When asked about his opinions pertaining to the modern epidemic use and dependency of images and media in our current world, a despairing but honest answer resounded in the amphitheater of Belas Artes University from foundational American video artist, Gary Hill, earlier this afternoon. "There's too many images in the world already and there's just going to be more. Images are commodified in a system of selling people to people. Without a drastic revolution in thinking, I don't have high hopes. I don't feel too good about the future. We go on and try and do what we can." And then ironically we posted this image.
