Link is in my bio. #extremeviolin #philipglass After working on so many VR and extended reality projects the past few years, I really wanted to try it out and make something myself. So I picked up a VR camera (big thanks to my friends at @youtube) and a @zoomsoundlab VR ambisonic mic - the equipment is so small and amazingly portable - and hit up one of my favorite spots in the world, the San Juan Islands. Hiking out to some of these remote beaches and knolls you see here in the film wasn't always easy...but a few scrapes and a couple of near misses later, here it is! You can watch in stereoscopic 180-degree virtual reality using your phone with or without a headset, and also on your desktop. Philip Glass - Einstein on the Beach It’s the Liner Notes Birthday! I’ve been doing this for a full year if you can believe it. Here’s a special record I’ve been saving for the right occasion. A big ol’ boxed set, four records, a booklet with extensive notes about the opera and its first performance, and all the original CBS sleeves baby. Word on the street is that Philip Glass is coming to Halifax for the Scotia Festival of Music. It’s unclear to me what he’ll be doing but I plan on carrying this boxset around all week and trying to get it signed.
