It's interesting how many divergent vues Beryl and Echo have, like for identity for exemple
Beryl suffered from being her, from being Eunji and from being a Lee. To a point she left everything she knew and tried to start anew somewhere else, to the point she started telling people her name was Beryl (not Eunji). She'd rather not be anyon than be her, because she is terrible
While Echo, as a clone, cherishs his identity, it's the proof he is not just another digit. He loves all the things that makes him... Him, his name, his armour, heck anything he sort of owns! Identity is reassuring to him, because he is someone

So yesterday I rewatched Groundhog Day (one of my favorite movies btw) and, just like whenever I watch any romantic comedy, my brain screamed Becho. And like there's that scene where the woman "buys" the guy (not really the money goes to charity and all) and then they talk about it and the girl's like "You know I paid a high price for you". And I remembered the "I'm worth more than 2000 credits" ligne from Echo. And now I imagine smth like in the movie happening and Beryl's like "You were really expensive you know?" And Echo says "Oh please you got me for a bargain" and they laugh

When they do it's all the bottle spealing out. It's screaming, and hands in the air. It's "You think you know this better than I do?", "I don't think it! I know it", "Oh please!". It's teary eyes and death stares. It's degenerating into personal arguments... It's saying things you didn't want to and hurt the other. It's not realizing it on the moment and regretting it later on. It's storming out of the room leaving the other crumbling in sadness and anger. It's hating yourself more than the other afterward. It's sad looks from afar and avoiding each other. It's not talking it throught for a long time because you're persuaded you're right. But yet hurting because of it...
