I stream my Art and Games sometimes.~

I am a queer Illustrator I draw fan and original content. I also play games that interest me. I am considering moving off twitch but I am unsure if I should. I am very small and don't have a large following.

Twitch is where I currently stream, but I have issues with the fact that I like to draw smutty things and the platform is prudish (unless your a hot rl chick with pasties on and sitting in a blow up pool in their living room). But I just really like the interactive tools on the platform. But I just don't like twitch as a company, and frankly they continue to make shitty decisions. I'm growing very uncomfortable there. and their customer service is fucking pathetic.

youtube is very behind on the times and getting to the point of being able to have some of the features twitch has it takes much more to just get to be able to have emotes. and again. prudish. I am a super small artist getting to that point would take a lot, and I just want cute emotes. >.< plus side being, I already sometimes upload my progress videos and shorts are growing popular so that's a nice tiktok alternative and I like the idea of keeping things together in one place.

Picarto is not prudish and is aimed more towards art but you can stream games on there making it a wonderful option I feel. I focus heavily on smutty art so I just really like that aspect of it. Drawback is in order to have the features you want, ( and they aren't not even twitch level) you have to pay a subscription, in the long run if people support you then it could sort of pays for itself but. I just hate subscription models and I'm not sure if financially I would make more money there or not. I also would be more limited as to what I could stream on any other platform due to prudish terms.

Kick, sort of a controversial option but I have heard mixed things about it. some people are worried that a lot of twitch outcasts flocked there. and some people say they have made a wonderful community there. I am not sure if its prudish and I know one of the backers for the site is heavy into gambling, even though the platform itself doesn't exactly promote gambling (from what I have seen). its pretty much a clone of twitch so I expect it to have some of the same features but I haven't given it any sort of attempt yet, so I am unsure.

All in all I'm very torn. I haven't streamed in over a month, not because I don't want to, but because I just really want to find my home where I feel safe and comfy and I just don't know if twitch is that for me...

Small announcement ~~

With my last exams just around the corner and my vacation right after I decided to go on a small break with this blog for the duration as well
