1957 Ferrari 250 GT Cabriolet - Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena, Italy The 250 GT Cabriolet represents a milestone in ferrari's production. Before this model, Maranello had only ever built a very limited number of cabriolets (convertibles), designed to cater to a select clientele. With the presentation of the 250 GT at the Geneva Motor Show, a cabriolet model went into mass production for the first time. The car enjoyed great and immediate success. One of the earliest models was bought by Barbara Hutton, a famous US high society heiress married briefly to actor Cary Grant, who lost no opportunity to show it off at numerous social events. Famous actress Marilyn Monroe also drove the 250 GT cabriolet. 1951 Ferrari 212 Inter Coupe first owned by Anna Magnani (actress) - Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena, Italy front, longitudinal 60° V12 2562.51 cc 110 kW (150 hp) at 6500 rpm 200 km/h top speed One of the first stars to drive a Ferrari was Oscar-winning Italian actress Anna Magnani. In January 1951, she took delivery of a two-tone Ferrari 195 Inter, an evolution of the 166 with a longer wheelbase and an enlarged, more powerful 2,341cc Gioachino Colombo-designed V12 engine. Magnani was a household name, a truly global film star. A famous picture of her with the Ferrari was taken on the set of the 1952 film La Carrosse d'Or - The Golden Coach, which was directed by Jean Renoir. She later won an Oscar for her performance in the 1956 movie The Rose Tattoo. Her 195 Inter was a Vignale-bodied version of the second road-going Ferrari. Enlarging the V12 engine made it more flexible at low speeds - important for period customers unused to the high performance of a Ferrari. However, it was also more powerful, giving it a high top speed for the time. Italian coachbuilders Touring, Ghia and Ghia Aigle also produced body variants of the 195 Inter. Anna Magnani owned her Ferrari until 1959, when it passed into the hands of collectors. It was later believed to have been converted by the factory to 212 Inter specification. In 2016, Magnani's former Ferrari won the FIVA Preservation Award at the Argentinian Autoclasica event. 1963 Ferrari 250 LM - Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena, Italy Presented at the Paris Motor Show in October 1963, this was the berlinetta version of the 250 P prototype, sharing the same chassis and running gear with just minor modifications. The FIA’s refusal to homologate it as a GT car damaged its sales potential and the decision forced the car to compete with true prototypes, thus decreasing its chances of victory. On the other hand, it did extend the life of the 250 GTO on the racing circuits. 1967 Ferrari 330 GTC Speciale, once owned by Princess Lilian of Belgium - Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena, Italy. Ferrari 330 GTC slotted in between the 275 GTB Berlinetta, whose chassis it shared, and the more tranquil 330 2+2 Coupé, from which it inherited its 4-litre V12 engine. Presented at the 1966 Geneva Motor Show, it was an instant success: Pininfarina’s extremely elegant bodywork took after the 500 Superfast at the front and the 275 GTS at the rear. The 330 GTC exudes a sophisticated, minimalist elegance and, as a result, was one of Sergio Pininfarina’s personal favourites. The 330 GTC remained in production until the end of 1968: 600 were built. The version exhibited here was a part of exhibition «Driving with the Stars» and it was once owned by Princess Lilian of Belgium. It is a unique example with a completely separate stylistic language which offers a twist on several themes broached by the Dino on front-engined running gear: the ovoid radiator grille on the nose, unapologetic dihedral along the flank and, most of all, the concave curved rear screen. 1953 Ferrari 375 MM - Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena, Italy Ferrari 375 Mille Miglia carried on the Ferrari tradition of naming sports models after the famous Italian road race and was a spin-off of the F1 single-seater, just like its sister car, the 375 America, which was the GT equivalent. The engine was based on its F1 counterpart, albeit with a new crankshaft giving a shorter, 68 mm stroke but with a bigger bore for a larger, 4.5-litre displacement. The engine debuted in a 340 Berlinetta at Le Mans where it was driven by Ascari and Villoresi. Subsequently Pininfarina built a series of around 10 spiders and a few berlinettas which were mainly fielded by privateers. A total of 26 examples were built including four converted examples of the 340 MM. 375 MM raced in the Carrera Panamericana, though with limited success. A fourth place in 1953 and a second place in 1954. Of course, there were victories such as in the 24 Hours of Spa and the 12 Hours of Casablanca. The 1000km race at the Nürburgring with Giuseppe Farina as pilot also skewed the 375 MM’s record. King of the Ferrari Driving Playboys and a well-known diplomat in the jet set, Porfirio Rubirosa, also owned 375 MM and his girlfriend of the time, Zsa Zsa Gabor, the Hungarian actress (also known for having had nine husbands), never missed an opportunity to enthusiastically pose in the cockpit of the 375 MM. 1954 Ferrari 750 Monza - Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena, Italy Engine: Inline 4 cylinder Total displacement - 3000 cc Power - 260 hp at 6000 rpm The 750 Monza, produced in 1954 and 1955, was equipped with the innovative and compact 4-cylinder in-line 3-litre engine derived from the proven 2-litre Formula One engine that won the World Championship in 1952 and 1953 driven by Alberto Ascari. The engine designs created by Aurelio Lampredi, had as main aims to reduce fuel consumption and the torque improvement. The bodywork was produced by Scaglietti. This car is also sadly known for being the one in which Alberto Ascari tragically died at Monza. #ferrari #ferrari750monza #luxury #modena #scuderiaferrari #ferrarimuseum #ferrariclassic #museocasaenzoferrari #enzoferrari #classiccar #carmuseums #albertoascari #ferrariheritage #italia #supercar #oldtimers #cars #supercars #racing #classiccars #traveling #forzaferrari #ferrarilife #luxurycars #cavallinorampante #travel #ferrariworld #prancinghorse #carsofinstagram #motorsport (at Museo Enzo Ferrari - Modena) https://www.instagram.com/p/CpvYCFzIF5t/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

1953 Motoscafo Arno XI-Ferrari in Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena, Italy The Arno XI is a hydroplane inspired by Achille Castoldi in the early 1950s and built by the Cantiere Timossi boatyard, located in Azzano (a frazione of Mezzegra) on the Lake Como. Castoldi wanted to establish a world water speed record so he persuaded then Ferrari racing drivers Alberto Ascari and Luigi Villoresi to influence Enzo Ferrari to supply him with a 4.5-litre, V12 Ferrari engine; the same engine that gave Ferrari his first Grand Prix victory with the Ferrari 375 F1 at Silverstone Circuit in 1951. The engine was installed in a Timossi three-point racing hydroplane hull. Engine modifications Achille Castoldi managed to further increase horsepower by attaching two Roots volumetric compressors. The result was a 510 HP speedboat, which he used to hit a 150.19 mph (242.708 km/h) top speed in October 1953 on Lake Iseo. This world speed record for an 800 kg boat is still unbeaten, mainly because the category no longer exists. In 1954 it then passed into the hands of the pilot and engineer Nando dell'Orto who with the hydroplane established some other records, then the Arno XI ended up almost forgotten in a warehouse on the outskirts of Milan where it remained until the end of the nineties. Arno XI was later sold and raced in numerous competitions, finally retiring in 1960. It has since been restored and is expected to go for up for sale by RM Auctions for up to €1.5m. In 2021 the Arno XI is for sale again at an asking price of USD$12 Million. #ferrari #luxury #modena #scuderiaferrari #ferrarimuseum #ferrariclassic #museocasaenzoferrari #enzoferrari #classicboat #carmuseums #formulaone #ferrariheritage #italia #boat #racingboat #racingboats #hydroplane #worldspeedrecord #worldwaterspeedrecord #traveling #forzaferrari #ferrarilife #speedboat #cavallinorampante #travel #ferrariworld #prancinghorse #boats #boatsofinstagram #motorsport (at Museo Enzo Ferrari - Modena) https://www.instagram.com/p/CpgkxiBIxtt/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Ferrari 812 Superfast - Ferrari Museum Maranello, Italy
The first and most difficult challenge Ferrari always faces when it decides to develop a new model is to push the boundaries of its own achievements yet again. This challenge is made all the tougher when the task at hand involves designing a new 12-cylinder engine, the power unit that hailed the start of the glorious Prancing Horse story 70 years ago in 1947. On this occasion, intensive research and development focused on exploiting Ferrari’s wealth of track-derived engineering know-how has produced the 812 Superfast, designed to offer its drivers both benchmark performance across the board and the most riveting and rewarding driving experience possible. With its output boosted to 800 cv, 60 more than the F12berlinetta, the 812 Superfast is the most powerful and fastest road-going Ferrari ever built (with the exception, of course, of the rear-engined special limited-series 12-cylinders). The 812 Superfast thus ushers in a new era in Ferrari 12-cylinder history, and, in doing so, builds on the invaluable legacies of the F12berlinetta and F12tdf. To make full use of that huge power and to guarantee perfect weight distribution, the car exploits a highly evolved transaxle architecture that couples a front-mounted engine with a rear-mounted transmission. It is also the first Ferrari equipped with EPS (Electric Power Steering).

LaFerrari 2013 - Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena, Italy
LaFerrari is Ferrari's first ever production car to be equipped with the F1-derived hybrid. It boasts the most extreme performance ever achieved by a Ferrari production car and features the most advanced and innovative technical solutions which will, in the future, filter down to the rest of the Ferrari range. The LaFerrari is Ferrari’s first ever production car to be equipped with the F1-derived hybrid solution – the HY-KERS system – which combines an electric motor producing over 150 CV with the most powerful incarnation yet of Ferrari’s classic V12, with 800 CV at 9000 rpm. As well as producing 800 CV, the V12 spins to 9250 rpm which guarantees fantastic performance and driving pleasure as well as that unmistakable Ferrari V12 sound. These completely unprecedented results can be attributed to work carried out in three areas: volumetric, mechanical and combustion efficiency. The LaFerrari’s architecture represents the pinnacle of innovation even by Ferrari’s legendary standards. The objective was to increase aerodynamic efficiency, deliver ideal weight distribution, lower the car’s centre of gravity as far as possible, and, most importantly of all, seamlessly integrate the new hybrid system. All of this and more has been achieved without impinging on cabin space, comfort or accessibility. It was build just for 499 clients.

2011 Ferrari FF - Ferrari Museum in Modena, Italy
A four-seater that utterly changes the whole GT sports car concept, hailing nothing short of a revolution in the automotive world. Even the most cursory glance at the FF’s sleek, Pininfarina-penned super model profile will tell you that. Drive it - anywhere, any time, in any weather or road conditions – and you’ll know why it’s so radical. It may be a car that has elegance, beauty and art in its soul, but there’s much, much more to the FF than sophisticated allure. It was, in fact, designed specifically to tackle the toughest, most complex and ambitious of driving challenges. The kind of challenges that the most uncompromising and discerning drivers will want to set it.

2011 Ferrari 458 Italia GT3 (Deborah Mayer) - Enzo Ferrari Museum in Modena, Italy
The Ferrari 458 GT3 was launched in 2011 and superseded the F430 GT3, which had achieved over eighty class victories between 2006–2013. Like its predecessor, it was developed as a ground-up racing car and built in collaboration with Michelotto Automobili, the same factory-endorsed organisation responsible for countless racing Ferraris as well as the development of the 288 GTO and F40.
The engine is a bespoke 4.5-litre V-8 built for motorsport purposes, with only the engine block carried over from the road-going 458 Italia. It produces 550 bhp at 9,000 rpm, with 550 Nm of torque with GT3 specification restrictors in place and over 600 bhp without them. Power is channelled through a Hewland MLS six-speed sequential gearbox with steering-wheel-mounted paddles and Hewland’s ‘Paddle Shift’ gear-change system.
