f/o who doesn’t know they’re touchstarved until they meet you.

the heavy want grows in their chest and is absolutely undeniably there whenever you two even just briefly touch. when you’re so close that they’re so desperate have you closer, wanting to feel their body pressed against yours in a tight embrace, that the thought of your hand in theirs is barely enough. when you two finally hug, or whenever you do, they sink into your embrace almost immediately, a deep sigh of content heard as they wrap their arms around you to return the tender hug. it’s a little hard to get their arms off you afterward, with those small mumbles of “just a little longer” and “i don’t want to let go yet.”

maybe they’re super embarrassed about feeling so at first and are so glad whenever you indulge in their desire to have you, to feel your warmth. or they’re incredibly stubborn about it but their actions always say otherwise, finding every little chance to have their skin touch yours, to quietly tug on your sleeve or any other sign that you immediately know what they want with it.

eitherway they’re forever thankful that you’re so understanding. with the little touches you guys end up doing like from simply pushing a strand of hair behind an ear or running fingers through each other’s hair, they’re absolutely addicted. smitten, even, so incredibly much that they can’t put their love for this, for you into words.

Now Danny didn’t mean to make a Bootube channel. He’d meant to send that sleep deprived ramble to Tucker, but he had clicked on the wrong app and yeah. Apparently people enjoy his space rambles- or it could have been the ghost blob-cats that had decided to flop onto him. (Honestly he wasn’t surprised they would start to mimic the shapes of things in their surroundings)

Tucker? Found it hilarious, as did Sam and Val and… um, okay this has become their shared channel now, nice. Though there are some strange comments on some of the videos. Really, what do they mean green sky and crazy tech???

An aspect of Hilda the series that I feel isn’t talked about enough is the colonizer’s guilt and how it affects the main character.

What made me write this was watching the third episode of the new season, but honestly, it’s something we see throughout the whole series. Starting out with the elves in the northern counties, and moving on to trolls and now giants. Every season that came out gave us a chance to see Hilda deal with the feelings that arise from living in a society she knows is built on the occupation of another people’s native land and the oppression of those inhabitants.

She knows it’s not her fault, she knows she’s not the colonizer, but she’s well aware that she’s in the privileged side of her society. Seeing her grapple with the fact that her very existence in these spaces is only possible because someone else is getting the short end of the stick, to me at least, makes her that much more interesting of a character.

Because it’s not a matter of fixing what she’s done, but the privilege is still there and not even well hidden when she sees the day to day life of the people whose land has been occupied by humans/trolbergians. So whenever we see her rush to aid them, her borderline desperation to fix what’s been broken, it’s even more captivating because it’s not just the usual “I love helping people and having adventures” gist, there’s always this undertone of guilt for something she hasn’t personally done but still knows has to be held accountable for.

Hilda knows the type of oppression that people like her get away with. And she wants no part in it.

#OP HAS ONLY WATCHED UP UNTIL EPISODE THREE YET!!!!!!!!!!#DONT TELL ME IF SHE TURNS OUT TO BE SOME SORT OF ALSO COLONIZED CODED MAGICAL CREATURE!!!!#but even if it’s the case. she still *grows up* thinking she’s in the ‘part of the problem’ side of things #and very much gets treated like so. so. you know. privilege either way #as a white Brazilian person this makes the character that much more relatable to me #there’s always this sense of guilt even if you know you’re trying your best to not be part of the problem #we’re already part of the problem. living where I live is only possible because of many years of violence against another culture #and we need to learn to live with it and fix what’s salvageable #and that’s what’s so juicy about Hilda. because she GETS the chance to fix it #and she DOES. and watching her cope with *why* those people need to be saved in the first place #is what makes her so interesting to watch to me #Hilda spoilers #Hilda s3 #Hilda s3 spoilers #Hilda season 3 #Hilda the series #Hilda netflix #Hilda (Hilda)

I said there might be something different today, and there sure is. You might know that I share poses and deco sims out on my main @madebycoffee which I obviously still intend to do, but those ones I prefer to be a little more polished. I want a place I can share out poses that is less weighty IDK how to explain it really. Mostly the poses in question I want to share out are specific sequences that I make for the legacy and are too good to be tossed into a 'used' folder and forgotten about. And they make more sense to be shared here.

The first set is a combination of poses I made for Cordy's Wedding. There were too many good ones, including one I never even used because I forgot to put it in (the hug pose). AND I thought you all might have some use for them :)
