the boots of blinding speed trick: 1. Buy a Resist Magicka spell (Arrille in Seyda Neen sells one) 2. Join the Mage's Guild in Balmora 3. Go to Estirdalin and make your own spell (100% Resist Magicka on Self for 1-2 seconds) 4. Find Pemenie on the road north of Suran heading toward Gnisis. Do her quest or just kill her to get the boots of blinding speed (+200 speed, +100 blindness) 5. Cast the 100% Resist Magicka spell on yourself and immediately put the boots on. Voila! You resisted the blindness effect but not the speed bonus effect. You're faster than anything in the game now.
