I really must thank my amp fixr @marshalllespaulfan for recently servicing the compact (but mighty) 1965 #FenderPrincetonReverb. If you could only have one amp for the rest of your life…this is probably the best one to have. Small and portable, but sounds much bigger than it actually is, and loud enough for most stages. Plus on-board reverb!

I plan to spend a few evenings getting reacquainted with this beauty. The sad fact is that I have sorely neglected this amp in the last couple of years…in fact I can't remember the last time I plugged it in. 😳

I am sure the above statement will make a lot of people say something along the lines of "are you insane? The black panel PR is the most perfect amplifier in the history of vacuum tube amplification! Why aren't you playing it ALL the time??", except with a lot more profanity. Rest assured, your point is well-taken. Just keep in mind that my little amp collection, affectionately known as #ToneHenge™, contains at least 10 "perfect" amplifiers. It's hard to choose between them, and I forget how good some of the older ones are when I get distracted by the shiny new additions to the collection! 😉
