Retribution stared up at his partner, wide eyed and hopeful. He'd just dropped a majorly important piece of information on him, and he was praying that this wouldn't result in anything bad. Famine stared back at him, his single sapphire eye light constricted and now no larger than a pin prick in his socket. The taller of the two drew in a shaky breath, his voice a raspy mumble, "Y-Ya... You're really sure, Ret?... Completely positive?" The former prince nodded, his response immediate, "I am. Here... You can take a look, if you want."

He summoned his royal violet, apple-shaped soul, drawing it out of his chest and delicately taking it in his hands, offering it to his partner. Famine's eyes widened a little more, and the instant he noticed the tiny white souling attached to the side of Ret's soul, his eye light vanished all together. With trembling hands, he reached out, accepting the former prince's soul as gently as possible. Bringing it closer to himself, he stared at the souling for what felt like forever, beginning to imagine what this meant for his future with Ret.

He pictured a tiny babybones that looked just like Retribution, swaddled in a blanket, and sleeping peacefully on his chest, and his eye light began to slowly fade back into visibility. Noticing how anxious Ret was beginning to look, he offered him a nervous smile, hoping to offer even a little bit of reassurance. He wasn't sure how this would even work yet, but... For Ret, he was willing try his best.

Famine: ya know what I learned from my friendship with Ret?

Pestilence: there's no such thing as too mean?

Death: Never let your friends know for sure if you like them?

Abrael: Always hold a grudge?
