Undertale Brittle: The Muffets

Undertale Brittle:
Queen of the Spiders, even if the power behind that title has faded over the years. She serves as a doctor in Hotland, creating medicine from Green Magic (Specialty: Item Creation) by mixing refined Green Magic with various other chemicals and substances. Was promised to King Asgore by as a political move by the previous King of Spiders. She has a long-standing affair with Grillby. Tired, but a socialite.
Underswap Brittle/Beam:
A young farmer who sees everyone she meets as an equal. Unable to read Lettering, she takes lessons (as a hobby) from an elderly fire elemental by the name of Grillby. She hopes to be one of the few Monsters who unlock Blue Magic so that she can understand the stories written in untranslated books. Friendly.
Underfell Brittle/Bright:
A nomadic merchant who serves as her group's appraiser. She considers herself to be necessary, and occasionally pushes her chores off on those who let her. Her group travels the Surface and makes frequent deals with both Humans and Monsters. Plays the fiddle when she feels like it, and not before. A free spirit.
Fellswap Brittle/Beeper:
The friendly and responsible eldest of the Spiders. Painfully oblivious to the effects she has on others, to the point that her cooking is inedible to anyone other than spiders. Unintentionally traumatizing, at times. Once dated Papyrus (Wysteria), but they left each other on amicable terms and treat the other as friends. Immune to poison. A bit clumsy.

Pictured also is Tuffet, Muffet's youngest sister. Bites, is venomous, and has yet to comprehend that not everything is food. Attempts to eat Muffet regularly. 5 months old. Immune to poison. Head empty.

Undertale Brittle Biephasic Terror:
An E-Girl streamer with a decent following. Has undergone various cosmetic procedures due to the new Humanization trend, including Arm Reduction, Eye Reduction, Eye Whitening, Chitin Softening, a full-bodied skin-colored tattoo, and the removal of her fangs. Wears a wig and contact lenses. Currently in a relationship with another influencer with a similar number of followers, but is looking to bump up her game with her boyfriend's brother, who manages a cosmetics line (or so he claims). Competitive.

New motors on my quad this is so exciting. I got Dshot 300 running, I know multishot would be better with my F3 board and these particular ESCs, however, I want that turtle mode and ESC beepers!

Uuugh, I feel sick.
I'm the damn author, and I just realized that I've mischaracterized and flattened every character I've let interact with the Multiverse.
Namely Vendetta.
If I'd have written him truthfully, I'd've gotten cancelled aready. Twice, many times. They would've invented a new social media to cancel me on.
I haven't even been canceled once. I am a fraud. I'm a fraud for watering them all down in their own ways to save my own ass. Smoothing their edges.
I'm aware that some people likely prefer them this way. As they are now, and how I've introduced them.
Too scared of what you think, I think.
But this really isn't them.
I can't keep censoring them.
Something hurts.
Some of them are just villains. I made them that way.
They are human.

February 1, 2024:
Wysteria gives the entity an odd look.
"Valentine's Day? Is that another Human holiday?"
It shrugs in response, doodling a picture of Beeper clawing at his bedroom walls in the corner of it's clipboard.
"Yeah. It's supposed to be a celebration of love, I think. Romance."
The skeleton rolls the name around his skull for a moment, something about it poking at his brain.
"This isn't some kind of ritual is it?"
"What?"
"Some kind of ritual. Like worship?"
"…What?"
The entity thought about it, discreetly looking into the thought. It blew a bit of air out of it's unseen mouth.
"It started that way, but it's just a funny thing, now. What made you think it was anything weird?"
Wysteria shrugs, turning his head to watch his brother shamble around in circles around the table in the Brittle Void. His expression doesn't move.
"The word just looked weird, the way it was written. I've also never seen anyone have the name Valentine--" He pauses, looking back at the entity. "Is that a common Human name?"
It shakes it's head.
"Nah. I don't personally know any Humans named Valentine, anyway."
Grotto taps it's clipboard with the pencil.
"So, you in? It's just supposed to be a silly popularity contest for the others to vote in."
Wysteria thinks about it, Beeper bumping gut-first into the table with a broken, phlegmy wheeze.
The lean skeleton nods.
"I'm not opposed to it. All in good fun, yeah?"
Grotto writes Wysteria's name down on the roster.

Fellswap Brittle: AU Introduction
The world of Fellswap Beeper is actually fairly small compared to other Brittle Universes.
The Monster population is stagnant-- everyone knows each other, or knows a guy who knows everyone. They all refer to each other by name and look at you funny if you refer to someone as "that one tailor" or "that guy". They don't see new faces often, but when they do, they typically get added into the fold fairly quickly (from both a Midwestern friendliness and chronic boredom).
Wysteria, Papyrus of Fellswap Brittle, is a hunter/trapper. He hunts animals in Snowdin both for food and for their fur-- the excess of which he trades with others for their own specialties. He cares for his brother and makes sure that he doesn't disappear too far. Extroverted and loves finding out about new experiences from others.
Beeper, Sans of Fellswap Brittle, lives with his brother. Due to his criminal record, he has to stay close to his brother in public. Tends to disappear when his younger brother isn't nearby. Gravitates towards darkness like a reverse moth.
