Even though they had talked things out between them and tried to return back to their usual state, there was a somewhat heavy air that had settled between Elliot and Thea. He was trying his best to push it away, to focus on the relationship he had with her rather than what he could not give her. So today he knew that supporting her at the stand was what he could, and should, do. He made his way towards the Holy Spirit stand whilst the Charity Dunk Tank was in full swing. "Hey T," he said as he approached her from behind, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her against him. "I brought you some snacks, in case you're getting peckish."

Once the New Years festivities were over and Selvi was back to the loving arms of her mother, Jacob found himself being done with everything he needed for the weekend and then, after shooting Elliot a quick text to check where he was and if he was free, the investor grabbed a few things he needed and then made his way to his best friend's house.
Suffice to say, congratulations were in order and a proper celebration from his part, was too. In all honesty, Hoon couldn't be happier for Elliot and Thea. He'd like to think he knew the duo pretty well, having dated one in high school and having been best friends with the other since, pretty much, well... forever? Yeah, of course he was happy they'd found each other.
"Morning, sunshine! You ready to celebrate your newest life update?" He asked while raising the champagne bottle he'd brought.

With the holiday season over, one of the best holiday seasons of her life, she felt like she needed a good date with Elliot. And what was most exciting was that this was their first date as an engaged couple. There were times where she just sat there and stared at her ring for what felt like hours, trying to wrap her mind around all the last few weeks had in store for them. She let out a hum of satisfaction at the pot roast she'd ordered, giving him a nod to let him know just how good it was. "You want to try some? I think you're going to wish you ordered this, that's how good it was." Thea tried ignoring the fact that it was a dish most likely prepared by Foster; who had been rather weird the last time she saw him. Looking towards Elliot she smiled as she finally felt like she should broach the subject. "Okay...so, I know this may be something you're not interested in doing, and if you're not you can tell me, but I thought maybe we could do our engagement party on Valentine's Day."

Midnight was soon approaching, and CJ could tell that there was a shift in the crowd, bodies moving closer to whoever they were desperately hoping would give them that New Year's kiss. For once, CJ wasn't too bothered, using this time to make a beeline for the bar area that was slowly thinning out. On his way, he spotted a familiar face, fist bump out ready in greeting. "Hey, man! It's like, ten minutes to midnight - I'd say you better find Thea, but I guess she's not hard to spot tonight, right?"

Lors du voyage d’Elliot Costello au Cambodge, il a rencontré une jeune fille nommée Thea ainsi qu’un groupe d’autres personnes. Il ne se doutait pas que cette rencontre l'affecterait profondément et conduirait au début d'un mouvement visant à mettre fin aux abus sexuels sur les enfants. Thea portait toujours du vernis à ongles sur ses petits ongles. Un jour, alors qu'elle discutait avec Elliot, elle lui a demandé de peindre un de ses ongles. Il a accepté avec joie et a aimé parler à la fille bavarde. Cependant, il a découvert plus tard qu'elle avait été victime d'abus sexuels dans le passé. Elliot a mentionné que lorsqu'elle peignait un de mes ongles, il avait promis de toujours le garder ainsi pour se souvenir d'elle et, par extension, de sa souffrance. La motivation d’Elliot l’a poussé à œuvrer en faveur d’un changement positif chez les hommes, dans le but de réduire le nombre d’enfants victimes d’abus sexuels

Knowing he was a lawyer, Cam wondered if his visit was about the contract she had prepared for Thea. She finished up in the back and made her way to the bar, greeting Elliot with a bright and friendly smile. "Hello there, Mr. Chapman. It's a pleasure seeing you again. Can I offer you something to drink?"

He had gone over the whole thing in his head a thousand times. Had spend hours and hours thinking about whether he should do it. He'd spoke to his parents, Thea's father, and ruminated over it again and again. Then he had spent days preparing for it all. He wanted it to be perfect and yet as he sat down on Thea's couch, he wondered whether this was enough. Should he have done this at a fancy restaurant? Should he have done it somewhere in public? Would Thea not like it? What if she didn't? He could feel the bile rising up in his throat as he got up, pacing around the living room for what seemed to be the millionth time. Elliot's eyes darted up at the large wall hung clock. She should be up by now. It was a busy night at the speakeasy yesterday but she was always awake by now.
A part of him wanted to go to their bedroom and check up on her. But he didn't want to give away the surprise. He'd kept things subtle - he did not want her to think this was anything but a Christmas morning where they were going to open their presents before going over to his parents' house. And damn, the hot cocoa he had prepared for her was going to get cold. He really should have done this over champagne and a fancy dinner under the stars. It was too late to back out of it now as she walked into the room. "Merry Christmas baby. I hope you're ready to open presents because this hot cocoa is not going to stay warm for long."

I’m assuming business is booming? How’s Elliot?” She was desperate for someone to give her something good. Between her own life and the cases she worked, her happy stories were running short. “Just give me something good. I need it almost as much as I need my drink.”

It was early morning which meant she was here getting the space ready for the Amelie's crew to come over. Emmy had let her know that her head chef would be there before she could get there, but not to worry about it too much. Thea had done a clearing out yesterday morning before going to the amusement park with Elliot, but she wanted to make sure everything was in order and if the head chef had any questions of where things were that they could ask her. The back door opened and shut, and she pushed it open only to be met by Foster. Her brows furrowed in instant confusion. "Uh, hi...the brunch isn't until later, Foster." She hadn't expected to even see the man considering after their last talk he'd pretty much made it clear he wasn't interested in mending their friendship. So why was he here now?
