. In 2015, GAIAMAMOO were chosen to perform on “New Sound Sanctuary" during the Sound Live Tokyo festival, organized by Pacific Basin Arts Communication (PARC). 亀山トリエンナーレ2017、いよいよ明日からスタート！今日は搬入日で全国からアーティストが集まりました。私は加藤家屋敷の若党部屋でビデオインスタレーションで作品「YOMEIRI」6分38��の作品です。メディアインタラクティブのように何も仕掛けはありませんが、コンセプトとして加藤家の家老と言う最高の地位にあった役職の歴史にちなんだ事を学びながら、悩みに悩み抜きまして、、今は亡き「月の庭」の岡田昌（舞踏家の歌舞伎昌三）の短編映画「恋慕」の相手役を演じたKeiko Imanishiさんに出演して頂きダークアンビエントにBCLラジオノイズを加え映像はジャパニーズホラーな作品になってしまってしまいました。昭和初期以降、現代のように恋愛で結婚できる事は、ほとんどなく父親や長男が娘の相手を決めたそうです。その苦悩から解放、決意に至る様子を映像で表現して見ました。残り少ない制作期間でしたが、悩み抜いて作りました。是非、亀山まで見に来て下さい。 PVは、1分間の動画です。
