taekook being awkward is not a narrative. it's something that they've acknowledged about themselves personally and anyone with eyes and isn't willfully blind to their vibe can see it.

tae and jk are good friends, that much i can confess. they're the two youngest, they have similar hobbies such as gaming and stuff, they now share the same group of friends as well with jk going out with the wooga squad. but taekook are not close on deep personal level, like, at all.

they never hang out alone, we all noticed that, and whenever they do, they're awkward and don't know what to talk about or do with their bodies. it's like they're trying to force a conversation or an interaction. their interactions seem normal to me and not awkward at all when they're among a group of people, like bts members or others. but only the two of them? ehh... that 2020 vlive was painful to watch. and the IG live from this year... oh lord they talked about the weather. bam and jk had more chemistry.

every outing we've seen of them this pst year has been with others too, with hobi in vegas, with jihope at the LA harry styles concert, with the wooga squad multiple times this year, with park hyunsik at the latest harry styles concert, etc. when tae mentioned gaming with jk at his home, they were doing it with friends as well. and before any dumb tkkr says "the atomix date. or the trip they went on together", all bts members were at the atomix restaurant and the restaurant staff confirmed it, stop spreading misinfo. as for the trip, there's no definite confirmation that they went alone. we literally don't know that and i'm not gonna use tkkrs theories or assumptions here, this is all facts.

the movie premiere day, they went to support one of the woogas and hung out with them after, but the little moment where they both were on the carpet alone was so awkward they didn't know what to do, and tae even nudged jk to guide him but jk asked "what?" in a way that (if you can read body language) showed he isn't used to tae talking to him directly. ntm jk looking miserable on the wlive he did after the premiere but that's a conversation for another day.

the point is, we are still yet to see taekook hang out 1 on 1 without looking like they'd rather be anywhere else. mayhaps they prove me wrong ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

„taekook are not close on deep personal level” That’s so true. They are a lot better friends now, but their emotional connection is lacking.

People who are shipping them or think they are dating are only sexualizing their friendship. Objectively (yes, objectively) they don’t have any chemistry, deeper connection and they have different personalities and lives.

ah sorry my dear, i went a wee bit insane in the way that an unethical 20th century therapist would have loved to have written an exploitative book about. luckily lobotomies aren't practiced in the uk anymore so instead i had to go on a whole healing journey through a combination of therapy, medication and the power of friendship. ive been slaying again the past few months so whoopee i love to have both feet in reality once again ^-^

i would really like to go back and finish my ongoing projects but tbh i have no idea if & when I'll ever write go back to sp fic for like ehh Reasons that are gross and boring ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯ then again maybe I'll wake up tomorrow with the insatiable urge to write about foul mouthed colorado kids! Dentist had to do a deep cleaning. Now I need a a wisdom tooth removed. I don't like going to dentist. Wish my bestie(lil bro) was here for next time I go for support.
