“why are you wearing that stupid man suit?”

this is a line from one of my favourite films “donnie darko” (2001) and although it is a rhetorical question frank is using this line to throw donnie’s own words back in his face, it still gets me thinking, how would you answer that kind of question? the fact that it was asked with no intention of being answered says a lot maybe it is never meant to be answered or maybe everyone has their own answer because everyone has different ways of interpreting life, either way it’s a very interesting piece of dialogue
