For my sister's birthday in July I made her this card featuring the dog villagers from Animal Crossing Pocket Camp! (Villagers Left to Right: Butch, Goldie, Lucky, Cherry, Daisy). We're both big fans of the game (my favourite villager is Goldie 🐶). I had to block out her name on the right of the card for her privacy. Painted using the same media as I used on my Dad's card (listed in my previous post).

Next up in my collection of summer drawings is some fanart I did in July of the character Guts the pug from the anime Kill la Kill by the Trigger Animation studio! The show itself is awesome, funny, and amazingly bizarre (UK TV age rating 15). I've drawn him mimicking the infamous 'hallelujah' pose of his owner Mako Mankanshoku. Drawn using Derwent Academy sketching pencils (12 pack), and my trusty Staedtler Mars plastic rubber in an A6 sketchbook gifted to me by a uni friend.

Annnd she’s done! Here is my finished painting of Misaka Mikoto from the anime series A Certain Scientific Railgun. This was quite a labour of love since it’s been ages since I’ve drawn an entire half-body canvas size anime character.😊 Reblogs are appreciated.

It’s a series that’s dear to me cause it’s one of several animes me and my boyfriend have been bingeing remotely together online during lockdown. I’d say it’s one of my favourite animes of all time, and Misaka is one of my favourite anime protagonists- I love a good, well-written tsundere 😁

I painted her using Daler Rowney Simply watercolour 24 pack, Daler Rowney Aquafine watercolour paint brushes (4 pack- I used Round 4 and Round 1), Daler Rowney Aquafine Cold pressed NOT watercolour paper (sketched with Derwent Academy 12 sketching pencils, and Faber-Castell Dust Free Green Art Eraser).

Here is my completed Danger Mouse painting! Danger Mouse and Penfold are in a bit of a sticky situation. 🐭🐹

I used references to re-acquaint myself with the character proportions and colour palettes, but the character poses and painting composition were all by me (based on themes from the original show).
