I'm a Gen1, Gen2 imp and old imp/gen1 collecter I just find it satifying; I also like 2 name derg, glitch dergs and cool ID# derg.

Flight Rising Goals I Can Think of Right Now:

1)Try not to stress myself with the need to do everything at once, I need to learn to pull away

2)Work on gene projects

3)Slowly accumulate art for my favorite dragons

4)Finish opening slots in lair and hidden

5)Would love to collect more skins

i love when a feedee is obviously a little dumb… like, awww you really couldn’t stop, could you?? no wonder you’re so big. did the thought to stop eating ever cross your mind, or did you just finish everything on your plate because that’s what you were always told to do? did you even realize your portion sizes were getting bigger, too? i bet you get a little mad when people point out how much you’re eating. of course it’s not your fault, you didn’t know any better..

Hey, I’m finally back with new art. Art block’s been a pain lately. Haven’t drawn in a while. I wanted to draw something for the Noise update but I got stumped. I feel like when it comes to the Dusthide debate, a lot of people seem to misinterpret the main point of Ancients as both a game element and a product.

A big part of Flight Rising is dress-up. While users can argue on what the sole draw of FR is (dragons themselves, breeding, the Dominance system, etc), it's generally agreed that the dress-up aspect is one with a lot of care and resources put into it, and is therefore very important to site gameplay. Dress-up keeps getting updated with new apparel, and if there is to be a new dragon breed, it needs every piece of apparel re-drawn on it. This takes time. A lot of time. Gaps between dragons (now known as Moderns) stretch for years at a time.

Ancients were initially created as a way to fill in these time gaps between Moderns, and the easiest way to do that was to release dragons without apparel. However, this is a game that puts a lot of emphasis on dragon dress-up. Imagine if Obelisks were released without any coded apparel. You'd just have a naked dragon missing a huge element of the game, and for most players, there's no fun in that.

This is where the second point of Ancients comes in: because the appeal of clothing is gone, there has to be some kind of compromise. So... if Ancients can't wear apparel, then they are no longer restrained by the requirements for apparel (1 head/4 legs/2 wings)...

which means that they can break the modern mold freely! You can have a dragon with no legs, or six. Or with two heads, or no head. And now that you don't have to worry about apparel clipping, the tertiary genes can go wild! There is room for customization that apparel can't fulfill - you could give it extra wings, or a jellyfish head, or giant tree horns, or you could give it nothing at all as tertiary genes are optional, and it wouldn't matter because there's no apparel to be drawn around it!

Ancients are supposed to be a trade-off. There's no selling point to a dragon without clothing on the Dragons With Clothing Game, but there is a selling point to a dragon with, say, 13 legs, no wings and no tail. It doesn't wear apparel, because it physically can't, and it makes use of this function in creative ways. The inability to wear apparel is justified by the Ancient's unique proportions.

And this is where the criticisms for Dusthides and other 'basic' Ancients stems from: if your Ancient dragon is just the 1 head/4 legs/2 wings setup, then is it really an Ancient or a Modern you can't dress up? You could have the wildest, gaudiest, 15-limb tertiary gene on a Dusthide and it wouldn't matter, because tertiaries are optional and aren't a permanent part of the dragon that would inhibit the usage of apparel.

If a dragon doesn't have a justifiable reason to not wear apparel, then there's no reason for it being an Ancient.

No amount of linebreaking tertiaries will be able to hide the fact that some dragons seem to be created only for the first, initial purpose: just to tide people over until a better, 'real' dragon is created.

And that's just disappointing.

It was a new year and he was your room mate. You two had a couple of classes together, but never seemed to talk.But that all kinda changed when you guys ended up in the same dorm. And you guys become good friends.And started hanging out more, and honestly the more he looked at you the more he was so intrigued by you.

He wanted to figure you out. So now he has a personal vendetta against you. He's your biggest opp. You to were in your dorm on a Sunday playing a video game. And so matter how many times he cheated- I mean sabotaged you, by kicking you, pushing you down, you would always win either way."There's no fucking way, how are you wining" miles complained pressing the x button repeatedly. Just by hitting one button you won that shit easily.

He was basically on top of you trying to block your vision but you still won. So while you were winning he took this opportunity to tickle you. As soon as his finger made contact with skin, you jumped up throwing him off you. Making him fall on is ass. "MILES" you screamed trying to get away from him. But he got back on top of you. Pinning you down.

"Oh, your ticklish ma? I never knew you were ticklish" I sly smirk appeared on Mile's face as took one hand away from the controller and tickled you stomach. You scream out loud and drop the controller.

You burst into laughter trying to cover your stomach. Miles quickly won the game, but that didn't stop him from torturing you. You covered your mouth hiding your smile."Don't cover your mouth ma, you have a pretty smile" miles cooed trying to pry your hands away from your face.

You had the classic eyebag smile, one of the things miles always loved bout you. "miLES" you screamed out as he uncovered your face. But you couldn't stop laughing."Aww look at you. Your so cute when you smile ma" Miles teased.

Now, if you look at this from another prospective. Someone might think something... else is going on.The position you were in...was giveing one night stand. Miles was on top of you restraining your hands, breathless from fighting you. You were on the ground flustered as ever.

Both yall clothes were disheveled as long as your hair. BreathlessThere was a knock at your door, but you didn't here do to your loud laughing, and trying to run from miles. Believe it or not it was actually your bestfriend. Coming yo tell you the tea about her new room mate... AKA miles bestfriend. Ganke.

"Girl you will not believe were me and ganke are- opp-" your bestfriend saw the scene of you laying on the floor and Miles on top of you. "O-oh my" she said covering her mouth. "In the dorms is crazy but uh... call me when your done... you know" the curly haired girl slowly closed the door, and snaping a quick picture.You finally pushed miles off of you.

"WAIT, SWAG, ITS NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE" you yelled after her. "SWAG. J-JOVIE, DELETE THE DAMN PICTURE" you yelled again leaving a low key stunned, and flustered miles.
