Estos son los fuertes Maunsell. Están en el estuario del Támesis y eran la última línea de defensa durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Creo que todavía siguen en pie, aunque abandonados.

Y'know what y'all are missing out on?
Punk Sealand.
Lemme repeat it: punk Sealand.
As a micronation, Sealand was created based on the principles of musical freedom and anti-monopolism during a time when BBC dominated the radio industry. As people looked for a way to bring music to the public (and hopefully rake in a profit in this niche) , they turned to the Maunsell forts because "hey, the government can't possibly stop us out here!"
And like. If England can be punk, let Sealand be punk. For someone whose canon personality seems to revolve around rebellion, individualism, and self sufficiency, he'd fit right in with the subculture.
And the fact that he loves cute stuff and and anime just makes it even better. My dude would jump right into kawaii culture, too. Do a bit of everything. Punk lolita. Oshare kei. Celtic punk with Catholic motifs.
He does whatever he wants and does not care what other people think about him. And when you consider that fact that either 1) he dresses cute on purpose to look younger, or 2) he's actually growing and getting older—this comes from Himaruya's comment on his updated chibi—then I see no reason why he can't get some character growth.
I could talk so long about how micronations as a whole are walking symbols of counterculture and nonconformity, how they're the bridge between humans and nations (both in-universe and on a meta level).
Let Sealand be punk. Let him be a punk.

this might be downright silly and goofy of me. but. when i was on the plane yesterday and as i was nearing the east english coast. my dad spotted a strange structure laying in the ocean. i PROMISSEE it was much clearer irl but it resembled closely to the maunsell forts which in itself is a very rare sight. it may have been something else entirely.. but the thought of me seeing those sea forts made me very very happy :)) theyre such interesting structures that have intrigued me for years

Learn About the Abandoned Maunsell Army Sea Forts in England
The history of England is filled with stories of battles, conquests, and grand structures that once stood proud but have now fallen into ruin. Among these, the Maunsell Army Sea Forts hold a unique place. These abandoned structures, situated in the waters off the coast of England, were built during World War II as a defense mechanism against German air raids.

Day on Dingle Peninsula
Although early morning the day appeared as if it was going to be another gloomy day, it turned out to be a very sunny day and the temperature even got above 20 degrees.
Our first aim of the day was to visit the village of Ballymalis ( home of Maunsell ancestors) in search of Ballymalis Castle. The village was there but no castle!
Our next visit was to the Gap of Dunloe, a narrow moutain pass created in the ice age. Specacular scenery but hairraising driving. It is about 18Km long and is almost a single lane road with a few turnouts which are needed when there is an oncoming car or the jaunting cart carrying tourists.

After a fortfying coffee we continued on through Milltown and Castlemaine with its bronze statue of The Wild Colonial Boy to drive around to Dingle .
One stop was Inch Strand where e the tidal range is so low that there is a warning for people to move the cars from the beach car park by a certain time so that they will not be caught in the water. we were there just after low tide and so it was a long walk to the water. Amusingly therewas lifeguard situated a long way from the water and he certainly was not observing the "swimmers".

We continued on on the Slea Head Drive to Dingle, which was +++ full of tourists so we decided to drive on in search of lunch.
We came to a small town of Ventry and had lunch in a quaint pub ,the Paidi O Se .This quaint pub is situated in the heart of one of Ireland’s only Gaelic (Irish) speaking areas . Paidi was a famous Galeic Football player and the pub not only has a statue of him but is FULL of photos / football boots and other memorabilia.

We continued on visiting prehistoric fairy forts and beehive huts and spectacular scenery.

On our return journey home we found the Ballymalis Castle ( on opposite side of the "highway" to the village. It is currently under restoration so we were ony able to se the front from a distance but got quite close to the scaffolded rear of the castle.

Again the town was quite busy but we found a very nice restaurant for dinner and after dinner we visited The Laurels Pub. This pub has been owned by the same family for > 100 years and I last visited it in 2000 with my mother. We had a great time then as the daughter of the owner had worked with me @ Prince Henry Hospital and happened to be "home" from her job in Dublin, so we were special patrons. The pub is still busy and particularly so because as well the usual tourists it is Killarney Race Week and there is an influx of people attending this event.

Maunsell Forts, the now-abandoned army and navy towers placed in the Thames Estuary in 1942 to help protect London from airstrikes and sea raids during World War II.
Info from source of photo 'Historic Photographs' on Fakebook:
Three of the seven linked Nore forts, Thames Estuary, which guard British shipping lanes against Luftwaffe air raids & mine laying. Primarily erected as first line invasion defences, each tower is armed with a 3.5 artillery gun. The forts were constructed ashore, towed out to sea, sunk on sandbanks and then joined together with cat walks. Other Maunsell forts were the Sheerness, now demolished, Red Sands and Shivering Sands further out. Photograph is from 1945.
