This one is how I'm intending to fill the there were so many beds prompt for the Worst Fic Prompts I've been working my way through, and it's my first attempt at writing in third person omniscient, so it's still a little choppy and sloppy and will need a wee bit of editing, but here's a little bit with not much going on except them finding the place with too many beds:

If it hadn’t been so hot and humid, it would have been even nicer because it reminded Ronan of home.
Then they reached the neighborhood, which wasn’t a neighborhood at all. The elm-lined street hadn’t been a street. It was a driveway, and at the end of it was a brick wall with a wrought iron gate built into it that stopped them dead in their tracks.
On the other side of the gate was what could only be called an estate. Both boys had encountered affluence, Ronan from personal experience, and Adam by association, but neither of them had seen anything as disgustingly wealthy as the house on the other side of the gate. The garage was bigger than the double-wide Adam grew up in and the stables were larger than any of the barns at Ronan’s family farm. The whole thing was a gross display of wealth that Adam detested because it was everything he’d wanted and Ronan hated because it was new and made to look old, which he thought was cheating. But it was gated, and even from a distance they could see all the windows and doors were intact, two layers of protection J.Crew hadn’t offered them with its broken windows and shattered doors.
“I guess it’ll do,” Adam said. It’d more than do. It’d be the nicest place they’d stayed since they left Cambridge, and it was far from main roads and highways, so it’d be one of the safest places they’d stayed, too. It’d also be better than finding somewhere else to stay for the night and dealing with more shambling zombies or, worse, groups of rednecks armed to the gills.
