aeeeashgidnj it's perfect though. the frustration. the sadness. the anger that now that he's FINALLY got sonic he still isn't listening. the "come on and see, now that you're listening let's acknowledge our shared grief." the moment that he's done explaining going "yeah no now i'm stealing your tech and doing it myself" (HE WOULD FUCKING SAY THAT!!!). the fight (THEY'RE SO BADASS) him falling to the void (agghhh no) and SONIC CATCHING HIM (HE CAUGHT HIM THIS TIME) and now they have to work together and sonic is so insufferable about it and shadow is watching over him
