This is from the season 3 extras of the Endeavour Complete Series DVD set. It shows Shaun Evans apparently being rigged up with a SnorriCam, but only 'Canticle' from season 4 seems to have used a shot like this (when Endeavour has been drugged at the end of the episode). Does anyone know what episode this behind the scenes shot was for? It looks like it should be for 'Prey', but there wasn't a shot like this in the episode that I can recall.

So…one of the lovely souls in my Morseverse server went on a trip to Oxford yesterday and very kindly provided these lovely pictures from the filming of Endeavour.
We all got very over excited and she is definitely our hero for being brave enough to approach Shaun who, for such a busy bee, was so kind to allow a photo even though he was done for the day.
Said friend wishes to remain anonymous so she shall simply be known on here as I. W. L.
Please wish her luck in her upcoming exams! She sacrificed a day of studying to bring us these pics 😍

Is the aim of every Endeavour season finale just to rip my heart out of my chest, throw it on the ground, and grind it to powder beneath someone’s heel???
#thursday right at the brink of falling down the path of vengeance??#everyone turning on Morse for various reasons and him mostly putting up with it until they’ve gone too far and he SNAPS??#morse realizing he’s in love with Joan right before she LEAVES???#the ACTING in that scene MY GOSH#you can see the heartbreak#Sean evans does an excellent job at playing him but one of my favorite things he does is that when Morse gets extremely emotional he#makes him turn away or fidget or rub at his face or cough or do anything he can to hold himself together because he doesn’t even know how#to even EXIST in this moment#it’s all too much#and things like this always seem to happen to him but he can’t ever become numb to it#it just punches him in the gut over and over again but he just…takes it#the clear father-son parallel of Thursday seeing Morse standing behind the bus he just sent his own son off on#and then that shattering into pieces when THURSDAY basically infers that this was only meant to be temporary and tells Morse to get out of#his house?? his disbelief??#and when Thursday TURNS AWAY in that last shot I—#yeah I did a lot of screaming GET OUT OF MY HOUSE this episode#endeavour#endeavour series 3#endeavour morse#I FORGOT TO MENTION THURSDAY JUST CASUALLY COUGHING UP THAT BULLET WHAT
