So I got the call today you were ready to come home. In a box, filled with ashes you lay, 10 days ago I laid down beside you and began to pray.
I look for you at the door and on your bed. Running for balls, begging for food, daily walks still in my head.
I can still hear your scratches at my door. You loved to lay in the shower, head on the steel, instead of the floor.
I sleep with your parrot, blanket and pillow for your smell. Your crossing the rainbow 🌈 bridge has made my heart swell.
Not an hour has gone by that i havent looked at a picture of you. Your affect on me was something you never knew.
I loved you with everything i had. This day is making me extremely sad.
I will always LOVE YOU MY ONE TRUE FRIEND. The smiles, grunts, snorts and even the farts that were stinky.
I feel lost without my best friend. I keep searching for you hoping this really isnt the end.
My world is empty without you around. I'm lost inside, my heart is incomplete, and i can't hear your sound.
Sleep well my dear soulmate. We had some great times, you were always a great date.
I will miss our selfies and your smile. You were a special bulldog with your own style!

Thank you! It has taken a while to settle down.
Sadly, I kind of can’t eat pizza anymore because of allergies, but I’m definitely going to find the yummiest thing I can think of and enjoy it.
If I’m lucky, I might even be able to write later. But at the moment I’m almost afraid to because I fear it might be angsty....
