Returning to Lunar Cove just in time for a full moon was either going to be a blessing or a curse, and Nico didn’t expect any middle ground between the two. He’d made his way through addressing the pack—picking up on a lot of eyebrows and speculation as he did. Although, it really didn’t go as badly as he’d feared, and there seemed to be more relief on faces than there was doubt about his abilities. That all could change in a moment once the moon rose, though. For so long now it had just been him and Esha, out alone and doing their best to manage the changes wherever they were—hiding in caves in national parks, sticking to the edges of small towns, and on more than one miserable occasion they’d had to make do with a fortified basement or cellar. He was glad those days were behind him, but if someone was going to test his strength as Alpha, he feared that tonight might be their opening.
But he remembered a lot of the routine his mother had drilled into him like it was yesterday. A good Alpha, she would say, doesn’t just concern herself with how the pack functions on a full moon, but also secures the area before they change, to make sure no one wanders where they shouldn’t. The pack runs were reserved for their use alone, but it was important to double-check the surrounding area just in case. With that in mind, he approved scouts to head out to the various borders of the runs, checking to make sure the trails were well and truly emptied. They’d reported back a few stragglers, escorted them out to safety. Now he was making his own rounds, skirting the edges of the woods with his senses sharp. He picked up a scent, and walked towards it, hands in his pockets and a smile on his face as he approached a figure turned away from him. “Hey, there. I’m a volunteer with the park staff. These trails are closed for the night, do you need help finding your way out?” he offered casually. His mother had always said it was fine to frighten them a bit if it got the job done, but Nico wanted to avoid that if he could. It always left a sour taste in his mouth.

“I think this might be a bad idea.” Dilan said as she tip toed into the water which was colder than she expected, she scrunched up her nose. “At least let me get the floaties. I mean I know we got to a decent place and all but you might still let me drown.” Dilan told her with her hands on her hips, she looked over at her bag which had the floating devices she’d got from Salty Surf before coming out here. While she figured Anna wouldn't actually let her drown, she had still solved the other woman off a stage in front of the whole town. "I think maybe we should just scratch this whole thing and try again oh I don't know in maybe a year or two." Dilan said aloud, proving even more so why she needed an accountability buddy. "Seriously I can just leave this on my list."

Dilan sat sipping the best champagne as she looked over at her two favorite bitches, in a way it was like looking at three generations of women, all from different mothers, but would end up the same. “Merry Bitchmas.” Dilan toasted. “I would have got you both additional gifts, but what do you get the two women who have everything? I mean I could have added another ring to Anna’s collection, but that seems lame.” She remarked with a smirk. “Also Meena the most I could give you is good PR, but no kissing of babies is really going to help with the reelection so.. I got you both this.” Snapping her fingers, as the carousel continued to move around, the waiters brought over two boxes. “I figured these would be suitable for you both.” She remarked as the two pink boxes were placed in front of Anna and Meena. Inside each box was a crown that had been made especially for each woman, with Meena’s dripping in diamonds and Anna’s with a mix of pearls and diamonds. “Now I’m sure one of your many engagements has got you a crown, but I figured it was the least I could do for shoving you off the stage. By the way how is the hip healing? Nothing broken right? I mean that life alert pin will bring I’m sure some lovely EMT’s your way.” She remarked with a smug expression before taking a drink from her glass. “Don’t say I never gave you both anything.”

Dilan had been driving around town doing her usually duties for her job when she noticed the dark hair she was looking for, rather than wait for another time Dilan turned the wheel and drove the pink Tesla up onto the sidewalk, blocking the other woman from going any further. Putting the car in park, she grabbed her headphones as she got out of the car. “Anna as you can see it was an emergency that I stop you.” She informed her as she gestured to the car then put in her headphones. Walking around the hood as she went towards Anna and she gave a smile. “I mean you can never be too careful with a siren can you.” Teasingly slightly even though there was truth to those words. Leaning back against her car as she looked over at the other woman. “So I’m not allowed to put on an only Dilan Christmas spectacular and I have to share the stage or something.” She remarked with a huff before she waved away the words with her hands. “Anyways rather than let an amateur sing with me, I decided to pick someone close to my level. So what do you saw, want to put on a Christmas show with me?”

When: The Blackout/Full Moon
Dilan knew better than to be out on a full moon, but the stupid faerie ring had turned into chaos with the blackout happened and the banshees were running loose. Somehow she’d got put on duty to help look for the lost banshees, even though she wasn’t exactly looking as much as driving around with her ear plugs in. Noticing a line of people walking towards the center of town and she followed them slowly from behind the wheel. Once she got to the point that she couldn’t go any further, Dilan put the electric car in park and got out.
Giving a sigh as she closed the door with her hip, she followed a random man who had been at the faerie ring along his journey. When Anna came into view she rolled her eyes and crossed her arms. Walking up to the other woman with her earplugs still in. “Well, I found you. Time to stop singing.” She informed her as she gestured to the ear plugs. “You realize you’re like as far from water as humanly possible right? I mean girl you might as well just went to Shadow Lake and chilled with the trash.” She remarked with a smirk. “Come on Ariel, let’s get you back to water before you die. I mean we’ve already got to find the damn banshees before they take themselves out.”
