Post Anaesthesia Water Retention.....a piss take. Honestly sitting on a toilet unable to pee, is frustrating and something they didn't ever warn me about the first time and this time under anaesthesia. Oh lordy it's agony. And I had a laparoscopy and a hysterctopy(they went up my cervix to take a biopsy of my uterus, by basically cranking the cervix open a little) so, i can't even relax my pelvic floors to pee, I can't feel them or if I flex them it hurts. And my usual trick of gently pushing is no joy because my wounds go through that vital area that I need to push. I'd rather be catheterised or be peeing myself it's ouchie.
