And then it all came flowing into his brain. Three years of his youth.
I’m telling you: this all
Really happened. I had a love I ripped through like it was bread.

Geto Suguru dies in Shinjuku.
He is seventeen years old. Three-hundred and six human civilians die alongside him, unfortunate enough to find themselves in the line of fire of the Gojo clan’s most destructive technique.

Megumi finds Gojo-sensei’s old flip phone while looking for something in his teacher’s old room. He, Kugisaki and Itadori decide to snoop on it and find many pictures of a seemingly forgotten friend.

“Sensei,” she begins.
“Yes?”
“How’d you get that scar?”
Geto-sensei doesn’t miss a beat.
“Oh, this old thing?” he asks, rubbing a thumb across the horizontal line of scar tissue. “I walked face first into a row of barbed wire back when Satoru and I were students.”
“Really,” Nobara says incredulously. “That’s funny, ‘cuz Panda said you told him you got into a knife fight with yakuza.”

They fall out of orbit on December 24th, in a cobblestone alleyway smeared with blood.

There's something clinging to Gojō - hovering close to him, lingering in his shadows, flickering in his mirrors, chilling the air around him. Various people notice.
[Or: Getō dies. But not quite. And that changes some things.]

Gojo Satoru
Professor in the PHYSICS DEPARTMENT at JUJUTSU TECHNICAL COLLEGE.
PHYS 161
Rating: 1/5
Professor Gojo WILL keep you past scheduled class time to talk about his husband. Make sure you listen because his tests include details about his personal life. I failed the midterm because I didn’t remember their anniversary date.
All in all - DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. The fact that someone actually married this heathen is astounding.
Or, a spin around the rumor mill leads Nobara to the wrong answer.

Three times Satoru’s heart stops beating, and the one time it’s Suguru’s.

“This is still the shittiest car I’ve ever seen in my entire life,” is the first thing Satoru says to him after almost a decade of not seeing him.
“Yeah, well,” Suguru frowns, “deal with it for about six hours, asshole.”

Whoever’s playing, it sounds like someone right above Satoru’s apartment, judging from the clarity and depth of the sound. Someone who plays often, because no one else seems surprised. No one yelling for them to shut up. There’s a pause, a short breath in, before they start with a basic set of scales-
And Satoru freezes-
Because as Yaga used to say, one can tell a lot about a musician’s ability simply through a run-through of their scales.
And whoever the hell this is, their scales are the cleanest and most beautiful Satoru’s heard in a very, very long time.
One and only child prodigy violinist Gojou Satoru has moved into a new apartment with bad ventilation and thin walls. And whoever the pianist is living above him—music ringing loud and clear—has no business being this damn good.
Seriously, who the hell are they?

“You died,” Satoru says. “I killed you. You made me kill you."
His words are sturdy, but encumbered with wretched grief, swayed by indignation. Suguru is immobilized, a silent witness to the veracity that Satoru is sharing

It seems that they’ve always been fated to move in tandem. Twin puppets dancing a comic tragedy at the hands of the same puppeteer, doomed to reciprocate the other in an endless tidal repertoire that spans centuries.
A decade and a thousand years, through Geto Suguru's eyes.

“A curse that hates humans but treats us like this?” Six-Eyes’ voice is lilted incredulously. “That’s even more interesting. It makes me wonder, y’know—you never did answer when I asked what could’ve made a curse like you.”
Suguru sighs, smile dropping ever-so-slightly. “It’s very rude,” he drawls, “to ask a curse their origin, especially if they’ve already denied answer.”

Upon arriving at the scene, it’s hard to say whether turning up just five minutes earlier would have made much of a difference.
As it stands, there is a lot of blood. Too much blood to be explained away, and too many strong residuals to be traced back to anyone other than Satoru.
Or, Suguru arrives at the Time Vessel Association hideout a little too late. This changes things.
the world with(out) you by sieges for entremelement
Completed | M | 22.5k
When Getou Suguru wakes up alone in a world wherein Gojo Satoru is no longer the strongest sorcerer, but the strongest curse, Fushiguro-sensei only has one solution to offer him.
(How Satoru and Suguru's world would've changed if they were born just a little bit later, and everyone else just a little bit earlier.)
Thursday Night Comedy Hour by Goneagon
Completed | M | 65.9k
Satoru wanted to become a comedian, so he dropped out of college. Suguru wanted to be a teacher; he dropped out of college after Satoru told him about his dream. They perform on Thursday nights because they can’t afford to rent the stage on Friday. The walk home never changes, the Family Mart ramen tastes the same as it always does.
