“I was the son of vagrant living in the mountain, and one day I was abandoned. I was raised by my adoptive parents. Although I didn’t really think that it was a weakness of mine there were some people who wished I would consider it painful. How come you are not unhappy? Aren’t you someone who used to live in a cabin the mountain? Your father was a hobo, wasn’t he? Should I be unhappy and sad, just as these people want? I thought about it for a long while, but no. My conclusion was that there are people I am grateful to, and I don’t particularly have any reasons to be unhappy. Anyhow, now this is all in past.”

THE WOLF'S SILVER EYEBROW
One day, he met a wolf on a mountain. Giving one of his eyelashes to the boy, the wolf said: "Sly monkeys, cunning foxes, mean pigs, and evil raccoons. The boy saw no real people in the world.
In the end, he decided to look for a place where real people lived.
Hae Won: "Did he find such a place?
Eun seob: No, he couldn't find one anywhere. He could not find any place where real people lived, so the boy eventually lived alone in loneliness and died.
Hae Won: I feel so sorry for him.
Eun seob: For who?
Hae Won: That boy with the wolf's silver eyelash. He must've been lonely. Terribly, and awfully lonely. How cold must that boy have been?
Eun seob: What can we do for that boy?
Hae Won: We should hug him. Hug him as hard as we can with all our might, so he could feel warm."

Update Kabar
Kebetulan gue berencana ambil dua role. Sebagai programmer dan sebagai storywriter.
Nah, setelah cukup lama mencari arah tentang skill menulis gue enaknya dikembangin kemana......akhirnya gue jatuh cinta banget sama Narrative Design di game.
Sekarang berasa nemu momen buat punya cita-cita lagi.
Sorry ya cerita gue ngalor ngidul banget. Gue nulis di tumblr lagi tuh beneran berasa kayak nemu temen lama wkwk. Pengen cerita buanyaak.
When The Weather is Fine.
Sementara temen gue tuh kiblatnya anime.
Setiap orang punya style masing-masing. Tapi gue happy banget ketemu orang yang bisa sefrekuensi pas diajak bahas cerita meskipun style kami jauh berbeda.

Eun Seob's twin siblings and their names.
The kids are always referred to as "the twins" or "은비 까비 (Eun Bi and Kka Bi)" in the show, but the boy's name is not actually "Kka Bi"; it is a nickname.
Tumblr media
In the 90s, there was this Korean cartoon show called "은비 까비의 옛날 옛적에," which could be roughly translated to "Eun Bi & Kka Bi and the stories from a long, long time ago." The fairy girl with purple hair is Eun Bi, and the goblin (도깨비) boy with a tiny yellow cap is Kka Bi.
Tumblr media
Then what is "Jo Kka Bi"'s real name? It is 은우 (Eun Woo). You can find it on the character profile pages of the show (above). So the Jo siblings are: Eun Seob, Eun Bi and Eun Woo.

Why You Need to Watch When the Weather is Fine
Starring: Park Min Young, Seo Kang Joon, Lee Jae Wook Synopsis Mok Hae Won (Park Min Young) is sick of the big city bullshit and returns to the small town where she spent her high school years and meets her old classmate Eun Seob (Seo Kang Joon). She decided to take a break from the rat race in Seoul and stay until the weather is nice. The story and the plot itself is simple and understated but…

Touch Your Heart / Reach of Sincerity (2019)
Tumblr media
I really liked this show. It was fun, quirky and cute with a few heavy moments to keep the show grounded. Not a headliner, but something you can put on and just hang out with for an hour or so and still enjoy.
What Worked
Yoo In-na carried the show. She was just a super cute ball of charm, and all the scenes with her and Lee Dong-wook (who not exactly grumpy, but definitely uptight) were great. This was the happy version of the same couple from Goblin, and I was there for it. The supporting cast was great as well, though only Oh Jung-se's performance was super memorable for me.
What Didn't Work
This show is not very realistic. Most of the time that works, but once in awhile a plot line or a scene will kind of fall flat. Also, I personally didn't like the Choi Yoon-hyuk / Dan Moon-hee pairing. The actors were fine on their own, but a bit too much together.
The Performances
Yoo In-na as Oh Jin-shim / Oh Yoon-seo, AKA "The Talent". Yoo In-na was so much fun to watch. She is just a really great comic actor who knows all about timing and has tons of charm.
Lee Dong-wook as Kwon Jung-rok, AKA "the Ace Attorney". It's funny how you can see him playing an angel of death in one series, and a straitlaced lawyer in another and they somehow end up being very similar characters. I still enjoyed watching him, especially when he was able to open up towards the end of the series, but the character felt very familiar to me after seeing Goblin.
Oh Jung-se as Yeon Joon-kyu, AKA "Fanboy CEO". I liked Oh Jung-se in this. His character was talking, extremely petty, and very funny. May favorite role for him since maybe IOK2NBOK.
Lee Sang-woo as Kim Se-won, AKA "The Bestie". He was billed as the second lead, but this felt more like a supporting role. I enjoyed him when he was there, especially his banter with Lee Dong-wook's character and the whole arc for him, but I didn't miss him when he was off screen.
Son Seong-yoon as Yoo Yeo-reum, AKA "Bestie's Ex". I liked this character, but the show didn't do much with the character arc, overall. Nice, but not memorable.
Jang So-yeon as Yang Eun-ji, AKA "Office Mom". I enjoyed seeing this actor again after her much bigger role in Something in the Rain. I don't like the arc they gave her, but it didn't really detract from the show, just kind of went nowhere.
Park Ji-hwan as Lee Doo-seob, AKA "Secret Poet". I liked seeing this actor, after watching him in Our Blues. I really related to this character, but they didn't really do much with him (other than a small love arc). Another case where they had a really good actor in a quiet role.
Oh Eui-shik as Kong Hyuk-joon, AKA "the Manager". It was fun seeing this guy play off of the other characters, but he was mostly there for comic relief and sometimes moving the plot forward. Not super memorable.
Everyone Else. The rest of the office staff was good, but not memorable. The guy that played the stalker / chaebol crook (Jay Kim) did a good job, but I was kind of glad when they moved past that plot line. I didn't like the "Black Widow" murder plot, but the actors did okay with what they were given.
TL; DR:
A charming romp with two amazing leads, and a good cast of supporting actors that didn't get much attention. But the fireworks from the leads were more than enough to carry the show.

Rambling About a Show (08/13/2022)
Tumblr media
⚠️SPOILER!?⚠️
This is another drama I started because I saw an edit on tiktok that piqued my interest. (First time that happened was a Gwi edit, The Scholar Who Walks the Night). Anyhoo, I enjoyed the storyline, the action, the romance, and the drama. I started this on Wednesday (08/10/2022) and finished it today. Here's my rambling.
So, before Court Lady Noh Ok-nam mentioned anything about chaos and it's revealed a version of Jeong Tae eul exists in Lee Gon's universe. I kept questioning if her being in the Kingdom of Corea creates some sort of paradox or something. Same with when Lee Gon is in her universe. Also, later on when Jeong Tae Eul ask Na-ri what she would do if she had met another version of herself. Na-ri's response is shocking but also she's got a point. However, that does not mean I condone in murder. It just means I agree with the whole two versions of one person shouldn't coexist in the same universe, because it messes with the balance of everything.
There were so many plot twists. My favorite is when it's revealed that Lee Gon's older self is the one who saved his younger self on the night of the treason. I had figured it was either Jo Yeong or Luna.
Lee Jung-jin did an amazing job portraying Lee Lim, one of the villains that I couldn't stand. I think Jung Eun-chae also did a fantastic job as Minister Goo. The funny thing is, I instantly didn't like Minister Goo when she first appeared. As I continued on, she showed that I had a good reason not to like her. She is power hunger, manipulative, rude, and wants to be in control. Lee Lim, he just wanted power and eternity, still pretty evil. Also can't forget that he killed his brother and attempted to murder his nephew, Lee Gon. So, both characters are pretty evil and unsettling.
I got emotional when Lee Gon figured everything out towards the end, and also figured out he might not be able to return to Jeong Tae Eul. There was also a possibility that Jeong Tae Eul may not have memories of Lee Gon. Which honestly broke my heart. Also when Jo Eun seob and Jo Yeong said goodbye, that scene made me emotional.
I wanted to talk about the cinematography towards the end of episode 11 and into episode 12. I personally felt that him and his guards riding into the scene on horseback made it all the more powerful and emotional. Sure, they could have pulled up in their royal vehicles, but it wouldn't have as much of impact as the horses. That's just my personally opinion. It also looked like an extremely cool shot. Gotta hand it to the entire crew and actors for producing such a gorgeous and impactful scene. Another powerful scene I was mesmerized by was when Lee Gon and Jo Yeong went back to the night of the treason togethr. Their entrance there was amazing.
I recognized several of the actors from other dramas I have watched. Kim Yong-ji (Na-ri), first character I saw her portray was Yuri in Tale iof the Nine-Tailed. Kim Go-eun (Jeong Tae eul), first character I saw her portray was Ji Eun-tak in Goblin/Guardian The Lonely and Great God. Lee Min-ho (Lee Gon), first character I saw him portray was Goo Jun-pyo in Boys Over Flowers (currently watching that whenever I visit my bestie). Jeon Moo-song (Prince Buyeong/Lee Jong-in), first character I saw him portray was Veteran Lee Young-cheon in episode 6 of Tomorrow.
I should also recognize Kim Young-ok (Court Lady Noh Ok-nam) from an episode of Tomorrow, but I don't. 😳 I saw Kang Ki-doong (Secretary Kim) in Prison Playbook as Prison Officer Song. I was wondering why Kim Kyung-nam (Shin-jae) seemed familiar but couldn't place his face until now. He portrayed Lee Joon-dol in Prison Playbook. That character is vastly different from Shin-jae, hence why I couldn't pin point where I've seen him before. I admit I have seen The Divine Fury, Woo Do-hwan (Jo Yeon) portrayed Ji-sin in that film, but it's been awhile since I've seen that film so I forgot about it. 😫
I admit there is so much I love about this drama. But as usually I'm only rambling about everything that stuck out the most to me. This was definitely worth the watch.
