The most significant fact about my farmer OC, Myra, is that she is WEIRD. Pretty much like she’s a colorful Addams family member.
The villagers all think she’s cute and friendly, but can’t deny that she’s hella weird because she likes weird stuffs (except for her love for roses). All of her farm animals and pets are void animals and they all give out creepy vibe.

Starting from left to right we have:
BROCK (Broker Xixo Fool): Silver-tongued (metaphorically, being a crab) and quick with both his words and his mouth, the xixo found his way to the outskirts of the world in search of a new grift and his coveted Snake Oil, something he believes to be an alchemical miracle drug.
CHAD (Brave Thrynn (?) Stormbender): Lover of surf, women, and men, Chad's connection to the sea has granted him a natural power over water - more about power than finesse he can strike an enemy with just his muscles (as in, his muscles can summon shards of ice).
MYRA (Seeker Thrynn Demon Slayer): Prostitute turned nun turned mighty warrior, a sword the size of one's body is just as useful as her strategic mind. A member of a secret religion, she worships and attempts to convert others to a psionic god - lord of dreams and vision.
SAMBOK (Mighty Trogg Colossus): Once a simple farmer, this life was not to be for the grandson of a conqueror. A wall of emotions and physical endurance alike, this unfortunate hero is at least able to channel the might of his grandfather's spirit, who haunts him at every turn.
SIR (Elder Trogg (?) Harvester): Millennia ago, he held impossible arcane secrets. A dark lord of his day, this was ended when a might warrior came to finally slay his fiend. However, the arcane masters rarely lie forever. Now he has returned, perhaps to forge a new path as he regains his strength.
SURGEO (Mender Automaton Seer): A medical marvel, Surgeo is a mechanical doctor adept at all things biological. After suffering at the hands of fate one too many times he became more metaphysical studies, aiming to help people as best he can all while the mysteries of his life tug at the back of his mind.

@honey-dont wanted to know more about the ghost of a TA who haunted my primary school so I'm making a whole post about her-
So at my primary school we had this little area called Myra's Garden, a memorial for a teaching assistant who'd passed away. And I swear, every student was convinced she was haunting the school. Even down to some of the first years.
Our school was built over the land where a farm had been (plenty of rumours were spread about where what farm buildings had been in relation to the school). People were also convinced the farmer's ghost haunted the school, and somehow a story had come about that he was a vengeful spirit angry that his farmland had been built over, whilst Myra's spirit stopped him from doing anything bad.
Now I don't believe in ghosts anymore, but I swear to non-existent deities that there was something supernatural going on. The school was divided up into sections by heavy double doors, doors that took some effort to move as a little kid, a slight breeze wouldn't be able to shift them. But they would move on their own sometimes-
Then there were the cold patches. I know buildings can have areas where it's hotter or colder but these cold patches were completely random, no rhyme or reason to when you'd feel it. Most people said they felt them when they were in the halls on their own (these were usually blamed on The Farmer rather than Myra).
The strongest memory I've got is when my friends and I got locked out of the school once. Me and my friend group were the litter volunteers (mainly to get out of assembly lol), so it was our job to go round the school cleaning up outside. There was one super heavy door that led right out into Myra's Garden that could only be opened from indoors, and it would shut on it's own if you didn't wedge it open. We had definitely wedged it open enough, I feel like between five 10 year olds we can make sure we've done the job right- but that fuckin door closed itself anyway.
A ghost was the only conclusion we could come to, we'd propped the door open with a whacking great rock, it wasn't gonna move on its on anytime soon, and none of us had shifted it. The rest of the school was in assembly, so nobody was pranking us. I think we concluded it had been The Farmer', because we were tidying Myra's Garden and we didn't think she'd be upset with us for that. Had to go round to the other side of the school to get back inside.
Anyways, like I said I don't believe in ghosts. But these two are the only ones I've even been slightly convinced were real, and honestly even with nearly a decade of hindsight and new understanding of things I cannot explain some of the occurrences at that school without considering the supernatural as a possibility.

I just came in from a walk with my Friend. Our talk led me to this.
Retirement is fun. It is so very different from my “active” ministry. That was fun too and something I won’t quit.
Take Tuesday for example.
I got the bean trellises in place and staked three dozen tomato vines.
I had deep and tender and heart touching conversations with a couple of dear friends concerned about the health of loved ones.
We talked and prayed and spoke our love for each other.
The Cutie and I spent the better part of the morning at the Special Olympics at Lexington school. Our primary purpose was to enjoy the delightful day our grandson was having but you never go to something like this without being amazed at the grace and generosity and goodwill and general goodness you see in virtually everyone. It is a Jesus moment.
Several folks messaged me with uplifting “links”, theological questions, and sweetly encouraging words. I listened, and conversed, and gave thanks. Mostly I told the truth and pled ignorance.
I wrote a blog.
Some days ago my old friend Brad asked me to do the honors when he and Alyssa get married. I couldn’t as I was already doing the same for Alex and Kellie the appointed day. Tuesday I hugged a greeting with Brad and Alyssa. They changed their wedding date so I could be a part of the party. Double the pleasure!
Along came Wayne to worship with a smile and a joke and some truth as our lives intersected again in a surprising and delightful way. He has been through a heckuva lot but his good cheer at the New Day is infectious.
Gwen and Deb left a stuffed envelope for use on my trip to Haiti.
Our faithful Myra showed up at worship after spending the day painting Pastor Paul’s study. She brought, and sold, a goodly amount of Haitian coffee. Farmers are working and preachers are praising and coffee drinkers have savory swishes for their palates.
I sat in stunned amazement as Sissy, Cindy, and Marie sang God’s praises and goodness at The Gathering. My eyes were closed. I see the angels I hear more clearly that way.
I preached.
Sort of.
Then 11 of us ate a taco and savored the Bread of Life as we reminisced, planned, and rested in the peace of the moment.
We giggled too.
After The Cutie and I got home I rested my head on the pillow and chatted with our Friend a minute. I thanked him for such a splendid day.
Retirement is fun. It is so very different from my “active” ministry.
I don’t go to meetings.
