Descendants Tudor era inspired AU

Main Royal families:

Ben: 18 when he becomes king and is betrothed to our main OC character he falls in love with Mal when she comes to the court to bridge the gap between Auradon and the Isle.

Beast: The unrightful ruler of Auradon, The OC's family were the legitimate heirs to the throne but before they could travel back from the countries they were in abroad Beast claimed the throne. War broke out when he refused to leave the throne.

Belle: Unrightful Queen Consort she will be just as unlikeable as Beast

Luna: Ben's older half sister (23), she's a bastard who was legitimized when Beast married Belle. She's is currently having her marriage negotiated.

Bailee: First daughter of Ben and Belle (16) she's going through her bratty rebel phase right now.

The entire beast family is looked down upon right now because they're known as crown thieves and a barely legitimate family that forced their way into the crown.

The Lacerda family: House of Lacerda: rightful heirs to the throne

Calista Lacerda: 21, eldest daughter and the heir to the throne she is to marry Ben to stop the war between the two families from destroying the country. She had to fight to be the heir in favor of her younger brothers, her relationship with her family is strained because she grew up away from them in a different country.

Diamantino Lacedra: Crowned and rightful King, he fought the Beast family with such violence and it ended many lives. He's not looked upon as a good king but because he's the rightful heir many shut their mouths in fear of being burned at the stake, Because of his unfavored ruling he was advised to betrothed his heir to the beast family to avoid a rebellion in favor of the beast family.

Gloria Lacedra: Warrior Queen, fought alongside her husband in battle she's standoffish but is generally still a good queen and mother.

Joana Lacerda: 18 younger sister of Calista and third in line to the throne. She's very manipulative and violent currently in talks of becoming Queen consort of Scotland.

Fausto Lacerda: 17 first male born family member in a constant rivalry with his sister since he believes he should be the sole heir since he was the first born male child. A spoilt brat dotted on by his father with a sinster side.

Grau Lacerda: 15 the baby of the family, generally cool lives the life of a well off prince, no desire to be king or perform any royal duties. Honestly probably already by the age of 15 has 2-3 bastard children.

So, outside of my headcanons I've already shared with you in our messages, that being:

William is still alive and the situation with Walpurg attacking him was a misunderstanding on the school staff's part

William wrote love poetry to Walpurg

My headcanons are also:

William read his writings to Walpurg before giving it to anyone else

Walpurg comforted William when he had writting blocks

William often felt like apologizing to other vampires on Walpurg's part when Walpurg got them upset

William strives to retrieve blood in peaceful ways, so Walpurg tried to avoid feeding on human blood when they spent time together (but he was defenetly draining the victims of blood brutaly when he was alone and William was aware of it)

William missed and kept having feelings for Walpurg despite the latter going off the rails and becoming an outlaw

William reunites with Walpurg after the latter's rehabilitation in Rosering, Johnnie and Florian's home

William attended the shool in the castle too and, in school years, William and Walpurg went on at least one double date with Johnnie and Florian (btw, I think William was one of the supporters of Johnnie and Florian's relationship, with the whole William Shakespeare reference, the guy would dig their Romeo and Juliet type of situation)

How did Eddie, Frank and Howdy react upon finding Florian and Who found the lil guy?

Does Peony kinda take on a big sister role to Florian after her Dads explain they haven't replaced her and still very very much love her?

Do all 5 of them take goofy family photos together? I can just imagine them all in those striped jumpers from the 70's 🤣

1- They’d be surprised but over the moon with finding Florian - after a long while in the human world, finally returning home, to their world, after a long scuffle that left them tired, battered and bruised, there he was, like a little “Welcome Home” present. Eddie would be the one to find him first, finding him crying in a little crib in his and Frank’s room, all three of them welcoming him to their little family!

2- Eventually she does, after getting over the initial shock and lingering fear of being replaced, when in reality they too were also surprised by Florian coming into their lives. After they both start school, Peony realises just how easily pushed around Florian is, since he’s so shy and gentle, so she adopts the protective older sister persona, which leads them to becoming inseparable! Oh and Frank is the one to make her realise that she is still very much loved by him and his husbands -

at the point where sometimes i forget alto isn't a canon character. they slot so naturally in with other characters and i'm so pleased with how they turned out i'm surprised that i made that guy. i did well if i do say so myself

#clai speaks #character creation isnt that much of a strong suit of mine i think. it doesnt come as easily as it does for other people #most of the stuff about my keykid ocs dayn florian and esen just comes straight from khux #and with faine and valerie the best part about them was made with lots of input from friends #and the bajillion other ocs i have are still unfinished bc i just cant think of much #but alto was honestly pretty easy to make and develop and i've given them a cool story. its nice :)#side note also everyone is very nice about them i appreciate it a lot!!#even now tbh sometimes i'm still nervous about posting them especially the oc x canon stuff but everyone's been sweet #point of this post is uhhh i love blorbo from my brain

Comic, Gimmighoul for your Thoughts? - Colourised

I was quite surprised by how much people enjoyed Ghimmghoul for your Thoughts? a - so I cleaned up the rough art I made for it and painted it. Originally, it was supposed to be monochromatic, but the colours came out too well I just couldn't bare to put a filter on it. (I wanted the wall design to be fun and copied the loading screen of the game for inside the Academy, but man, did I not filter in that I had to paint the pattern in wacky fish lens perspective too. Ugh)

(I had to include Lampent as lamp fixtures, but it is a shame I couldn't keep the original sketch I made for it. The perspective wouldn't allow it)

Flore's design here is a bit rough but I will get the hang of it. Eventually.
