¿Historias cortas para no dormir y así no tener pesadillas?
Larry Silver es un fotógrafo estadounidense. Nació en el Bronx en en 1934. Mientras estudiaba en la Escuela Superior de Arte Industrial de Manhattan, se reunió con miembros de Photo League, entre ellos Lou Bernstein, W. Eugene Smith y Weegee.
Ganó un primer premio en los Scholastic-Ansco Photography Awards y una beca para el Art Center School en Los Ángeles. Silver toma fotografías en blanco y negro, principalmente documentando los lugares que ha vivido: Santa Monica Beach, California; Nueva York; y Westport, Connecticut.
El trabajo de Silver se encuentra en varias colecciones, incluidas las del Museo Metropolitano de Arte, el Museo de Brooklyn, la Casa George Eastman, el Museo Whitney de Arte Americano, el Museo de Bellas Artes de Boston y el Instituto de Artes de Minneapolis.
Su trabajo ha sido mostrado en muchas exposiciones individuales y grupales.
