Had the pleasure of being commissioned to make cards for these 3 babes and complete the set!
You can actually find these cards as well as all the peaches on my store now, link in bio 💖

Hello, fruits! This March we are running a fanwork event to shine the spotlight on Max and her community. The prompts are loose suggestions—we just hope you will take this opportunity to focus your love, time, and effort and Max and characters from her half of the story. Go forth and create !!!
Tag your works with #marchmaxness23 or #maxmadness23 and we will share and save them here!

hate the way that last post turned out so here's my interpretation on how out fans would write their signature bc I think the Canon is wrong (I'm aware it's not but it makes me sad)
Greta's is so sophisticated and she LOVES IT like that.
Carson tried really really hard to make hers look cool and edgy and different- "it's for the fans greta!".
Jess writes ike a child because honestly you don't need to write all that well when you live on a farm. Sure, she could probably practice but she won't.
Lupe did though, she wrote it time and time again just waiting for someone to ask for her autograph lmaoooo.
Maybelle did write her full name to begin with but then she got the "southern belle" nickname in the league and just ended up with 'belle. She'd usually put a doodle, ESPECIALLY if its a kid.
Jo tries, but baseballs just aren't made for writing on, and the pen almost always dies when she has to sign something so she ends up with the little "test lines" next to it (historically ppl think they're like cool cartoon speed lines but they're wrong)
Shirley freaks tf out when people ask her and ALWAYS draws a line because "I feel bad if it isn't straight the asymettery would make you anxious and then that would make me anxious and-"
Esti definitely gets overexcited when someone asks and starts to write it MASSIVELY cos she wants everyone to know she signed someone's ball today BUT it always gets too big and she has to squeeze the last letters in.
Max would start out writing her full name, then shorten it to max, then just to M because goddammit she's the best player in her league she can't be spending 14 hours signing balls when she's got a call with Clance in 10 mins.
Ana likes stars. idk why, there is literally no proof, I just feel like she does.
Terri sometimes does doodles with hers too, but mostly just does her name. she'll put some hearts and stupid stuff next to it usually.
Esther gave up even trying to autograph nicely ages ago, she just has her last name now 😭 she still keeps it tidy though because "yes I am a woman who plays baseball, but that don't mean I ain't civilised enough to give a NEAT autograph"

Max: Until I fell in love with you, I thought my attraction to women was purely physical.
Esther: So you were gay... and then you realized that you were Even More Gay.

on the one hand i think it would be hilarious for aloto to have real lesbian representation in the form of having different messy and complicated relationships and break-ups and get-back-togethers in the spirit of the l word. on the other hand if esther and max ever broke up i would burn down amazon studios myself.

a series of kitchens
Rating: E
Words: 17.4k
Status: 1/1
—
Summary:
“I believe in tables to sit at,” Greta tells her, reaching across the distance for Carson’s hand, turning it face up, tracing the lines of her palm. “Someone to sit with.”
“Oh..." Carson breathes, curling her fingers in softly. Greta trembles a little, scared of what she’ll say, and Carson feels it. She squeezes her grip, smiling. “Me too,” she says, swallowing. “I believe in that too. Someone to- to be with.”
“Yeah?” Greta asks shyly. Carson reaches to tuck her hair behind her ear, cupping her jaw so that Greta will look at her.
“Yeah,” she replies.
And at this kitchen table, something shifts between them. The light hits Greta’s blush differently as they look at each other, and Carson hasn’t stopped smiling since they started talking. This beating heart of the Rockford house - where the Peaches gather and laugh and drink and eat - holds them in all of its softness, watches them quietly in their falling and knows that they will catch each other. There is nothing more wonderful than being held this way, than feeling at home.
(Or, the story of Greta and Carson growing up and growing older together, how they change and become, as told by the kitchens they occupy throughout their lives.)

So, you still want that autograph?
Sure. You might be somebody someday.
I like the way that sounds. But I don’t have a pen.
And I don’t have a ball.
