What's your favorite short-tailed python species?

Ough how could you make me choose? I really can't choose between bloods and Borneos, honestly!

Blood pythons (Python brongersmai) are so beautiful and fun! I love how chatty they can be and how big their grumpy personalities are. I miss my old blood Frankie every day, he was the best snake ever! They are genuinely just such awesome snakes, you can just take them out and hang out with them. Fun chunky guys!

And then Borneo short-tails (Python breitensteini) are just delights. They're a bit less fussy than their cousins the blood pythons, and they're such sweethearts. My new guy Hobie has already come further with handling than Frankie did in months, honestly. You can just chill with these snakes - it might take two hands to hold 'em, but that's just more room for love.

And we can't overlook Sumatran short-tails (Python curtus), the final short-tailed python species, either! They're way less common in the pet trade but they're a lot like Borneos in that they tend to be a bit less gurmpy than bloods can be. I don't like them quite as much because their pattern isn't as bold and beautiful to me, but they're still amazing!
