there are multiple hit tweets and articles right now about that one cute moment (out of many!) from the puppy interview. it's a bit funny to witness, really: they move and everyone just swoons.

i might be exaggerating this a little, but i guess tomdaya in today's pop culture just encapsulates people's idea of the phrase "to love and be loved..." and that's why they've become so endeared to everyone. perhaps they remind people of how great that feeling is—of liking someone so much, of caring for them, of thinking about them and wanting to be close to them all the time—and how it becomes exponentially better when all that energy is reciprocated. 'i want to fall in love like that, but also, i want to be loved like that'. that sort of thing.

yeah, they're rich celebrities who don't work nine to five jobs like us and we literally only have a microscopic view of what their relationship really looks like, so one can potentially argue that most of this is people just buying into the fantasy. but it's still nice. it's nice to be reminded of love and the joy that comes with it. that however the fantasy is wrapped, you know there's something real and solid there because you've felt it, too. maybe this morning when you and your partner shared a laugh because of something stupid. or maybe even years ago when you were giddy with excitement with just the thought of texting with someone you just said goodbye to a few minutes before.

we've all been there in the trenches, as some would say. because love is just the most relatable feeling. love recognizes love. especially the joyful parts of it. and when you see it in others, you can't help but root for them, because no matter how dire and bleak everything looks right now, a part of you wants something that beautiful and wonderful and holy for yourself, too.

Why don’t you Tomdayas never defend Z against the attacks on her acting skills or from the bullying she receives from the incels on Twitter ? But are quick to defend her relationship with that twink who barely wanted to claim her publicly until last year ?

I guess it would be TN fightS about Z: the one that made N unfollow pages that posted Z on early July, the fight after N confronted T after he liked Zs InStyle cover (and she noticed Z had liked a Tom post too) and ended up with Tom reassuring N that it was nothing and he was fully committed, and the big one after Z liked Tom's "reassuring" N post. Extra credit if you include Ns conversation with her mom about T and when N mom remembered not only to unfollow T from ig, but also from twitter after T tweeted for the first time in months. Also would appreciate some Italian curse words to be added to Ns mom insults. Could end with Nikki taking out her diplomacy handbook for dealing with consequences of having an impulsive horny son

Ok so I want that first fight. You know it got back to her when he liked that post of law’s in early July. (Honestly the dramatic messy part of me wants to make Harry be the one to skip that in conversation). Insert N “I just think it’s funny how” him being like “it’s not a big deal” while packing to leave for Germany (is he already in Germany idk) her then back in London unfollowing every page that has even a hint of Z while bitching to that one random friend of that one twitter dude. She visits Tom around the time of the Emmy noms (creative liberties okay) and tries to present herself as the perfect golf wife. (We shall make her golf attire even less appropriate) he gets a notification of Z’s Emmy now while on the course with her. And you just see his smile light up. Cut to back at his rental and you do a shoot of N on the couch and T in the kitchen texting and smiling, uh oh phone rings, he whispers and walks out of the room. But you hear “I’m so proud of you”.

Ok now cut to things being thrown around the rental. “I know something’s going on I’m not stupid” vs. T ducking objects “are you crazy nothing is going on I just posted you on Instagram”

Next scene N leaving on a plane looking forlorn, not knowing this would be the last time they were together in person

Interesting tweet and quotes for it. I understand that among Tom's fans there are racists and people who just don't like Zendaya and Tomdaya's relationship (and the fandom itself). I can understand when someone doesn't like Sydney, thinks she's too hot for him, or doesn't see them together. But these quotes seem to me to show a lot how some will feel about Tom with another actress. We have discussed about antis and they are so easy to spot but what about the “tomdaya shippers” that always make “funny jokes” to bash on Tom and ship Z with others. What are they called? They are the ones that disguise themselves it seems. When they get called out for it they say it’s just a joke and that it’s harmless and they still ship tomdaya. But to me I can tell what their real intentions are. They didn’t do as much to JE even though they knew he did her dirty.

I just can never let how they turned on him go. It was ruthless. It boils my blood when I remember that week and the viral tweets about him to the point where he took a break and when he came to do press later he was insecure AF. They didn’t even have a good excuse for what they did, they didn’t have a proof that Tom did her dirty yet they threw him under the bus. I mean that tweet you linked is not bad. But generally speaking I get what you mean and whom you mean. I remember how those supposed tomdaya shippers immediately turned on T the moment JE was in picture and made “dwarf” jokes about Tom and called him a shrimp, and now they act like they love tomdaya again, but it is not genuine. They just act as if they are supportive for whoever she is with, but you can tell they don’t really care much for Tom (which is fine because I have never been a Z stan either and don’t care much about her individually either) but the bashing they did towards Tom and how they mocked his height and this and that the moment JE came into picture is not something I did for Z when they broke up. So yes, even though I don’t expect them to stan Tom, the ridiculing they did towards him during the time they were broken up showed their true colors, so nothing they say towards Tom or them as a couple seem genuine now. So, I just tune them out.
