i keep thinking about brokeback mountain and what it was like for ennis after jack died. like imagine how upset he was everytime he saw something that remotely reminded him of jack. or before he died and how much jack thought about ennis in his free time or while he was driving away from him, and how sad he was. and do you think ennis went back to jacks parents,, or do you think he got too upset because they would remind him of jack too much... do you think ennis ever hugged jacks coat to sleep.

And lastly, to me, while nick and jack look similar, nick has ennis’ energy and ellis has jack’s energy. That movie made me cry tho so if you dont want ro cry, watch up until they have to part or idk stop like 20 minutes before the ending lmao.

After all this time finding out there is a Brokeback Mountain opera and libretto written by Annie Proulx which puts into words Ennis’ last thoughts at the end of the ‘I swear...’ scene. I am stricken.
