Bones. Bones.
How have you NEVER HEARD of The X-Files before? Very popular 90s TV show. Very. Very. Very Popular. Next you'll tell me you haven't heard of Xena: Warrior Princess.
Yes Mulder/Sculley was a ship. it was Such a huge ship that the ship *coined the phrase shipping*.
that is all thank you for coming to my mini-talk, this has been a brief foray into Fandom History. o7
Simply said, I was born in the 2000s, I don’t think I’ve ever heard X files ever mentioned besides in passing.
When I replied saying I was offline as a kiddo I truly meant it, ya girl only had books, the outdoors, and art as things to do. I think X Files is some supernatural/alien type thing right? That’s why it’s “X Files” because it’s what would be in conspiracy theory type censored government documents???
With the “check back for bites” thing, like are the aliens like zombies?
And what it COINED THE PHRASE SHIPPING? That’s so rad I absolutely have to read the history of that, that’s so incredibly neat my dude holy hell

Canon Bi Buck means everything to me. But also in looking at it through the lens of the shows narrative as a whole, if we’re right about it actually happening, I then don’t see the show ending without buddie going canon eventually. And sure it could happen by the end of this season (though a hint is more likely) , next season (more likely) or even when the show ends. Basically, in my opinion, if Buck is canonically bi, I have no doubts in my mind that one day buddie will happen too. And maybe they will elongate it to give Eddie the coming out arc he deserves too, if they’re doing one for Buck.

You ever see some posts that low key imply a character is going to die, so you just try to ignore it. You’re early in the show, some people kill off characters in fan works just because that character almost died and not because they actually died, died. But the amount of content of them being dead is still concerning and now you’re later into the show and you still haven’t even seen anything about this supposed death. As a matter a fact this show has kind of shown it doesn’t make sense for anyone to permanently die. But you haven’t forgotten all those posts you saw about them being dead. So one day out of pure morbidity curiosity you cave and just look it up. And it turns out they do die in the next couple episodes you were going to watch soon. And instead of this actually being a relief as now you actually have an answer you’re just kind of pissed off because WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY KILLED MY FAVORITE CHARACTER?!?
But yeah anyways that ever happen to you? Because that certainly didn’t just happen to me. No sir.

nakashima’s first few episodes are so interesting to me bc. like. they’re good, mostly! they’re generally very effective at setting the tone of the show, establishing characters’ personalities and motivations, and dropping information about the world and lore of the show that will absolutely become relevant by the end without feeling TOO infodump-y. but also. they just are really not it 😭 like the first few episodes of kill la kill are a huge turn off even for a lot of ppl who love the show. i genuinely Do Not Understand ppl who prefer ttgl’s first half because post timeskip is when things just really get so so SO good for me. like i KNOW i love this dude’s work; it’s changed my life in the past and frankly is still changing my life every day and yet i sit there like 🤨 every time i’m not feeling 100% of it within the first five minutes LMAO

Nick really is pure of heart, dumb of ass.
He saw Charlie sending a bunch of blank texts, thought it was a glitch, and turned his phone off because he couldn’t bare to see Charlie’s name on the screen, but never once thought, “maybe he’s trying to talk to me and my phone, that’s old and and I dropped down the stairs, is acting up so I should go talk to him.”
Sir, go get your man and a new phone!!

I have many criticisms of tales of the jedi, but the main one is… why ? What’s the point of rehashing the comics and novels that much ? If that was to answer questions, people could look for the comics. Lots of these anecdotes felt redundant, things we could already easily deduct from previous media to me.
Also I’m not gonna lie I love the prequel era as much as the next guy but I’m tired 90%of the animated shows being set in it and recreating scenes of it. Feels like nostalgiabait more than a genuine exploration of the time period. I am also getting tired of lines being added for the sole purpose of getting people to point and shout like master like padawan !! Meaningless repetitions driving a point already made many times. The history of the Jedi spans so much more time than those 13 years we already have 3movies and hours of shows about, and harbours so much more diversity than the 6 members of the disaster lineage can ever exemplify, but it’s their stories that get told over and over the highest budget projects of Star Wars. Tell me a tale of high republic jedi, tell me about Luke’s student at his temple, tell me something long after the sequel trilogy, tell me the myths of the old republic. Why call it Tales of the Jedi as if it was about the Jedi as a whole if it’s gonna be tales of that one specific lineage
