Fearidescent Draculaura joins the ranks of gorgeous gorgeous girls with saran ♡

I decided to give her a more icey look, forgoing the standard black streaks for white, I also wanted to show off her adorable widows peak!

I only have one more doll to reroot and then I'm DONE! For now at least, till the next inevitable polypropylene headed dolls from Monster High come out.

Finally found the new lines!!! They’re all so good!

I was surprised the two lines cost the same but Monster Ball only has one outfit. But holding them in person, it sort of makes sense. The quality of monster ball is a LOT better. The Saran hair is an obvious point of difference (although dracs was FRIED), but the clothes also have more detail, hemmed edges and quality material. MB Lagoona is perfection. No comments. She is my favorite lagoona ever. Drac should have had a pink hair bow and black tights to balance the colors of her outfit.

The poly hair on ss2 is disappointing and doesn’t feel too great, but is decently easy to tame/manage. The shiny fabric that the line is designed around is a cool idea and looks nice. But the material feels AWFUL, and is already creased so I can tell where it will start to peel first. I love the glittery makeup and cohesive-ness of the whole line. Cleo’s sandals are everything and her tassel shirt is soooo cool. Her pieces are the best in the line.

Honestly I love both lines and can understand some of the choices made to keep them in the same price range.

I still want either monster ball or ss2 clawdeen, but I’m still deciding. I like the hair and face on ss2 but not a fan of the outfit pieces (especially the earrings and second skirt), and I like the outfit of MB but dislike the hair and face (it’s very similar to the core doll face from China).

YALLLLLL I FOUND GEN3 MONSTER HIGH😭😭😭😭😭

Müller always got the new doll lines first in Hungary, so I knew I was gonna find them here for the first time!!!!

My first reaction was wow they are so colorful and fun!! Frankie looks a lot better irl than I hoped for (saw a lot of wonky ones online) and not that blue. Clawdeen is really cute!!!!! Draculaura is adorable, love her G3 face up so much! Lagonna on the other hand looks really bad imo, not a fan of her face. Prices are really high (40.77$ for the core dolls).

They also had Fearidescent Drac and Clawdeen! And look at how cool that display is!!!!!

After I left I realized they didn't have Cleo despite her having a spot on the display. It's been so long that I had an MH section of the toy isle to go to, that I forgot to check all the dolls like I used to lol

It's so cool to have them in stores again, despite not following or being the biggest fan of the new storyline, but still enjoying the dolls and happy that a new generation can enjoy MH :') Very excited to go "doll hunting" in more stores and see new dolls in the future!!!!!

I got myself a draculaura! she was very much on sale and i had a 20% off voucher, so instead of getting a fucked up plastic dragon, i picked her. the store had clawdeen and frankie as well, but her outfit looked the cutest.

I wanted her to have a wintery look, and none of the skirts really worked for me, so instead I whipped up a quick hand-sewn black latex skirt with a tier of netting.

her hair was. not great! it didn't shed super much, but it felt yucky, the ends were splitting and dry, so I concocted a truly insane hairdo with braids and a pouf and twists. i really like it though.

styling her and making a skirt that fit my vision was super fun! I'll keep her like this, she's just exuding "comes to bloodtypes 401 15 minutes late with a latte" energy.
