The Guado are very sensitive to changes in nature and the energy living things give off. It's something that is essential to their roles as both the Guardians of Spira and Guardians of the Farplane. One has to remain sensitive and vigilant to the differences, lest a wandering soul become Unsent.

However, Seymour does not have Spira's best interest at heart and has used his abilities as a Guado to get away with the cruel things he plans and executes in the shadows. So when the opportunity to sabotage a group of Guardians, and their naïve Summoner (whom poses a threat to his reign), is handed to him on a silver platter, he takes it.

Especially since this group of Guardians not only has an Al Bhed and an Unsent amongst them, but one of Sin's Children as well. The best part it about this circumstance it: none of them are aware of the monster hiding behind a human disguise.

I don't know much about Final Fantasy X, but the song "Fight with Seymour" is both an absolute bop and hilarious to me. On one hand, it's the battle between the main characters and one of the most powerful villains/mages of the game and keeps your blood pumping throughout the twists and turns of the battle.

On the other hand, the name implies a full on fist fight where Tidus and Seymour just spend the entire battle decking each other while the rest of the party chants FIGHT. FIGHT. FIGHT. FIGHT.

I’ve Thought of a “Role-Swap” AU of Final Fantasy X

What if Tidus was a summoner and Yuna was a girl from Zanarkand. But instead of a blitzball player, she was a popstar singer.

Seymour proposes to Tidus and it makes the situation more uncomfortable than it did originally with Yuna.

During the lake sequence, Yuna sings 1000 Words before Tidus kisses her.

thinking about Seymour and how he’s a foil to not just Yuna but to Tidus as well. How he is the story showing us what could have happened to either of them had just a few factors been changed.

Seymour Guado, biracial just like Yuna but unable to hide what he is. Too Guado to be human and too human to be accepted by the Guado until he is of use.

A powerful father just like Yuna and Tidus, but what might have happened if Tidus’ mother disappeared instead? Left him with a father that saw him not as a boy but as an extension of himself? Some legacy he had to live up to? What would have happened if Braska weren't a kind man? If he hadn't made absolutely certain someone would take Yuna away from Bevelle so that the political machine couldn't use her status and Braskas legacy as a weapon? If Braska hadn’t made sure that no one and nothing could shape her future but her own free will?

what would have happened if either one of them had been faced with the choice at SEVEN to sacrifice the one person who loved them unconditionally? To sacrifice them for a useless cycle no one would even believe him about if he told them? Sacrificed their own mother for a religion that didn't care for them? To please a father who sent him off KNOWING he would die? Because the only thing that would make Jyscal Guado proud of his half breed son would be to inherit his legacy? To make him a statue, a portrait with no voice?

GOD, Imagine Yuna or Tidus finding out at seven that there is no God that loves you. There is NO ONE that loves you, there is only power and weakness. Then climbing back down Mt Gagazet, alone, afraid and small, knowing they’ll never see their mother again?

Valentia is my Final Fantasy X OC. I originally intended her to appear after X-2, but I found potential using her for an AU where Seymour has a daughter.

She’s 14 years old but looks older than Tidus and Yuna.

Her personality is the feisty type with a heart of gold.
