Neverafter. It was a lot of fun. Though Tiny Heist is very special to me and was very cute. I haven't seen all of them though. I've been working through Sophomore Year for like... a year and a half now... hoping to be done before 2024.

I am absolutely OBSESSED with tweos and claudrien, but I have to ask: is there anyone in canon you actually ship Adrien with? Love square or otherwise (especially otherwise). Or is everyone else just meh?

I don't think I will ever be 100% down for any of the lovesquare lol. I'm not really sure why? Cause I used to think it just didn't have the 'right drama' to it, but then you see fics like FaOLL and they give it that and it's just... still not it to me? Maybe the lovesquare just needs homoerotic/cannibalistic vibes for me to be into it XD

As for other canon... Adribrina has grown on me. This is entirely @generalluxun and @lazyartist16s's doing, I will admit. If I can't have my boy be a melodramatic freak, then I'll at least let him be cute and adorable with someone who would truly appreciate him. Also it's a fellow cat/dog ship, so I physically, legally have to stan.

ok ok as for updates: it's been a long time coming because ch52 is heavy, and i've gotten stuck on a few things chief of which is I'm not sure how directly I want to describe gabriel lashing out at adrien. it's not for very long, buuuuut considering how difficult the Valentine's Day WIP is, I definitely have a lower tolerance for writing skin-crawling stuff than I think. (I think the relative ease that I churned out Ch37 is the cause of this delusion lol)

Thanks to everyone who dressed up alongsideme and everyone who didn't, but experienced this year with me all the same ♥ And thank you to all those I met this year who are still my friends going into this new year, I hope to get to know you all so much better and go on many colourful adventures with the lot of you!

“This mansion is a real fortress, isn’t it,” Adrien chuckles awkwardly. He’s of the definite opinion that it’s no wonder he never had a rebel phase. Sneaking past the myriad of cameras and guards just to get out of the house? No party is worth that kind of trouble. “The fucking Bastille,” Ladybug scoffs. “Believe me when I say I tried everything, but every square meter of the grounds is monitored—except maybe for an alcove at the other side of the house. It houses a statue of Emilie Agreste. They are probably too sentimental to put up a camera in her nostrils.” He straightens, thunderstruck by the way his mother’s name rolls off of her lips. “Oh, that’s right under my— That’s right under Adrien’s windows.” Ladybug’s expression immediately darkens. “Do you know Adrien Agreste?” “Uhm,” Adrien Agreste offers. He shuffles his feet. “Kinda? We do work at the same place.” “But are you like…” She flickers her wrist and there’s palpable disdain to her voice when she says, “friends?”
