Thinking about how q slime was one of the first to leave for the boat bc he needed to get home to flippa…

It’s not like he was ever close to any of the other eggs, or to any of the residents. Yes he has his fun with them, but when it mattered most he didn’t get any help, at least not the help he needed, and no one pushed hard enough and quick enough for him to truly acknowledge what he needed.

Hes not a good person, certainly not, but is anyone on the island really a good person?

And in the two weeks that he became so close with all of team bolas, in his mind it’s still him versus everyone.

It’s not that he doesn’t care for the other eggs, but none of them are flippa, and if they aren’t her then whats the point in risking his life for one that doesn’t matter.

It’s not out of cowardice that he ran, he doesn’t really care about his own life, it’s about making sure that juanaflippa isn’t alone, making sure she’s safe.

Even though in the end, he knows she’s not his juanaflippa, it’s still something, someone, to live for.

I think we should bring back The Order or at least have a bulletin board because yesterday nobody told Q!Foolish about Empanada's death OR that people are looking for Luffy.

If there was some sort of way to update people on what's been happening on the island, then more people could easily know what to do and come up with ways to counter it without having one group of people being confused. (I understand that b/c some people work for the Federation people's trust might be weary but also this particular situation as nothing to do with the Federation so...)

Q mariana loved juanaflippa very much AND WAS THE BETTER PARENT!!! He was distraught at flippas deaths each and every time, he was also the one flippa spent the most time w (iirc)! You can literally SEE how distraught q mariana was at the funeral! He wasnt cold or mean or abusive! STOP ACTING LIKE HE WAS.

Q slime isnt just a silly goofy guy! This is someone that was abused as a child, and didn’t/doesnt realize it! Because of this he isnt a great parent, BUT WHEN FLIPPA TELLS HIM SHE DOESNT FEEL GOOD, OR THAT WHAT HES DOING IS BAD HE STOPS. Something something breaking the cycle of abuse!!! He has SH tendencies and is actively becoming something wrong, and isnt seeking help for it at all!

Idk about you, but i have the basic understanding that most characters are more than what i see (in terms of povs i dont watch) and thus, i dont spread misinfo about them or their partnerships (platonic or romantic) so why is it that non goombertos/slimeriana fans dont that for q slime and q mariana????

I'm actually unbelievably unwell about Etoiles character you don't understand. He's always been a sword, protecting by attacking first, by fighting back, offense as the best defense. He jokes a lot about dying for the island, dramatic and half sarcastic, but there's truth in his jests. He would kill, and he would die, for his daughter, for the rest of the eggs, for the safety of everyone on the island. He does not hesitate, for what good would that do him?

Then he gets the shield, and it changes the entire game. And while he can still kill to protect the island, he can no longer truly die for them.

His role is functionally the same - he draws attention to himself, he's just as ready for a fight as he's always been, he fights the codes to protect the island - but its the difference between a sword and a shield, because of his literal shield.

He's the only solid defense between the codes and the island, and all the eggs. The only one who can tank the hits and negate the effects of their crazy powerful swords.

A sword cannot hesitate, but a shield must consider it - he cannot take risks when he’s fighting in the Colosseum, because if he dies he’d lose the shield. He cannot risk attacking the fake Pomme without hesitation, not until he’s sure beyond a shadow of a doubt that it’s not his real daughter.

A shield must be sturdy. It must hold up under pressure. It must stay strong and reliable, no matter the circumstance - as the eggs go missing and everyone else crumbles, Etoiles cannot follow suit. He will play his part and defend the island, shouldering what the others cannot, because who else will do what he does?

To lose the shield would not only mean to lose himself, but to lose his family. He cannot fall without failing the entire island, his loss would mean disaster, for who is he if he’s not standing between the ones he loves and the monsters that threaten them?

He's as much a shield as the one he carries.

I was thinking about how to design the new eggy and I was like, "we have already a lot of cute designs for all the children, why not make the new one a little bit uncanny since this is cucurucho's kid?" and a new gate was opened for me.

this is Nacho, the official assistant of cucurucho and the nightmare fuel of (almost) every islander! when the bunnies watched how happy and engaged where their guests with their interesting children, they also wanted to surprise the white bear with one made 100% by them after a few months of investigation and collecting samples! what? the bear didn't like them instantly? no problem! we can modify them as many times as possible until reach perfection! after all, they were made for each other! :]

it's very sweet to see tallulah and bad's relationship now being mirrored in pepito and bad's relationship.

bad was one of tallulah's main caretakers in her early days. before she was adopted by phil, she confessed that she saw him as a father figure and confided in him often about wilbur. once phil adopted her, bad began to babysit tallulah less and less, and now he rarely sees her, since phil has it completely covered in the mornings. tallulah doesn't need him anymore, and, as a bbh main, its actually really heartwarming to see. bad was there to support her when she needed it, and his conversation with her on adoption gave her the push to then ask phil to consider her his daughter. now she no longer has to seek comfort and guidance in one of her tios. she has her papa, and anything she used to tell bad, she will now tell him.

with roier MIA and pepito's other parents being largely inactive, pepito is now in tallulah's shoes: a child with absent parents, who now has to be raised by the island as a collective. pepito has been hanging out with bad and late night trio a lot, and bad is acting very similarly to pepito as he would with tallulah. he reassures pepito a lot, that pepito's dad loves pepito very much and will be back soon. bad teaches pepito game mechanics, feeds pepito cookies, plays pretend with pepito, and speaks to pepito with the same gentleness that he would with tallulah. its so heartwarming to know that when a child is at their loneliest, this demon will be there to pick up the pieces. and maybe he's just a band-aid, maybe he will never be a fix to their problems, but he'll make them feel loved for as long as they need it.

someday, like tallulah, maybe we'll stop seeing pepito make regular appearances on bad's streams. but that's ok. that just means that pepito has found support in pepito's parents, and that will only be something to celebrate, not mourn.

the egg watching morning/evening split between tubbo and bad is like

tubbo:

sunny every day sunny wakes up

empanada if she's on and bagi's not there

ramon if he's on and fit's not there

chayanne if he's on and phil's not there (hasn't happened as often recently but he's mentioned wanting to)

tallulah if she's on and phil's not there (has happened a few times over christmas)

richas is usually with a parent at this time so sometimes he'll come by to say hi but doesn't stay.

bad:

dapper every day dapper wakes up

pomme pretty much every day pomme wakes up

richas if he's on and a parent's not there (and let's be real this is most nights)

pepito if pepito's on and roier or quackity isn't there

leo if she's on and foolish's not there (i saw this more before the eggs disappeared)

sometimes morning eggs will get handed off to bad if they want to stick around after tubbo leaves, or they'll want to go hang out with bad while tubbo is still there like em today. i wouldn't be surprised if (and i'm hoping that we will) start to see tallulah hanging out with bad more too. <3

then sometimes tubbo comes back and hangs out with eggs in the evening, recently ending up with a combination of pomme, richas, and/or pepito of the night eggs. if either bad or tubbo is watching eggs and the other logs on, there's a decent shot some eggs will start bouncing between them.

also interesting to note is that each of the morning eggs are tubbo's family in some way (his daughter, his daughter's sister, his and sunny's brother, and his godkids), so that's the main reason they'll log on to hang out with him and sunny. if any of the other eggs who aren't really related to him wanted to wake up to hang out with him, i'm sure he'd be happy to have them, but the morning eggs are comfortable hanging out with him because he is family.

bad is also family to the eggs he watches (dapper and pomme are his kids), but for some of them it started partly because he's stepped up to help complete egg tasks/cookies when their parents aren't around. though tallulah hasn't spent as much time with him recently, that was once true for her, too. and then there's richas who just loves hanging out with his siblings and bad lol
